Thanks Laurence, glad you like the video. Keeping them coming may get difficult with the current lockdown but I will try and drop something through when I can. Cheers Keith
What super photography, and excellent video, well done I have heard that when a robin eats from the hand, that's a sign it has young around, shows how they all trust you, look forward to your next video, keep up the good work.
Hi Keith that was a superb video to watch all the image's were stunning. Your interaction with the Robin was just so lovely to watch and it was obvious what it meant to you personally. The work that went into this must have been phenomenal and from a viewer's perspective much appreciated, until next time take care and stay safe my friend.
Thanks Clive. It was definitely one of those special moments. To be honest the Robin made it quite easy for me to film but don't tell everyone...lol. Stay safe cheers Keith
Lovely film-you can see why they are our national bird! I have been feeding a pair in my garden since the first lockdown. It's amazing how reluctant they are to take that final step to fly directly to my hand but I keep trying, so maybe one day.
Great video, I really enjoyed this video Keith. The Robin is one of my favourite birds. I managed to get some photos of one last year with one of its fledglings. You never know it might introduce you to its family this year !!...🙂👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks Eddiek . Yeah the Robins are wonderful birds fantastic company when you’re out and about. Hopefully will be out of the lockdown before him and his family disappear for the summer. Cheers Keith
Brilliantly done Keith. I've been lucky enough to have several birds feeding from the hand, including Nuthatch, & it is such a wonderful experience. Great video & I can see subtle changes in style & editing. Keep evolving, it will be worth it.
Thanks Stewart. I really enjoyed recording this video the little robin was absolutely amazing. Getting a nuthatch to feed from your hand would be absolutely awesome. I’m trying to develop all the time and learning new things as I go, so hopefully you can see the difference. However lockdown is going to slow down progress at the moment I think. Thanks for watching cheers Keith
Thanks Mark. I was lucky to find this little guy who is absolutely amazing. Hopefully he will still be around when we get out of lockdown. Cheers Keith
Fantastic video Keith (or should it be Batman?) Not sure who would give this a thumbs down.....they probably hit it by mistake. What about a Fieldfare taking a berry from your hand next Winter 😂🤣😃
Thanks mate, it was a really fun video to record as you could probably tell by my face. I think the Fieldfare might be a challenge to far even for me 😂. Cheers Keith
Beautiful footage Keith what an amazing bird got a lovly shot of one last week was photographing buxzards at the time still hoping to capture one in the snow for that xmas look. 📸👍
Thanks for your comment Andy, much appreciated. I was hoping we may wake up to some snow this morning for the same reason but no such luck. Cheers Keith.
Thanks Scott, glad you like the video it was a pleasure to make that one.. Wish I had captured a little more slow motion in flight it really shows off the bird. Cheers Keith
Just lovely Keith, don´t know how I´ve missed this one! I tried this once with a bluetit which were very brave, didn´t mind me at all as I filled the feeders with food, unfortunally it never landed, stood like you´re doing for a good 25-30 min without any luck :P For the flip out screen solution, I got myself a UURig from amazon which are attached to the hot shoe, if you can tilt your screen. works fine, super easy to check your framing and to see if you´re in focus. cheers!
Thanks Andy, I know what it is like trying to keep up sometimes. I have tried with the Robin in the garden without luck, but might try again this year. Thanks for the flip screen option I will take a look at that, one more thing to carry around...lol. I have tried using the IPhone connected with WiFi but it does tend to drain the batteries.. Thanks for watching.... Cheers Keith
too many videos to watch haha... hope you get it, need to try again as well! haha yes but it weights nothing and its quite small too, worth it if you ask me 😊👌
Well done Keith another great video don’t know how you managed to get him to feed I have a couple of robins that visit my garden but carn’t get them anywhere near my hand to feed stay safe 👍👍
Thanks Michael it was great fun doing this one. I think somebody else had already been feeding it so that probably helped it to get used to people. Stay safe cheers Keith

Nice video. When you talk about the robin I always think of our American Robin, a much bigger and different bird with the orange breast.
Thanks Alex, glad you like the video and yes they are very different from the American Robin. Are the American Robin's as trusting? Cheers Keith
