This series really has been a highlight for me. Every time I see the new ones out, I stop everything to watch! Anthrax was always my favorite. I had the back cover of State of Euphoria as a back patch on my Jean jacket! Wish I still had it!
Crazy that Anthrax doesn’t like the album. I alway though it was one of there best. Especially Charlie!!! His drum sound and performance for me was so incredible.
Saw them on this tour with Ozzy @ San Diego Sports Arena. Anthrax had the Energy that I saw on Among The Living tour. Ozzy closed with show like only vintage Ozzy could w/Zakk Wylde(first tour).
SoE was special to me because it was the first one to come out after I'd gotten into the band; it was my first chance to buy one right when it came out.... and I wore that thing out. I remember eventually hearing "oh the band isn't that happy with it" and thinking WHAT because I loved the thing. But years later and many albums later I can kind of hear how it could have used more development. Still though, this has some of the fastest thrashiest stuff on it. The drumming on a song like "Schism" for example is NUTS. "Finale" has such an odd rhythm, it has to be so tough to play. It's not a perfect album but it still has great stuff on it.
Anthrax is 1 of those bands that's going to live forever in history as 1 of the greatest thrash / metal bands of all time, They're just that good all the way around! From my first time seeing them live in '88 on AMONG THE LIVING Tour to The last time in Nashville at Slayer's Final Tour, A Big 4 show in 2011 in SoCal, They're badass live & You won't see a shitty show from them! Anthrax RULES!
After this one we are heading into the era where I checked out of Anthrax fandom. Didn’t care for POT, didn’t care for the early Bush years (though I was happy Anthrax was still out there playing). I just grew tired of what most metal bands were doing musically post ‘92. Didn’t get back into Anthrax really until “What Doesn’t Die” came out in... 2004?
I was there to see KISS & ANTHRAX in Costa Mesa at the Pacific Amphitheater in 1988, First time seeing Anthrax and that's a show i won't ever forget, Meeting Scott and Frank on the tour bus in the parking lot was fucking killer! They we're both very thankful and humble, Except Frank, Frank was Frank lol NOW GET THE FUCK OUT AND LET THE NEXT PERSON ON THE FUCKIN' BUS, AND THANKS FOR COMING TO THE SHOW! Frank was Frank lol
12:20 Scott Ian: "Iron Maiden had Eddie. Megadeth has Vic Rattlehead. Slayer has the slayer Wehrmacht guy. And we had the Not Man." Wooow that is soo amazingly cool. NOT ‼‼ lol 😁🤪
Never forget how the posers and hypocrites at MTV banned the who cares Wins video even though it was basically the same theme as a Phil Collins track that was played nonstop all day and every day.
In living colour and Anthrax makes more sense than Metallica and Queensryche. Saw those two in Detroit during and justice. I felt bad for Queensryche, Some dude in the audience spit in Jeff Tates face and they got booed and left the stage abruptly, (in living colour is a great band)
State of euphoria doesn't get enough love.

CHARLIE .... YOUR THE MAN !
Anthrax rules !
this series is quality .
YES!
Next stop: Persistence of time.
Such a great album. My teen years and "pot" are together forever. Best Anthrax-album with an outstanding production.
At this tour I came in contact with you guys! It seems like it was yesterday! Hanx for your art!
State of Euphoria is where I came in; Persistence wasn’t out yet so I went backwards to the beginning and then forwards with Persistence

Awesome to hear King’s X get referenced in this one! I was hoping Galactic Cowboys would too 😉
Love this album listen to this in my teenage years

This Anthrax cartoon was my favorite T Shirt in the 80's.

seen yall 4x
I always felt like they are the American thrash version on Maiden . The Not man was funny as hell . Didn’t know they had JT wear mask ...funny !!!
I always thought Not was a cover of the NYC Mayhem song as they're pretty much the same.
Loving this series….. hopefully it’ll be released as a DVD/Digital Download.
I'd want the extended interviews with the guests *cough* *Henry Rollins* *cough*

Saw same tour, but where I seen it there was more Queensryche fans than Metallica fans.
Not for me ,but that's how it looked👍
