CHEERS CYA SOON FOR THE NEXT SZN OF VLOGGUS 🐒🤩🚀
loved the sponsor for this video! have actually been looking into savings account that have a high interest n it was great that you introduced OCBC 360, would be greater if you can do a video of more savings accounts and bank credit cards etc
ahhhh this video is so important to me 🥺 i feel like not enough is being said about how we are expected to finance our uni education when it's such a relevant concern... (literally when i asked my JC teacher about it, she just said she had no idea how to help me 🥲) thank you sm for talking about this 😭🙏
Found tamago a week ago......fell in love with the content and the *vloggus* watched all of the videos and finally caught up with the posts...thinking of buying him a charger lol😂😂😂😂
Back with vloggu😍! I was waiting after seeing your headsup abt new vloggu in insta on Friday!.. Finally the wa8 is over😆🥳 . . . . . Finance videos for international students 😅
hey Daniel, could you explain how it's calculated? If it's 4.75% per year calculated at the end of every year, how do they calculate everything given you are paying off a fixed amount every month? Asking this coz I'm prolly paying via installments :/
Daniel/any knowledgeable viewer, why wouldn’t you invest 100% of your savings into stocks/50% as shown in his scenario wouldnt that have a higher yield of rewards?
I'd say it differs from person to person -- savings could be focused on paying off debt + saving for holidays, while putting 100% savings into stocks may yield higher rewards, there's a possibility of a bear market which could mean a loss to pull out your initial investments. (e.g. if person A put 100% of his savings into investments and had to draw some of it out during march 2020 to pay off debt, he might have lost out on his principle amount) Just my 2 cents
Great question! And yes it differs based on every individual’s risk profiles - for me personally as mentioned I like to have 6-12 months worth of expenses inside an “emergency fund” (because I’m in the gig economy), so if I have excess income on top of that, I can put it into investments :) Hope that makes sense!
Btw my uncle once joked (when my cousin graduated from SMU in 2017) that graduation ceremonies are now called commencement ceremonies because it’s commencement of suffering!! 😂
Hey Daniel, I'm also a college student rn (ntu) haha, I'm curious what drives ur decision to take the leap of faith to really do what u do full time? Knowing that u're in a really good major aka finance to make good and more stable income and u got good grades to land urself in a comfy job.
Hope you guys enjoy the NEW VLOGGU 🥳 (back in 4K 😉)

perhaps so you can have disposable income to purchase necessities e.g. food, water, rent etc.
