I love this animatic. Specially given White says the last sentence to Steven, not in spite but in understanding. The way she looks at him, only makes it seem White has pity for Steven. And unlike Yellow and Blue, actually understands hes not his mother.
The size desparity isn't as ridiculous, but still! Really well done! That's what I don't get about Pink Diamond. Gems are suppose to come out of the ground fully formed. Even if the Gem type is really small and immature, like a Ruby, there isn't suppose to be a period of aging, no child or teenage years. So WHY is Pink so much smaller than the rest of her family? Why do the Diamonds value her, when they seem to hate off-colors and smaller defective gems? The crux of the start of her arc is that she's sick of being treated like a child. Yet the show always PORTRAYS her as one, in terms of size and attitude, and it doesn't line up.

I've always preferred this kind of portrayal of White Diamond. For me it would be more interesting if this is her personality, for others they want a 'savage monster' as put it. :)

Because, what if the reason we haven't seen White Diamond yet is because maybe she's in a catatonic state where she sits in her palanquin mourning, so thusly Blue and Yellow must act as though she we're able to perform her duties. But, that's just my theory. Hopefully, we see her soon on the show. Otherwise, this is amazing. I could this developed into a full animation in the future. Keep up the awesome work.
I so hope for this white diamond. It would be so easy to make her a bloodthirsty monster, or an emotionless authoritative figure who was made to be feared. Giving her a motherly role, one that shows just how much the other diamonds mean to her would be such a stark contrast from the rest of homeworld as we know it.

Luna97 blue diamond is kind and caring also she's such grieving the loss of pink diamond but again we only saw a few mins of pink and she might of been childish but kind also and white might be the meanest one of all of them
I think because of that fact that white diamond might be the head diamond means that she can't ever afford to look weak by giving in to grief in front of the other gems or maybe even the remaining diamonds.
