- I came up with a new attachment for the EASTWOOD and HARBOR FREIGHT powder coating systems. The FAN NOZZZLE! If you have a large surface area to powder coat then you absolutely need one of these for your EASTWOOD or HARBOR FREIGHT guns!

Thanks Larry. Any chance you can show another video where you don't time-lapse the part we really want to see? Where you spray the part in real time, or even slowed down, as opposed to speeding it up? And maybe on the Eastwood gun?

Hey Larry. What kind of prep work did you have to do? That expanded metal is usually pretty dirty and has surface rust. Maybe this is another video. Thx.
I keep my metal stock in a controlled enviroment (inside my shop) so it's not exposed to the elements of wheather, so very little if no rust. The sample piece in the video was cut from a new 4'x8' sheet, then I blasted it with glass beads to clean it up and after wiped it down with aceton.
You can get a small blaster from Harbor Freight that holds about a pound of sand. Works fine, and cheap.
What inline filter/regulator do you have on your guns
Lowe's brand, KOBALT.
Where do you get your powder from? Also do they have a military discount, and do you have one?

@@CycleFab also with a infrared lamp, I found the same specs with one from Home Depot. Would it work also to cure powder coating?
