The Awesome Players once again had a team entered the first big event of the year, The Classique. Over 400 bikes in teams of ten would tackle a multitude of routes from scenic to super gnarly. We had a varied group. Ivan on the KTM690 Enduro with Basil Rally Kit. Jason and Jean-Luc on KTM 500EXCs. JP on the Yamaha WR250. On Hondas we had Marc on the big Africa Twin 1000 and Gilles on the CRF250L. The teutonic clan was made up of Chris on the BMW HP2 and Super Dave on the F800GS. Last and certainly least was Riley on the super sexy Husqvarna 701 Enduro. Riley writes the UA-cam descriptions... We had some unnecessary water crossings, mud, dust, flat tires, bugs, a lot of beautiful trails and at the end some rain and cold . Everything needed to make for a memorable day of riding with friends. Enjoy. - Авто та транспорт
Great entertainment- super fun to watch. Enjoyed the video Riley. Tnx. Thumbs up for an impressive performance from all players - especially J.P.
UnEasy Rider JP is a trooper.
Wow you guys have so many areas to ride it's awesome.
Where I live within an hour on the bike you have hit many trails but they are are not long at all before you're back on pavement
The classic looks like an awesome fun time thanks again for a great video
We complain and we sometimes lose an area but overall we are quite lucky. Cheers.
Thanks a ton Riley
Thanks for being on the team.
So good!!! Thanks for taking us on another ride
No problem Jim. More coming.
Thank you Riley for all your job with the nice videos. Really love your english coments. so easy to understand you. Roger from Sweden
roger holmbäck Thanks Roger.
Just found your Chanel. I love the intro song with some carnage and a guy flying up in the air by accident. Feels so familiar, that's basically me when I ride. Lol
Welcome to the channel. I should update that opening some day with some newer bad riding.
Well done, always enjoy your vids and brotherhood
Thanks. Can't wait to get out there this season. Winter really makes you appreciate the summer.
Always enjoy the classiques from my armchair ;)
Mr Nerb sir, always nice to hear from you.
Fun to watch, as always. Keep'em comin'
Trying to be more regular with the new releases.
My AT does that too. They've got some sort of crash sensor or something in there that prevents starting after a fall. After a few minutes you'll be fine.
The sensor itself is located under the dash display if you ever need to replace it, I only know that because I forgot to plug it back in after doing a bunch of work in there and had to go digging for it
OlloDee Good to know.
Most bikes these days after a dump...if you turn key on and off a few times it resets the computer...and they pop right off.
Mark Jacobs Seems logical in this day and age of overly complex systems.
Another awesome video. Here in NB we aren't allowed on trails yet...
Here the managed trails are still closed. Riding seems to be allowed buy straying from home is frowned upon. A lot of people will be going back to work over the next few weeks. Hopefully riding in the woods with a helmet on will be seen as a low risk soon.
Awesome ..awesome players thanks for sharing these practical /real videos... From a Kiwi
Iain Mackinnon Thanks Lain. We can’t compete with the guys who make videos about skills so we strive for real.
You had me with the ribs & poutine description. Great video. Thank you awesome players!
Brian VeeStrom We did it one year and it was delicious. Do it every year since.
We have seen that water crossing many times. Great video Riley!
Thanks Bill.
looks like a wicked time, thanks for the great watch
ryan_brooks How goes the bike hunt?
Thanks again guys, see ya tomorrow! Things are slowly opening up so I'll be heading up that same Louisa road to open up the cottage Tuesday. Trails (Scotch road) hopefully opening shortly after. Cheers
frank mcgachy Rode around my back yard in suburbia here and then did a few laps of a closed shopping centre parking lot. I am ready to hit the trails!
Yes!!!
That looks like a fun day of riding, thanks for bringing us along.
I finally got around to purchasing another sticker to replace the one that was sadly murdered by too many sticky wasp guts on the bike.
The new ones are wasp gut resistant... or maybe it was UV resistant.
Thanks for the video...much appreciated under social isolation...video very well done.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Waiting...
Me too!
Seems the weather likes to hit you at the end of a ride when your already tired LOL excellent video.
We all had gear to put on but no one wanted to stop and rummage through our kits. Turned the last hour or so of the ride into a really miserable experience that could have been easily avoided. Live and learn!
Not home by lunch, but still good.
Greg Hudzik But we made it to lunch which is rare!
Hey Riley, I think I have have a question. I lack some of the decades of life-experience that you have. I have enjoyed a good amount of the APOMC-Videos over the years. And I wonder for a while now, if you have always had an easy of a time, getting up as early as you do on these group rides. I'm afraid I'm not quite there yet and I don't know if the is any hope for me
Getting up sucks. I can't count the number of times I have wanted to text the boys that I am not going and just pull the blankets over my head. But then once you hit the road it all seems worth it.
JP rocks
Nice of you to notice ;)
@@jpsynth1411 Not many people have an entire class of rocks named after them.
@@AwesomePlayers True!
Thanx again for the video !!
Did you have multiple trail choices ? I can see a vstrom at 18:33...with its poor ground clearance I was wondering ;)
cracotator I think there were 5 different routes. Easiest for street bikes, hardest for the 250s.
At 30:38 you can see an El Camino with an off-roady Harley Davidson in it.
You have good eyes my friend.
@@AwesomePlayers No - just a good memory. I remember the guy riding it had a 70's style helmet with metallic paint. Sort of thing you wear riding a Vespa.
Cool video! What's the name of that software you're using, that supports timestamps?
Avid Media Composer but Adobe Premiere and the free DaVinci Resolve can do it with a little more work.
re: camera clocks - I would expect that to continue to get easier as GPS gets more common on cameras. GPS carries with it extremely accurate timekeeping (but whether the cameras make use of it, who knows)
Unreasonable Steev The system now isn’t bad. Just my handheld Sony has no time code. I use it less and less as the GOPro 7 has a great image and the feel of the wide angle is better.
Which editing system you're using?
I am using Avid Media Composer. Any software would do though. I use Avid since I am very familiar with it. I have been using it since 1995! Most folks these days are using Adobe Premiere it seems.
That’s a cool feature with the video time code... what video editing software are you using?
I am using Avid Media Composer but the hot ticket these days for free software is DaVinci Resolve.
Did people use to gather together like that?
In the before time. It is written in the ancient texts.
Hey rigley are you satisfyed with the 701 ?
Yes I am. Plenty of power. Decent suspension and pretty.
A Classique video without the sound of a Suzuki DR starter. Doesn’t seem right. 😁
A few years ago we were all lined up for the Classique waiting for the start. Off in the distance we heard the sound of a starter motor really geting a workout. We all looked at each other and shouted "DR". Sure enough about 100 yards away a Mighty DR was struggling to come to life.
Hello team 🏍🇨🇦
Marc Pigeon Marc how is the tap dancing coming?
Any idea what actually caused the Africa Twin not to start?
Keep up the great work! Always a pleasure.
Someone mentioned a tip over sensor. Not really sure.
Good old Fairview pick up.... too bad it’s canceled this year.
Arch V Sad. Did a few laps of Fairview today on the 701. Bike is running good. Kind of scares me sometimes when you really hit the throttle.
31:25 Dat laugh :D
It is a bit weird.... not sure when that started.
My friends and I were going to go this year but then covid struck :(
We had a team for Saturday and Sunday.
That poor Seiko had a hard life.
gbtw It is a kinetic that needs no batteries. That watch has been on my wrist twenty four hours a day for over twenty years.
@@AwesomePlayers you must have the best watch tan
Awesome stuff! A new friend of mine made a couple Beaver tail Kuksas on his UA-cam channel a while back Woodwalker 1965. I'm gonna give it a go once i get some Birch to carve. Then can I be an honorary Canadian Beaver Petter? (CBP)
I ordered the full meal deal stickers and patches pack... oh yeah!
pinkiewerewolf Watch for splinters when petting wooden beavers!
Awesome Players Ggod tip! I need to step up my BP skills!
I'm still pisses you bought a 701. I bought a AT.. after seeing a lot of your videos of you on the 800. I always thought if he can do it I can ...on a big bike. At least Chris still rids the hp2. Either way I keep watching... Damn good videos.....I'm still pissed tho....lol
Was thinking of going bigger again this year but the damn pandemic is messing with my life!
#Only3Flats 😂
Not bad right!
For the European viewers. What the heck is putine?
Fries, gravy, and cheese curds. It's quite good.
@@jpsynth1411 The gravy makes it. McDonalds sells poutine but it sucks.
Off road ?Pls, get some decent off roaders, spare yourself the weight, expense, torture and time loss on dinosaurs like these "bikes"...LOL
Fun is fun.
