In our group, Ivan is the GPS and map master so it made sense when Marc one of the key guys for the Classique asked for his help in creating some new routes for the event. For those of you who don't know the Classique is the largest dual sport/adventure bike event in Canada. Close to 1000 riders will be heading out on six different routes over two days. Several of the routes were ones we knew but still needed to be checked for obstacles and washouts. The first few were totally new and based solely on Ivan's research on the computer and some old maps he had. Lots of face-slapping branches, quite a few rocks, a little mud and some decent climbs made for a great day. - Авто та транспорт
Please NEVER change the opening theme. It's gained a place in my brain that triggers positive vibes like many TV show theme songs from when I was a kid.
P.S. I got excited when I saw 'DR650' in the title. I thought "No Way! Could he be back?!?!' But alas, it was not to be. I reckon old Henrik is still ate up with sailing, eh?
The theme shall remain! Henrik has since moved on to renovating old stone buildings.

Track were tested the next weekend with me and Ivan. Trees and dead ends were abundant. Will be really fun to ride in a new sector for the Classique.

It was a fun day with just enough adversity.
I get a fever when I watch your videos. I plan to move back to New England so I can ride. But you guys are crazy. Why would you want to work that hard? I like the dirt roads, but none of that riding through the woods. I started watching your channel years ago when I bought my 2016 DR650. You guys aren't young either. It's too much for this old man. lol

Looks like you’re turning the route into a
“Hard Enduro”. You might need a sweeper group to rescue all the unaware riders.
Some won't be used and others will need more exploring and may be used next year. Always tough to start an event in a new area from scratch. There were multiple other volunteers out there doing other routes. Ivan went out a couple more times as well.
Seems your group need to have a small electric chainsaw just for clearing the way .
Ivan and the boys did use the Milwaukee M12 pruning saws on a later ride and loved them.
You can use the bike to dig the banks faster.
We would have killed for a shovel!
