Im a lic cosmetologist but never done extensions except a quick class in school. I want to buy the hair and practice on my daughter. Can you tell me good hair companies I can order hair from using my license online. Love the videos, Thanks
Do you have a client that has hair that is just a little longer then yours in this video that you do an install on? I’m trying to teach myself and my mom(we are licensed) to do them on me for both length and a little volume and I’d love to see weft placements! As I’d believe we would need two rows! Stylist in my area are not helpful and are very “if you pay me I’ll help show you” mentality and I’m a stay at home mom and just want to feel good about myself again, you’re videos have given me a lot of hope!

I know theirs tons of way to do hand tied wefts but in my class they taught me to put less hair in the bead. For your technique putting that much hair in the bead won’t cause damage?
First of all, THANK YOU for taking the time to teach other cosmetologists these methods. UA-cam is amazing. So I have a question, I want to try doing these on a close friend for the first time and she has very thin hair, tape ins were not healthy for her hair so one pack of hot heads comes with 2 wefts (2 pack) if I’m reading on the site correctly, I wonder if that’s enough? Was this just 2 wefts for this client sewn together?
if she just wants it for fullness and not a ton of length 2 wefts should be enough, you could sew them in two separate rows or both in one row depending on what placement looks best!
Where do you get your wefts from? Do you make your clients provide them? Or do you? Baby stylist here. And thanks for the video. I’ve been wanting to learn for some time now.
Helpful hint from fellow stylist! I alwYAs pick a bead that closest to the color of the hair closest to the scalp! Helps blending an up do or pony/bun so much better! ❤️ your amazing at what you do tho.
Yes!!! Root matched bead and thread. I would’ve also rooted the hair to match her color. They’re xtra details but it’s the little things that set apart certain stylists from the rest. Extensions should be seamless and undetectable. Unfortunately, while the install isn’t bad, all of those lack of attention to details will make this install stick out like a sore thumb. When her hair moves, you’re going to see every single thing with these extensions.
I’ve learned this method 2years ago thanks to your video! Now I’m back here asking for help. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, but the hair don’t seem to stay longer than week on it’s place. Everytime I comb very gently, they go loose…. Any tips? ❤

Great tutorial for fine hair. We have an issue with the weft slipping in the middle and only lasting maybe 3 weeks before needing a complete re-install, and have been using a stylist. Is there one method vs the other to potentially help with this? Her current application is like the one here. I'm wondering if the thread install helps it last longer? Also, can you recommend a thread available online for DIYers? Thanks for your time and tutorials! I'm trying to help someone with education and maintenance for her very fine hair and an oily scalp. :)
it could possibly be the beads. Also make sure you clarify shampoo their hair first and blow dry with no conditioner or product to help the beads stay in better!

wow I have a new respect for your work. My back hurts. I crimp to hard and have fat fingers. She had retipped the strands and clipped the ends some were kind of fat. There is a technique to it. I just wanted to say your client was very good. We watched Mulan together and this time it was much better. Practice! She was right I got it figured out about the time we got finished. Looks good and my daughter is happy that is what counts. It is part art and part skill. She handed me the strands and loaded the tool so I had a helper. I put my comb, wire threading gizmo and plyers in the crack between the head rest and chair. It worked really well after I got situated. Be patient - definitely get a helper - the comment of the woman who will have her boyfriend help was smart it is or was for me a wonderful opportunity to bond. You do quality work and share with us here your experience - I just wanted to follow up and say, once again. Thank you Oh note: I had to take three out uncrimp? anyhow it happens, and do over. The amount of hair and size of tip make a difference. We put the tip under the little bundle to hide it and did not stick it in quite so far as the last time - it is more comfortable for her. The client knows how it feels. Keep up the good work 🌹
Question please.... I have Bellamy Clip ins can I use them for this method if I remove the clips? I do have thick hair so was curious if the wefts come different depending on method used... I would appreciate a response... tysm ❤️
So for this one there was not a string at all used between the beads before sewing...so it is only sewed to the beads as the platform? Also, when its time to move up, can you just move the beads up or does it need to come back out and be reinstalled?
I have an updated video of how i’ve evolved with my method! this one is an old video when I was trying out new things💗 here’s the updated one ua-cam.com/video/mqUDITnBpbg/v-deo.html

What size of bead would be best for someone with thin/fine hair, 3mm or 5mm?
Best tutorial I’ve seen. Thank you so much!!!
Do you seal the hair weft after you cut it to size of the section?
yes, with super glue
7:02 good tip thank you
beautiful work - you are way better at this than I am ha ha it's the video that makes it look quick and easy
wow I have a new respect for your work.
Thank you
Oh note: I had to take three out uncrimp? anyhow it happens, and do over. The amount of hair and size of tip make a difference. We put the tip under the little bundle to hide it and did not stick it in quite so far as the last time - it is more comfortable for her. The client knows how it feels. Keep up the good work

Hi! Loved the vid.I was curious can just your bangs be done like this?
is one row enough for an extension? Thx
Amazing work!!! 👏👏👏👏
Question please.... I have Bellamy Clip ins can I use them for this method if I remove the clips? I do have thick hair so was curious if the wefts come different depending on method used... I would appreciate a response... tysm ❤️
i'm not sure! possibly
Are you only using 1 piece of handtied hair?
What kind of yarn are you using and how are you shortening your wefts? ❤️
So many more details coming soon, go to wholyhair.com if you want to get on the waiting list for my future classes💗
Thanks your so amazing! Good hearted hopefully baby is here healthy!
Did you install just one row of the weft?
Hello
This is a great video very well explained
I xould like to know where can i buy these extensions please??
So for this one there was not a string at all used between the beads before sewing...so it is only sewed to the beads as the platform? Also, when its time to move up, can you just move the beads up or does it need to come back out and be reinstalled?
I have an updated video of how i’ve evolved with my method! this one is an old video when I was trying out new things💗 here’s the updated one ua-cam.com/video/mqUDITnBpbg/v-deo.html
Are you placing the needle through the closed bead or just around it? Sorry if this was a dumb question I couldn’t tell.
around it :)
