Got my 2022 Tacoma TRD OffRoad and Swift camper about 2 months ago. Put on 10K miles already. I have modified my interior by removing the roll over couch and taking out everything that wasn't needed .. the extra cushions, etc. Space is an premium in the Swift but it's only me so not a problem .. why I bought it in the 1st place. My Toyota weighs 4680 lbs.. with camper 6100 lbs. Remember, 20 gals of water onboard is 160+ lbs by itself. Also getting 15/17 mpg .. average is 16mpg! My mechanic upon seeing the Tacoma said to me 'Now don't f**k with it by lifting it and bigger tires and all the mods' .. He said the Taco is a decent truck ll by itself without mod's .. sofar he's been right .. only added air bags and a rear sway bar. 🤠

Likely more than that. Mid-30s Id guess. Yes, ridiculous for someone who lives paycheck to paycheck but most buyers likely have ample disposable income to afford it.
Hi guys great looking truck! I’m waiting on my swift which will arrive in Feb so I’m looking for a 5th wheel mount solution. What system or are you using back there for the spare 5th wheel. Thanks!
Your camper and truck combo is well over GVW. All of the weight you added in suspension upgrades actually lowered your payload, 'You Cannot Increase a Vehicle's Factory Payload or GVW'.... When you weigh this vehicle it must be equal to or less than the information inside your door. If you get in an accident, you can be found liable and your insurance will be null and void. Not trying to be an ass here, but the outfit that did that work can also be held liable.
Agreed. That's why I got an off road, off grid trailer. If someone wants something like this...Buy a 1 Ton truck. Never a mid size or 1/2 ton. Plus its easier to sell a trailer then this camper setup. Just my opinion.
How about the needed brake upgrades? The truck and brakes were designed for 900lb load, the camper not loaded plus passengers will almost double that, add in oversized off-road tire tread. What is the stopping distance in a panic stop. Stay safe.

Is the truck have a 5 or 6 foot beed? As for a four wheel camper, they are WAY WAY behind on technology . They have zero storage, especially since the competition has under the bed storage for mid size trucks. I'm full-time overlander and moving from a Chevy 2500 to a Tacoma to continue to Africa, but I'm just not sure on the lack of storage this model has. I'm looking at a Taco with the 6 foot bed. Thanks for the video.
2:24 closing the camper down does help with drag which you negated with the snowboard rack 😂. To help more with drag put a rack on the Tacoma’s roof to help direct more air above the overhang (bed)

Does this 2022 Toyota Tacoma have the 2.7 liter I4 engine or the 3.5 liter V6 engine? Does it have a manual transmission or an automatic one?
All that weight might break some Axles and CV.
