    My dad was actually retired from the military because he got hit by a bomb and has to wear a battery in his back. Thanks for featuring this video give others reminders that soldiers should always be remembered for protecting our country with their very own lives. Thanks Dhar Man ❤️

    Fun fact: His brother that died, Should have tossed the grenade back. My dad served in the us. He told me that,
    If there’s ever a grenade near you, through it back or get behind cover. So yea, No offends but that sacrifice wasn’t necessary.

      He couldn't. In reality, it takes only four seconds for a grenade to explode and depending on how far the enemy is or how long they waited to throw it, his bro would've only had 2 or 2.5 seconds to throw it back and sometimes grenades explode early so the only thing they could've done was run ASAP, kick it or jump on it

    Crazy thing is. I found an army top at a thrift shop too. I was going to buy it to see how people would react but I chose not to because I knew it would be wrong. I'm glad I left it be.

      i doubt anyone would make a reaction if you found an army like top in a thrift store or a clothing store it would only be wrong if you wore the real army uniform and used it for personal gains which can lead to legal consequences as well as a damaged reputation since the people who did go to the army could potentially scrutinize you

    This video is close to me because my dad is retired from Indian Army, he use to get 100 percent discount at toll but he always paid in full saying it goes towards the development of nation, he use to avoid the free services so it can help someone else who is more in need.     This video reminds me that I got some family members that joined the military. For example, my great-grandmother (my father's grandmother) served as an nurse on World War 2 so I wouldn't call her a soldier, but she did helped wounded soldiers and make them feel better. My great-grandfather (my mother's paternal grandfather) served in the Navy during World War 2 and Korea and later he served in the Army as a Corporal. I thank them for their services. God bless!

    My great grandpa and my grandpa both fought in the military. My great grandpa helped with the Vietnam war and and die from agent smoke that months later there was a bunch of different things he did so I just wanna say thank you to everybody who served for our country❤

    My grandfather served in WWII in the Navy and my Brother is a Lawyer in the Air Force I couldn’t be any prouder of them. I work at the VA for 13 years and seen so much of how we show the care for our Veterans everyday and to think someone out there faking about serving in the military they never understand the sacrifices they do for us everyday. Just like in the video ‘it’s not just a uniform it represent something more than they could ever understand’. I’m glad I work at the VA and seeing how veterans are being card for I’m not a veteran but I like helping them as my way of thanking them for there service.

    My father was in the army, so God bless him. He now suffers from slight lose of smell, and hearing. Not completely gone, but he has trouble hearing a lot, because of the loud bangs and grenades in the army.

    My dad was a paratrooper for 8 yrs during the Korea War but was never sent to the line…. He passed away & had a beautiful Military Service. He was 84 yrs old. Miss you dad♥️

    Even if he did serve in the Army, he shouldn’t try to get stuff for free. We at home fight our own battles, and while they may not be as grand scale as what happens overseas, that doesn’t mean we should take life for granted, ever. Respect is not something anyone can demand, it’s something they have to earn. And once they earn it, they have to maintain it

      I have meet many veterans who go out on Veterans Day for the free lunch and dinner but my uncle who served in The Army doesn’t go out he feels while it’s nice to be recognized he don’t like going out for what he feels is taking advantage.

    I just realized that my cousin is part of the military. I can't remember if he's in the Air Force or Navy. He may not have seen combat, but this hurts my family and others by people like him taking advantage of real people volunteering to defend our country.

    I have military family members too. 🇺🇸
    1. My dad was in the Navy
    2. My grandpa and my great-uncle (on my mom's side) were in the Army
    My dad and I aren't close at all, but i am proud of him for serving our country with honor!!! Same goes for my grandpa and great uncle!!!! 👏👏👏

    My grandpa went to the army, he was the mayor. Luckily he didn't die in the army, but he passed away when I was just 4 months old. Now I'm almost 9, but I will never forget that. I can't remember him in any way, but even though, I can still see him on pictures and I believe that he was very good person.

    Flag on his shoulder is facing the wrong way. A Navy veteran told me that a simple rule of thumb to remember is that, regardless of which shoulder or branch, the Flag's star field should always point forward towards the heart.

    I’m 13 and a law enforcement enthusiast. The slap at the end, I just can’t believe. The officer just let the lady slap him. That would be a great county for assault, and battery, which is like 2-2 years in prison.

    My friend and co-worker is in the United States Army and right now he is at Fort Bragg in North Carolina and I'm very proud of him, he's not only my friend, he's my brother.
