Your attention to detail is exceptional since most channels covering the same material either miss and/or omit the details you cover. That in itself makes your channel a rare gem. Keep up your unique coverage, attention to detail makes the story far more compelling than the rest.
The narrator was terrible---she sounds like a 10-year-old child who can barely read. Ruins the entire thing. I'm very interested in Zelda Fitzgerald's story, but I can't stand listening to this reader.
Thank you for this. Dying in a fire is such a harrowing way to go. Beyond haunting. It's also enraging that men got "the cowboy cure" while women got the yellow wallpaper punishment/treatment. Being locked up 2hile men got freedom. I used to research complex trauma and I always assumed that Zelda, like her childhood friend Tallulah, had a traumatic childhood and also likely suffered CSA.
Amazing job on this video! Her connection to fire was already intriguing to me and I did not know about the 🔥 references in her letters. Also have not seen photos of the hospital before. This was excellent.
Thank you so much for this. I thought I knew quite a bit about Zelda, but realize I had a gap of knowledge closer to the time of her tragic and horrifying death in Asheville in 1948. I also have never seen photos of the original HIghlands building nor the fire itself.
