The Brewers were winning despite leaving base runners in scoring position all season long . They won despite leaving more guy on base than I have ever seen in baseball . It had to break one way or the other and it seems to have broken now in the direction of a team who has almost enough to shock the world this fall. They need one more ACE . They really could use to move Payamps at the deadline too. Will the need in 2024 for Bullpen players Payamps would bring a decent return in trade and would get to stop hurting the Crew so badly if they traded him off while he was still worth something. 2024 is the season where you could make out well on a pitcher like Payamps. GO CREW !

@@TheDarkChambers. NO Slammer Park . Am Fam is and always has been the dumbest name in the NL . It is Miller Park which will ALWAYS be a much more fitting name for a team named the Brewers! The Beer Can and AmFam Field is one of the worst sports stadium names and it represents one of the many reasons MLB Baseball has lost so many fans. I won't ever call this stadium AmFam because it is a dumb name even for a commercialized sport franchise. I believe the true name of this field will come when AmFam gives up their hold on the name of the field when Bob Uecker dies and they permanently rename the Park "Uecker Field" Or "Bob Uecker Stadium" . If you wanna go with Slammerican Field I will consider that much more acceptable than AmFam. I will always believe it to be County Stadium 2 . Milwaukee County Stadium is where the Crew plays ball . Even if it was lost to modernity . So it will be the Stadium with only fan names until they rename it Uecker Field. This IS the house that BOB built no matter who has come through here for players. Bob Uecker is the Brewers heart and soul and will be for decades after Bob kicks the beer bucket someday.
