Cockpit Scenes I live in one of those high rises you see when landing. My unit faces east so I see every plane approaching. I love seeing the British Airways 747 landing. The Queen of The Skies is enormous compared to all the other planes that land here. The pool at my building is on the 10th floor, sometimes when I go to the pool I just sit there and watch planes landing.
Michael Difede . . . every airport has good features and poor features. The San Diego airport has a very long history and the city expanded to surround the airport. It was essential during WWII and helped San Diego to grow. It has served the area well but the day will arrive when it will probably relocate. There are three other civilian/commercial airports in the area and one major military airport.

this airport should have been relocated decades ago. Disaster waiting to happen. Like landing in the bottom of a bowl. And that parking garage!!

It’s actually the world’s busiest airport with one runway.
