16 riders, two runs, single run counts. As expected, finals at the Monster BMX Street Style delivered the best riding of the weekend. Congrats to Kevin, Matt, and Larry! And shout out to Monster for making it happen.
WHAT IS OUR BMX?!
In short, we are the Ride BMX staff out on our own. We're building from the ground up and our goal is pretty simple. We want to continue what we love. We want to create great content, feature awesome riders, and contribute, push, and show why we love BMX. We sincerely appreciate any and all support... -Ryan Fudger, Jeff Zielinski, Adam Watkins, and Justin Benthien.

I can't even ride with one leg, it's amazing how Julian has adapted a style that legitimately works and is a thrill to watch
Right? Isnt he dope? I find it insane that he's that good.
Would love to see him foot plant
Julian molina es una bestia!!!
Saludos desde mexico!
Seems like more of a park contest lol, but still sick watching some of these guys nonetheless.
thankyou our bmx
I was wondering why homeboy was carving to pump for speed instead of pedaling and then i realized he only had one leg and was still raw as shit. So much respect. I cant even imagine how much more difficult most tricks would be without a leg, and he makes it look easy. Totally insane.
And as always, pat goes for broke. Hes always doing such ambitious stuff. Gotta love it. And kevin killed it thoroughly. Excellent showing from everyone for sure.
I like the win for Kevin Peraza. The course definitely matches his style being a kind of park / street hybrid.
Summer is approaching! Time to step up our game. Get outside and RIDE!!
The park looks badass with the containers and trucks, rippin up the construction site.
Do someone think too that matt ray had to win? btw kevin is the g.o.a.t
Julián Molina un orgullo colombiano las mejores parcero
Eli is so underrated
Matt ray won but the monster rider had too get 1st place for marketing purpose.
Peraza is amazing. And the park look like very cool ;)
8:36 - best trick with best reaction

Id venture to say he can do it with just his one leg. Hes dripping with skills and talent. Really impressive.

Matt Rays barspins hurt my hands. He hucks em.
Best run counts: Casey 3whip, 3nohander, downwhip, whip, flairbar, 180 halfcab, bar nohander, 180 doublewhip! O.k., no grind, not the best use of the park, but good style and all the clean bangers.
Right? If he didnt have a couple screw ups in there, id for sure think hed have taken 2nd. Really only kevin and to an extent matt made really solid use of the whole park. Most everyone else skipped features consistently to go for what they could throw down on, so the absence of rail tricks by pat might be the only other issue. Otherwise he killed it.
I think the judges wanted to see more variety out of pat since it is a hybrid street/park event. Pat definitely killed it though! As usual
@@OurBMX great insight. Thanks for giving your perspective. It does stand to reason that they would want more than just big park bangers, without too much street. When i saw streetstyle, i initially thought of the dew tour downhill version, so i just saw this as park, but it does make sense that judges would want some nice tech street hits too. Pat really went after it almost like he does on a mini ramp, but with a few extra features. Still a savage, but the higher placers did involve quite a bit more street stuff.
Of course! Yeah, exactly...it's meant to be a hybrid event and Pat's runs definitely leaned on the park side and hurt him a bit, I believe. Larry was also super park-heavy, but he also did a few things to flat, etc.
Thanks Fudger!
Unos monstruos 🔥🔥🔥
Dam matt! I couldn't ride with that announcer lol he to much
lol totally agree. i would like to hear what the riders thought of him.
I feel like the commentators don’t know some of the tricks lol they’re like “that was a.....wow” 😂 sick content nonetheless 🤘🏽
The commentators are Jamie Bestwick (vert legend) and Micah Kranz, both life time BMXers. Sometimes it's hard to call tricks on the fly...
@@OurBMX also, saying ‘wow’ to some of these tricks is an accurate response AND description haha
Yeah wow was an accurate answer for pretty much everything that was done 😂😂 I’ve been watching it since qualifying the other day and I’m still watching the highlights.
@@j.r.goepper9789 picked up on the oppo stuff when I cant even work out what their normal way is.

I CANT COMPETE IN CONTESTS BECAUSE MY HELMET HAS A STICKER THAT SAYS TERRORIST PERMIT
I think the commentator would have done fine without a mic.
To be “pro” you should be able to ride everything. Our BMX continues to kill “bmx”.
Awesome riding! Here's a mid school video you guys might enjoy and appreciate ua-cam.com/video/ASFlATND-qs/v-deo.html
there more apologize than footage on every post. ryan you having to much late night son

Crowd is dead.
Why is this filmed like some voyeur is spying on the riders. Have they heard of keeping people in frame?
Got a timecode of the issue you’re talking about? I thought the filming was above average for the most part.
From 0:13 for the next 20 seconds is a good example, the rider goes out of frame multiple times and the shots from behind the box looking down the course is just a weird choice of shot.
Overall pleased to see the coverage, just some strange filing choices. Keep up the solid content though ❤️
Ah. Not an easy answer really. The moving/gimbal camera’s (that’s me filming) main goal is to film a recap video for monster, so letting the rider leave the frame is appealing visually for their video. The tripod camera was tucked in that spine corner and it was difficult to follow (stew couldn’t do a full rotation because of an obstacle). Also, Dan didn’t really do much in between at points so it was best to just cut ten or so seconds out at times, but I guess it doesn’t make sense to the person watching at times.
@@OurBMX Hey man, thanks for the response. You know what, I actually felt pretty shitty reading your reply, as it's probably pretty disheartening when you upload content and then somebody like me comes along and talks shit about it. Overall I loved the video and appreciate the content, and I'll continue to watch the videos you upload.
Thanks dude. Honestly, no worries at all. I understand UA-cam comments will be UA-cam comments and don't take it personally. I saw your comment and another similar one and was genuinely curious about how people see the video with the idea of being conscious about it next time. Sometimes there's just not easy solutions that check every box when I'm doing multiple things at once. I'll link you to the monster video when it drops so you can see what I'm technically there to film..
Radical, but totally lacking the style of classic 80's BMX.
