Japan Day 9: Nakano Broadway, Tokyo Skytree & The Worst Food @ Xex

Day nine in Tokyo kicked off with a hearty start at Sarabeth’s, where we indulged in not one but three meals to fuel up for the day - truly embracing the 'fat boy season' in Tokyo.
With energy levels high, we made our way to Nakano Broadway, a paradise for enthusiasts of retro gaming and unique collectibles. Aaron snagged an exclusive Japanese Blue Eyes White Dragon, a highlight of our treasure hunt in this otaku haven. We also immersed ourselves in the vibrant world of Japanese arcade games, adding a playful twist to our cultural exploration.
The afternoon brought us to Tokyo Skytree, where we ascended to take in breathtaking views of the sprawling cityscape. The panoramic vistas were a perfect pause in our fast-paced journey.
However, the day took a downturn with dinner at Xex Tokyo. Opting for a Tempura set menu, we quickly learned that not all that glitters is gold. The meal, despite its fancy presentation, fell drastically short of our expectations, unanimously earning a -10 from us for its lackluster flavours.
