I remember I actually wanted to go to El Nath for the snowboots, but ended up in Aquaroad instead. My genius 13 year old brain thought I had to cross the ocean to get there.

Aquaroad wasnt a thing when i was in el-nath. El nath was a place where the then highest levels would hang out and grind. Mainly frequented by god moders that didn't use vacs to grind while staying under the radar. Few people ventured to el nath, and fewer were strong enough to get past the mobs. So it was a perfect hide out. Its also where some of the first hacker hunters originated.
God, I remember when I got stuck around here 'cause of the penguins. I was out of potions and mesos, and think I died around 20 times trying to get back up the tower myself. I don't even remember what class I was, but I do remember eventually having to ask someone (that was clearly busy) to escort me back up the tower to Orbis. I felt so bad for interrupting them, but they did it without hesitation. Acts of kindness like that (that I can remember) are part of the reason MS will forever hold a special place in my heart.
Literally same! This was back in 2009 and I would have been stuck there had it not been for the Cygnus update that transferred my main to Ereve to create a Cygnus Knight. This was at level 2x and I got him to level 200 before the cap was increased to level 250 :)
Yeah, I was level 11 or so and didn't know that Orbis was 20-ish+. Eventually some stranger let me tag along up to the top and I could play the game again.
I lost one of my three character slots for a year to that.

After dodging all those sentinels as a lvl 26 Hunter for 20 floors... I finally made it to El Nath.. just to find out the monsters are even STRONGER (f4)(f7)

@@xshobux The red bean porridge doesn't prevent you from losing HP. The steamed bun does that for half hour iirc.
What does the red bean porridge instead is that it prevents you of dying from cold, you still lose HP until it drops all the way down to 10HP
The background drums give it that MapleStory feel...

The slippery ground here, sliding near El Nath was an interesting experience for me as a kid back in 2008, 2009.
Back in the good ol' days when Orbis and El Nath didn't have a spot on the world map.

I remember when the dropping health would actually matter back then.
Finding those garnets for that Cape of warmness was such a painful task. I remember I had to hunt little cats for like a freaking week or more... And the Oxygen tank was not easy to obtain lol. Then everything's gone.
then they got freakin lazy and didn't fix the right stuff..

***** Still remembered the time where someone threw a tower teleportation scroll, and I was curious so I teleported down there, and got permanently stuck! Had to start a new character for that xD

***** I went to Orbis / El Nath after the job advancement to Cleric and only when i had my healing ability fully upgraded, went to the yeti fields and had some fun. :p

minaly22 Oh i thought you respawned in Orbis, like i said i never got killed by those penguins, well it does make sense, dying in the tower to El Nath makes you respawn in Orbis.

I remember fondly training as a Dragon Knight on YNPs at that sharp cliff pass right before the Dangerous Woods transition. I would see many travelers off as they headed deeper to Zombies or Zakum, clearing a path for them. Those were good times. This OST always reminds me of that. :)

Yup...and now I can knock the sucker out in under a minute without even being funded. I never had a ZHelm until I picked the game up again a few weeks ago.
Hahah same, it didn't feel as enjoyable as I thought it would be, Zakum was such a dream back then..

El Nath was my favourite place to go, used to explore the area with the Werevolves and just slide around with friends and kill Pepes and Jr Yetis...
I remember getting lost when I went exploring beyond Victoria... ended up here couldn't find a way back.

Everyone ended up coming here because of that one lvl20 something quest to Ludi but we all ended up descending orbis tower out of curiosity and got stuck…
It's kind of like Perion... Man the music of exploration is amazing... The wonder of feeling lost and optimistic

Another one that comes to mind is Sleepywood. I had to rescue the noobs I took under my wing from there all the time. Some more than once. 😏

2차 스피어맨과 3차 용기사 스레셔 스킬 차이가 어마 어마, 찾아보니 지금은 용기사가 아니라 버서커라고 하네요, 스킬 개편이 됐는데 이미지 이펙트가 이전게 훠얼씬 나았던걸로

Ene No. 6 Most of the music titles can be found in the game data. You'd need to use some type of program that can read the game's files, like MapleDump.

am i the only one? i sent my 10lvl warrior to do the teleport scroll quest daily, meanwhile i use my priest to farm the shell and transfer it by throwing onto the floor, those days the tele scroll is worth 1
