I found this video while searching for a video on installing an HID kit and I've watched this video before watching the installation video which came before, and prompted this video. I subscribed based on this video and now will go watch your installation video. What a cool, level headed, helpful guy. I have not yet read any of the comments on the installation video but obviously I have an idea what those comments are and how you have addressed them already. Peace and thanks.
I appreciate the fact that you made a reasonable argument and stayed away from name calling. Thanks for your comments and input. They are both appreciated.
Eric! you are doing a great job with your car how to videos, I have learned so much from watching them, keep up the good work and as for the responds to your haters! I couldn't have said it better
Eric, forget what those people said, i thought your installation video was the best one i have seen so far on UA-cam and i will use it as a guide when doing my install. Thank you for making your videos and plz continue to make them. Good man
You know, its funny. I installed 6000K HIDs in my (now dead) Buick Regal on the Low Beam. Never aimed the headlights, And I never really had people point their High Beams at me. Maybe one, or two but never 5 in one night. I've seen people with these retrofits, never noticed it blinding me either. Now the ACTUAL pojectors? Heck yes, I cant begin to tell you how many times I'm blinded by BMWs, Mercedes or any other stupid car with those projectors.
amen. I live off a rolling road in pitch black rural area. when followed by the above mentioned luxury vehickles(sic, rural area, get it?) I am temporarily blinded till i tip my mirror down!
I’m thinking about getting either 4300K or 5000K for my Buick. And yeah, those BMWs drive me crazy. I’m hoping my 4300Ks won’t be too bad. I’m also getting new housings that work better with HIDs.
Hey Eric, I watch a lot of your videos and I love it, mainly because you do things where many professionals out there would do and your explanations are good and detailed. I'm a headlight person too. I do headlights retrofit as part time and read a lot about headlights for the pass whole year. I'm still learning and I know some headlight fellas can be a little harsh sometimes. We have forums and fb groups which we only talk only about headlights related stuffs. We try to educate those new comers but sometimes people just think 8000k is so cool I'm gonna put in my halogen reflector and blind everyone and that annoys us. You however give very good explanation on your installation and we do appreciate it. There is actually HID on reflector housing that comes factory fitted which is legal and safe to the other motorists. Don't get me wrong. I always prefer HID on projector, but usually people out there just plug and play HID on their ride and did not made proper adjustment like you did, and that really annoys everyone. Anyhow, you did a great job there Eric and I'll keep supporting your videos. Cheers!
Most of the time your getting flashed because you have hid's. Not because the driver is being blinded. I am yet to see someone sent careening into a ditch because they were blinded by my lights. I've seen projectors and reflector housings with hids. I have them in stock housings. Projectors are more blinding than reflectors. Most of the time your on a hill and the cutoff rises up in peoples faces anyways. And that's a concentrated beam. I could take a wild guess who ever bitches about these being bright do not own a set themselves and therefore do not carry a valid opinion in my eyes. The beam can be aimed in a reflector housing just as in a projector.
Yep as long as you know what your doing you'll be fine. The only problem is these light are very popular and everyone buys them. So you get some stupid kid in high school who had his mom buy hid and projectors for his Honda now he thinks he's an expert on hid's.

Very informative, correct, and useful. Addressed a lot of confusion for HID light conversion kit. 2 key points that I almost miss when choosing/installing HID are (1) adjust light (2) in foggy or snowing day, lower Kelvin temperature light works better (closer to 5,000K). Your videos is always my favorite. I have been a Japanese car DIY for 10 years to repair my own family's car, and always refers to your video. Thanks a lot
eric, i have been a mechanic for a long time now. every time i watch your videos i learn something new. all the car enthusiasts, mechanics and myself really appreciate what you do. dont worry about the haters... nobody is perfect
You're a stand up guy and by far the best mechanic vid maker on the Tube.I may not have fully understood the lingo involving HID Headlights but your step by step installation and tips were invaluable to me.
I was the one who commented about the rain. I'm glad you got some experience with it. I've been installing these kits since 2001. They all have the same issue with Kelvin temperature and rain. You did a great install and very informative video. Also remember that the first HID systems were installed on reflective housings. Sure the tech has progressed, but that doesn't make the reflector any less useful.
Eric, don't ever, ever, ever, ever let the haters get ya down!... I don't see them making videos... Nothing but respect for you! I did my first head gasket replacement because you taught me how to clean up, oil, and torque down head bolts. Keep it up!... you're making a difference!
Nevermind those ppl Eric, we know how you are honest and real man, who following you on this channel and website. You helping ppl teaching your job and spending your time for us. I learned a lot from you and your vids. Thanks.
Great video Eric! I had been thinking about installing a HID kit in my Honda Accord but had heard the negative comments about doing this. Hadn't seen your videos on this when you made them, but your my "go to guy" for car info so I did a search and found your RE: video on the subject. Answered all my questions! Also great comment on when pointing a finger at someone you still have three pointing back at yourself! SO many people think the anonymity of the internet allows them to be as nasty as they want. They try to degrade others in a vain effort to make them feel better about themselves; and all they end up doing is degrading themselves!
Oh, and thanks to you, I have ordered a 6000K HID kit for my wife's fog lights on her 01 Mazda Millenia. And seeing that all of her lights are projector housings, I will be converting all her lights to HID, low beam first, then high beam. So thank you ERIC!
As a fellow mechanic I have alot of respect for you Eric, you aren't hard headed and can admit you made a mistake. You are trying to help others out there who may be having issues or want to learn. Or even people like me who just like the knowledge and seeing others experiences. It sad that you had to make a video to justify your other video. True mechanics will help each others and share their knowledge. You know what I mean. Keep up the awesome work. Stay dirty
Eric.I have been wrenchin' on my own stuff forty of my fifty three years.I have yet to watch any of your videos and not learn something. From learning a particular repair to how to remove a particular part and the best tools to use.(Yes.You can teach an old grease monkey a new trick). You have got me through some tough spots. Thanks a whole bunch for the greatness you provide every week. You are a class act all the way.Vince.
Eric, let the haters hate, they always did and always will. The world can't exist without hate (unfortunately). But your work is epic. I don't say you are the best mechanic in the world- I can't know that obviously, for 2 reasons: 1. I don't understand much of car repairs 2. I dont't know every mechanic. But I am 99.9% sure that there is no other like you from the point of view - a person who helps and shares what he can do with other people, and you save us, the viewers, a lot of money and trouble (regarding to having troubles with bad mechanics who charge you and break your car). Again haters will say, you do it only for the wining money from your channel. Well, first you have to earn something from what you do- you put a lot of efford and invest much time in these clips. Second, most of your very helpful videos are for free (for us) so this is a win-win situation ... and much more can be said but I think i made my point. Keep the good and helpful videos. P.S. Sorry, for my english - Greetings from Bulgaria!
Incredible; your patience, knowledge, skill, threshold and way of life. Saw the previous video and I have to say my admiration for you has always been very high not only due to your mechanical skills but your character. Well done Eric, I hope you continue to post videos regardless of what people do or say.
Excellent follow up Eric. You answered several questions for me about the viability of HID - HOWEVER - what about HID bulb life? And how do these compare to the LED's you installed in your Odyssey performance wise?
The fact that this video is your most controversial is a good thing because your so calm and well spoken all the time. I must say i have seen pretty much all your videos and you definitely invest in your viewers even going as far as buying new cameras for viewer pleasure. Don't listen to these people who don't benefit from a good video designed to teach us the basics so we can STAY DIRTY! What ever you do keep making videos (P.S. do an aftermarket suspension install video!!!)
Eric you are the socially smartest mechanic I've ever met. Your channel is the best of my subscriptions. Thank you for sharing your knowlege at no cost, a lot of people really apreciate it.
Great RE video Eric. You are so right about the importance of properly aiming the headlights after installing the HID kit. I forgot to aim mine the first time I installed HIDs in reflector housings and got flashed by on-coming drivers quite a bit on the first drive out. The next day I adjusted them properly and since then I've never been flashed again.
Thanks for the follow up video, I want to install an HID kit on the fog lights for my Volvo XC70. The information that you have provided in this video is very helpful in selecting the best kit; especially the bulb selection. I notice that you have a video for fog lamp conversion so I'll be watching that too.
Eric, you've helped out me personally immensely in the maintenance of my own car!! And thousands of others can vouch for this! Ignore those who portray their miserable lives through antagonistic comments. We outnumber the trolls 100-1.
Good video! I hate poorly installed HID kits that blind people, but this is obviously installed properly and adjusted! The reason these kits are known for blinding people is that they are usually installed by people that don't know how to properly adjust the lights afterwards. Keep doing your thing Eric! Love your videos, helped me out a lot
Great Re: video. I had a few of the concerns others had commented about, but you did a nice job addressing those. An issue I had read with respect to putting HIDs in any halogen housing, including projectors, is that the light from the bulb emanates from a slightly different spot. This can affect the focus of the reflections. However, when I checked out this kit an the website, I read it uses that adapter to position the bulb in such a way that the source is in the same location. Good kit!
Hi Eric, I am 1 of your many subscriber from outside US, and I found your videos are very informative and useful for a DIY automotive enthusiast like me, and i really hope you keep making videos like you already did, best wishes for you from Indonesia!
Brother let me know if you got that fog kit, Ill send one just because of all the help you channels given me. Cant believe you got so much guff over headlights. Glad I watched this and I mistakenly came here instead of the install first. You handled it like a pro & gave me some food for thought before I purchase my kit. As always thumbs up
Dear Erik , I love your videos and honesty. Be sure that whomever through non ethical or hurting comments are either dregs kind of people filled with envy , or most probably a cheater auto mechanics, electricians, whatever in the automotive field who do not want you to enlighten the people. I cant stress enough that seeing your videos gives me a great cheer. Thank you.
Eric, you are the best. No one is perfect and you are doing a great job helping us out by educating us and hence saving us money by DIY and I commend you for this good service you are doing. To those who are finding fault in Eric's selfless good work. Please know that no one is perfect and at the least see that he has good intentions which make the errors if any trivial. Lets cheer him up for the good work and thank you Eric keep up the good work
Absolutely fantastic job Eric. A lot of people get annoyed by the scatter pattern because some other HID's that aren't bi-xenon or h4 bulbs are installed without the headlight protector/cover. That can cause a much worse scatter pattern but with that cover it's absolutely fine. I have a similar install with crystal white (6000k i believe) bulbs, aimed slightly lower than normal and bi-xenon with the protector/cover. Gives much better illumination but doesn't blind oncoming traffic, never flashed
I think you do great things for all those DIY people. Don't pay any attention to those who feel like there way is the only and right way on doing things. Keep up the good work and supporting this community.
Very helpful video.. is the "retainer" that prevents light from bouncing around everywhere included in this particular kit? If anyone knows, please help! And if it isn't... where can I get one? Thanks so much all
Your work ethics are one of a kind... there are just very few people who would be willing to show there work in helping others is just amazing!!! I live in Houston, Texas and I have 8k HID's for the low and 3,000k for the fogs on all 3 vehicles and pretty much everyone has HIDs here. So far no problems at all with other drivers. I have to say HID's are best in projectors then halogen housing but that's my opinion.
I was one of the people who questioned the logic of this installation, but I did it in a polite manner and said I looked forward to Eric's response. Thanks for the response Eric. I still do not agree with the installation, but appreciate your response. Personally, I enjoy your videos very much and I'll apologize for the morons who left mean, attacking comments on your video. Keep up the great work.
All these ppl that have negative comments have nothing better to do and have not life. I am not an ASE certified mechanic but i have a great passion for working on cars and YOU have posted many things that i have never thought about doing especially because i do things on my own. So for that i say THANK YOU and keep posting!!!!!!!
Great job Eric you rock....i'm from the Caribbean and you're my number one car guy in youtube. Your videos help me alot as a young mechanic and you are a gentleman. Screw what people say you would always be great in my book.
I think many of us learned something new about kelvins and how it relates to light from this video. Thank you ETCG! Some of us need to learn how to disagree without being offensive. It is possible to point out an incorrect fact without attacking someone. You have also demonstrated that skill. Your channel is an asset to many. You should be proud of the work you are doing.
You are one of the few youtubers that i look forward watching what you make. Even though i dont drive any of the cars you fix. I love your vids keep it up please!
I commend you Eric on standing by your install of HID kit. The people who bash the kits do so on forum after forum thinking that everyone who does this are 18 year old Civic drivers who slap in HID kits without aiming them. Keep up the great vids, Eric.
another great detailed video, I am always amazed by watching your videos how you seem to remain calm and have not thrown one single tool across the room all while filming what you are doing, Amazing keep up the great detailed videos.
Eric that's one thing I respect about you. You own up to your mistakes and if you fell that you didn't make a mistake you show WHY you feel that. Also, I respect that you say what's on your mind. I've been watching your videos for about two years and I've learned a lot. And I'm sure a lot of others have as well. Stay Dirty my friend!
I'v been a sub for about 2 months now and iv gotta say, all the video's iv watch so far from Eric, have been so helpful in fixing my old 1999 Hyundai Accent 1.3 . Eric keep up the good work man and P.S I'm watching all the way from South Africa and all you have shown me has helped me a lot. Thanks again keep up the good work !!!!!
how eric takes his own time to make these "RE" videos is proof that he sincerely cares about his fans and the knowledge he puts out there. Eric you need to be able to recognize constructive criticism and stupid people that are just expressing their uncontrolled jealousy. I hate to see you beating yourself up because these haters got the best out of you. just ignore. with fame and fortunate, jealousy ALWAYS follows! keep doing what you're doing and don't stop doing it!!!!
Ignore the haters Eric, your video on replacing the rack and pinion on a honda civic saved me tons of time and money, i almost took mine to a shop! People have opinions, most keep them to themselves while others chomp at the bit to tell you. When i run into people who believe thier way is the only way i simply say ok and go about my life. Your videos are a valuable tool for the backyard mechanic PLEASE keep them coming for as long as you can and your true fans will continue to watch. THANKS!
Eric keep it up. Your detailed videos are great for younger newbies like me and I look forward to them. UA-cam is filled with people who make life harder than it should be.
People are gonna hate, that's life online... ignore 'em, or at least don't stress. The rest of us appreciate the instruction and information you put out there. For me, the upside of your frustration with the negative comments is that I got a lot more useful and valuable info out of your response, so thank you for posting that!
Old video but I have been told by lighting specialists that HID and now LED should never be installed in reflector housing only projector but you covered that nicely. Do a video of LED headlamps, I just did this and they are amazing. perfectly focued white light at 5500 kelvins 2500 lumins per bulb.
Eric, I recently installed 5k HIDs on my car and I must say they are good in inclement weather along with putting out a good color/illumination balance. However, if you decide to get a fog lamp kit, go with 3k bulbs for the fog lamps. They put out a pure yellow light that works the best for cutting through rain, fog, and snow.
I have to congratulate you on this video response. You are a very civilized and intelligent person with great character. I haven't noticed the cover-plate and that can make all the difference. All the kits I saw here in Portugal don't use that and just scatter light blinding all the incoming drivers. One important thing you forgot to say is that the light output is measured in lumen and the higher the kelvin, the less the lumen(light quantity) output. Continue the excellent work!
Hi Eric, I just want you to know i really enjoy and learned a lot from your videos. I know in life no matter what you do, there will be someone out there try to judge you, don't mind them, keep up with your videos and like you always said ( stay dirty) Thanks
I love the videos and I think you're doing a great job. It's always awesome when somebody tells everybody. They made a mistake and why. The other thing you do great is you don't put people down. I have learned a lot about your videos and I'm 65 years old. Keep it up
I know the kelvin scale was used wrong, but c'mon people, the install is the same, so the guts of the video aren't affected. The rest of the negative responses seemed like misunderstandings to me, and I think you explained things pretty good. I'm glad you corrected yourself and I'm impressed at the firm but polite stand you took against the negativity and drama, WELL DONE SIR!
Eric, if you have problems with the 8000K bulb when it comes in rain/fog. I suggest the 6000K, my friend actually use this type and it is more almost like daylight, but with a very very slight tint of blue but mostly white. I myself have HID headlights and fogs, 8000K and 3000K respectively on my RSX and I love them. Oh and thanks for your very informative videos. Keep it up Eric.
Don't listen to those idiots that don't have enough self-esteem. They have to feel superior, so don't you take it personally. I love your videos and always learn tons. Keep up the great work...
I'm not saying that you got all of this wrong, but I wanted to take a moment to point out that most things glow based on their temperature, so there is that relation, but that often there is more to the story. Keep up the good work.
Hey Eric great Vid!- just wanted to add some fyi: Not all HIDs use projectors - for instance the altima uses a factory xenon system which incorperates reflector bowls. Also, not all projectors properly project a xenon bulb. While a halogen re/pro assembly is designed to handle the rectangular filament, the xenon re/pro is designed to handle the circular xenon capsule. This is where scattered light comes from!
I hate that some people questioned/bashed you. I subscribed after doing a search for how to perform a parasitic draw test. You are very intelligent, professional, articulate, accomplished and smrt :) I trust your instructions. They are pretenders and haters and if you pumped out a vid about changing a johnson rod they would be asking if it added more hp. Keep up the GREAT work.
Good on you Eric. In your last video i made a comment that people make the mistake of buying higher kelvin bulbs in the belief that it translates to more light on the road. You said yourself, as a great example might i add, that in rainy or foggy weather, it produces a lot more glare. If anything i would just change your bulbs for a lower kelvin variant and you'll be fine. Oh, ignore the haters my friend. You do your industry a great service and help novices like myself in turn. Thank you.
I don't get all the haters, all the cars that Eric works I probably won't be working in my lifetime, however his methodology has worked on many of the cars I have worked on(european cars, I live in the UK, we drive Peugeots, Fiats, Vauxhalls and Fords albeit most of them aren't sold in the US, however a lot of the Vauxhall cars I work on are rebranded in the US as Chevys or other GM brands) so keep up the good work Eric you've helped me a bunch with understanding cars...
I put 6000k kit on my truck and they work and look great. I love them... It is a full size 4x4 with 33" tires, so it sits high, the only time I get bright lighted is from very small or lowered cars and it is no more than I was used to with the regular halogens.
Lol, i just continued your video which i had paused at 13:55. You then went on to mention that you were thinking of changing the bulbs to the 5300K type. Anyway, keep up the good work my friend.
After several color testing on my hid kit. It seems that the best color for wet roads (rair ) it has been 4300k, unfortunately you loose alot of the blue hue most people are after. I also realized that the manufacturer and design (ac or dc current ) also have great effect on your color and light output. Hope this helps.
I appreciate your candor, and have been enjoying your videos. You have always had the humility to admit your gaffes. I would hope that folks would pay attention to what is in videos, print, or whatever medium, before writing a denouncing diatribe. Kudos to you, and thank you for posting this video. It's all in how you aim those lights. I've been blinded by all colors when they are poorly aimed. If you can see better, go for it. I will keep the stock lights in my civic, though. Cheers
Eric, I didn't read any of the comments in the last video or this video. One thing I wanted to say, and this is true with business conversations, is that peoples tones and understandings seem to change when they write them than when they verbally say them in a bi-directional communication so not to speak for those people but usually when you read our comments they may seem harsher than they are attended. Other than that the lights look great and your REsponse has a lot of informative information
Eric I think your a great role model for all us to see. You handled this very well and your right, your car, your decision. Subbed and honestly the Original HID installation video wasn't really thought much of. I just looked at it as a cool installation and a nice addition to your vehicle. Good job Eric and stay dirty.
Eric, your videos are AWESOME! Please continue making them. I really enjoyed this "RE" video as well as all of the videos you put out. Very reasonable and thorough in your explanations. If I had the money, I'd send you the fog lights for the hell of it. Stay Dirty.
Eric your videos are great, please don't ever let narrow minded people bother you. Your true fan-base really appreciates all the effort and time you put into every video.
Been watching your vids for years and always found them useful and interesting. Why is it that you do videos in order to support the learning of others which I feel is a selfless act and there are these individuals who seem to have nothing better to do or need to stroke their own egos and superior intelligence by having a go at people who's only interest is to help others. I do have concerns about badly fitted lights especially here in the UK where there seems to have been a selfish shift in drivers to a sod you attitude, however if lights are fitted correctly and respectfully then I have no issues. Keep going mate Cheers from the UK
Great RE: video Eric, Your channels are among my favorites on UA-cam alongside Drive, and EVO. All of your subscibers(including myself) know that you(like us) are not perfect, but you sure know a whole hell of alot more then most of us! Keep the videos coming! :)
It's truly sad when people who have the same passion for maintaining their vehicles and the automotive industry in general resort to inappropriate commenting to make their points. Kinda defeats the point of sharing as a group. I'm glad I didn't comment and to my way of thinking, the video was self explanatory. There is always the links if there was any residual questions. If there was still any questions, there is google. Thanks for the response Eric. It was was fitting for the issues at hand.
Hey Eric, thanks for all the tech tips. I work on cars as a hobby and to save a few bucks. I've put more of your tips to work than I can count on my 92 Toyota pickup, my sister's '10 Civic, my mom's 08 Sebring and I think Motorfiend's single beam kit might be the solution I've been looking for regarding the weak sauce OEM fog lights on my 04 Mustang GT. Also, your video on captive rotors and the one on how to break the rotor screws loose really saved me when I thought I'd gotten in over my head!
Also, Your video inspired me to install a set of HID lights in my wife's car. Though they were advertised as 5000k, they looked more like 8,000k-10,000k. I quickly removed them. I'm not ordering a set from Motorfiend as the kit you installed looks like a quality kit. Thanks!
Good point that you mentioned the problem with the rainy or foggy weather :) Missed that part in the first video and really wondered why you have chosen the blue colour HID Kits.
Hey eric, I have been told with a 35watt balast 5000k will put out most "lumens" so that's what I'm running and that 6000k with 55 watts will burn just like 35w 5000k. By the way 35 watt is more than enough here in mass the beam should be pointing no more than 20 feet ahead... keep posting your the man
DON'T let negativity get to you Eric :) I absolutely LOVE your videos and watch them as soon as they "air" every time. And, I've learned a lot from the various videos which gives one some confidence when attempting to do some repairs eplacements myself :) Keep on doing your thing! Remi from Norway :)
You are totally right and the people who comment about this in the other video has no experience about HID kits. You mention a minor issue when is raining out, my solution; do the same as manufacturers doing.. they place HID and add yellow hallogen or bulbs to contrast and correct that issue. I installed a 6000k in a MDX 2001 and add yellow bulbs. check the new MDX and you'll notice what I'm talking about. One more thing, try to take a look to the Acura TL 1999, they come with a 4300k.
When I watched the video I wondered about the "exhaust" but I figured you were more familiar with that vehicle than I am. I do know that my car has exhaust in the front and the back and the intake is on top. I actually like that HID kit. They really put some thought into it when they made it.
I'm sure no matter what you do you'll have the potential to blind oncoming traffic cause of the type of bulb. Even vehicles with Factory HID headlights blind oncoming traffic cause it's a brighter bulb, and not all vehicles have that projector housing and just use standard headlight housing. But the projection headlight housings do add character to a vehicle and I think they look awesome. Especially the Angel Eyes HID headlight housings and bulbs. Some newer vehicles have that dedicated housing, some don't. It really depends on the vehicle, or if the owner wants to spend more money on a different headlight housing and assembly, so just a thought. I like the look of the projector housing. Great video, keep up the good work. Thanks for info on HID's
Hey Eric! I just wanted to say I completely agree with you people have no right to be rude towards you! Your videos are great they always keep me entertained even if I don't need to know about a car you are working on. I also wanted to thank you for you little tips and personal tools ideas for example that soldering wire holding clip your videos make life in the garage easier and a night at home more enjoyable!
Amen Brother!!! I love the videos, keep them coming. I put a HID kit in my 2004 Durango. I love it, but it has one problem. When I turn the head lights off, they stay on. They will shut off about 30 seconds after I turn off the vehicle, exit and lock it. Any clues???
"That's an intake manifold." I lol'd
I found this video while searching for a video on installing an HID kit and I've watched this video before watching the installation video which came before, and prompted this video. I subscribed based on this video and now will go watch your installation video. What a cool, level headed, helpful guy. I have not yet read any of the comments on the installation video but obviously I have an idea what those comments are and how you have addressed them already. Peace and thanks.
Cool, level headed, and helpful aren't the same as intelligent and knowledgeable in this case then.
This guy is a fuckin idiot putting an HID bulb in a halogen housing. Guess you morons stick together.
Well said Eric. You just earned another sub. Congrats on being an adult about the situation.
Never aimed the headlights, And I never really had people point their High Beams at me.
So you get some stupid kid in high school who had his mom buy hid and projectors for his Honda now he thinks he's an expert on hid's.
wow, you actually believe what you just said?
Yes, you disagree? care to give a supporting argument? Are you capable?

This is a prime example of why I go out of my way to use your information Videos, not to mention have tons of respect for you Eric. Love you man!!!!!!
I don't say you are the best mechanic in the world- I can't know that obviously, for 2 reasons:
1. I don't understand much of car repairs
I LOVE YOU FOR POINTING OUT THAT THAT WAS THE INTAKE MANIFOLD. I JUST DIED LAUGHING.
lol Honda engines run counter clockwise if i remember from having an 87 prelude si.... so yeah the intake is in the front
I was wondering where I could purchase a HID reflector which prevented the flood light. Thank you for the video.
I have 6k HIDs and they preform better than 8ks on rainy days. I'm satisfied with them so far. Keep up the good work Eric!
You are perhaps the best and most 'real' internet presenter getting around, literally you're brilliant! Thanks for all the mechanical knowledge! :)
I think there is a lot of people on here who don't comment, don't hate, just sit back and enjoy your videos. I know I do. Thanks a lot Eric
THANKS!
Not since your "Regular Oil vs Synthetic Oil" video have you riled up the viewership so. Love the videos. Keep them coming.
You have a ton of folks that enjoy your videos and don't comment. Keep up the good work! I try to give you a thumbs up every time.
I liked the tape measure bit. Never heard it put that way "point the finger, but there are three pointing back at you". Good for you Eric!!
I have just been schooled in how to deal with aggression/anger in a constructive and mature manner. Keep the videos coming, friend.
I was amazed to read the comments made after your first video, some of those "
Eric, if you have problems with the 8000K bulb when it comes in rain/fog.
I have learnt so much from watching your videos over the past few years, you are an inspiration to us all. Keep the vids coming! :)
I was wondering how you would respond to the train wreck in your original video comment section, and you have delivered, sir. You have delivered.
This is why I'm subbed to ETCG! He reads the comments and explains things. He accepts when he's wrong and explains if he's right.
Putting HIDs in my 04 Sebring coupe, your vid is what I needed. Thank you.
By the way 35 watt is more than enough here in mass the beam should be pointing no more than 20 feet ahead... keep posting your the man
DON'T let negativity get to you Eric :)
I absolutely LOVE your videos and watch them as soon as they "air" every time.
And, I've learned a lot from the various videos which gives one some confidence when attempting to do some repairs
eplacements myself :)
Keep on doing your thing!
Remi from Norway :)
Eric have a very good intention posting his video and that's to help us free of charge. Eric keep up the good work.
