Project 11 - Bigger. Better. Safer.

The Houston Ship Channel is critical to U.S. energy security, manufacturing growth, job creation, and expanding exports. Project 11, led by Port Houston in partnership with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, will widen and deepen the channel, making it safer and more efficient while adding sustainable environmental features. This expansion ensures that the Houston Ship Channel continues to be a cornerstone of the U.S. economy, supporting over 3 million jobs and generating $906 billion in economic impact annually.
