You can fight the machines with gloves or hammer for blunt dmg. They resist slashing and piercing dmg
Was about to say this. Also, using that corrosive canister on them will weaken them.
omg tysm i climbed all over this mountain n couldnt find it but cleared several other dungeons with robots

No, they are not random. The blue icon placed by me. The yellow icon for the mines or pit will appear when you reach that location.
