Hi, My AWD shells are: Subaru Impreza 22b sti I installed 1 + 1 (Front) and 2 + 2 (Rear) ok? Honda civic type r I made 3 + 3 (front) and 4 + 4 (Rear) ok? Thanks For ma020, Thanks
It would be nice to have a -.5 front. Otherwise, the wheelset mostly covers every offset you would need. I always like to tuck my front wheels a bit so I dont pull tires, break a wheel, or bust a servo (like I did with my GLA 90 last weekend). I mostly use the Atomic 19mm up front, which has a maxium of 1.5mm offset, unfortunately they are discontinued. Great video, subscribed for more (dont know why I wasnt subbed already).
Thanks EMU. I agree I was hoping to see a negative narrow but alas it did not come with it. Oddly I could not find anything online so I just pulled the trigger on the purchase and shared my finding here.
@@byebyeracing4277 I picked up the AWD version for my AWD's. Might pick up the same you have at a later date. I love white wheels, so I can see the angle that my wheel is turned when racing.
@@EMU1 Yeah I think the white attracted me along with the design. I want to get the awd set eventually as well. A long while back I picked up a bunch of different offsets from mini-zracer.com shop on sale for only a couple bucks a pair. Perfect again for trying out different offsets until you find the best fit.
@@byebyeracing4277 I picked up the last set MZR had in stock. Good price, and I needed different offsets. I have too many dish, and spoke wheels generate more traction.
Correct. Kyosho has a chart that gives you the recommended offset. With this kit you can got up or down in offset to find what you are comfortable with performance wise.
The Autoscale audi LMS specs state that it needs N 4.5 on the front. Is that the offset? I haven't really seen anything over a 3 offset around. Anyone know what weeks come in a 4.5?
Good question. I am using the 0 wide and 0 narrow I've printed with success. It becomes more difficult to get the same quality once you start adding offsets because it's not printing to a flat smooth surface.
@@EMU1 Well that's just it. For some reason Simplify3d supports just don't give it enough of a surface for a decent finish. This leaves a little too much material to clean up at this small of a size. At the end of the day it's just rapid prototyping for better quality manufacturing later.
Good stuff learning alot
Great video ... keep them coming 👍
Thank you my dude!

So if I want to change my body I just got to make sure it's the same size and off set if rims?

They are speaking to the awd wheel offsets.
So, does a +3 offset stick out more than a +0 or does the higher number make it suck in more?
Correct. This applies to both RWD wheels and AWD wheels.
Why don't you use your own printed wheels?

@@byebyeracing4277 I wonder if you add a little support material to be cut away you can overcome that limitation.

@@byebyeracing4277 yeah, that is my current opinion about 3d printing as well. There are limitations, and it provides less than production quality.
