I have some experience with split level house . At first it will look interesting but as you age this is will become a headache. Remember 1 level is always good . Nowadays more flood damages happen… so raise the ground floor , use it for parking have a staircase and elevator. Just have 1 floor . If you wish to rent have another floor with 2 houses for rent. . That’s enough . No more no less .
I do not think this new approach seen in the video would be acceptable to the middle class living in the present because it would be difficult for the middle class to build a house with such a difficult environment while at the same time it would be unacceptable for them to cope with the cost.
