This was the best repair video I have seen in a long time. Clear approach by a talented professional as he walked through the potential causes and attacked each with the easier first. I have seen too many mechanics swap out the ignition module only to realize it was a bad spark plug. Keep up the great work as your customers benefit every day.

@nery878 it's possible!
Hey bro , I have that 2005 Chevy Silverado 1500 and my horn works sometimes? I have been wondering 💭 what’s up with my horn some time’s it works and then some time it don’t what up with that would you know???
Tom Mack you might have a sticking horn relay!
@@KITS_Auto_and_Truck_Repair oh wow, never thought 💭 that would or could happen, how do I check, I meter . Would that work or this here another way to check it?? I have no power to horn fuse
when I put 12 volts to fuse horn works constantly. have changed relay .no power to horn fuse.
@StanHartwick-cr4yr make sure your fuse box is good!
Ello, how to I get that electronic car manual
@kasujjajoeph5233 Hello! you can get these diagrams from mitcchell prodemand!
The customer will be happy because the horn works, but he will also be upset because the airbag light stays on. Never disconnect the airbag without first disconnecting the battery, or you will have a red light on your instrument cluster. 😅
@magdalenoz3339 you're right about disconnect the battery first for safety purposes but if the light stays on after reinstalling the horn pad it means you had a problem in the airbag system! the light didn't stay on when I fixed this van!
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Aymen Mohamed Thank you!
😊
@dirtyroofer3678 Thanks
What year truck?
You could have saved time by first seeing if the keyfob lock switch would cause the horn to beep.
And your title is misleading. This vehicle has a horn ring, it does not go through the clockspring. look at your schematic.
@RobertTuck-vo8cw I believe this was a 2008 truck if I remember correctly, I like your suggestion but the key fob didn't work on this truck!
Very well done, thanks
