I've seen this video literally hundreds of times, and it NEVER fails to amaze me! Stevie was simply the best!
Agreed, I stop and watch every new reqctor💯
He is truly one of the only artists that I can literally listen to all day long! ❤❤✌️
My favorite song by anyone is his version of Little Wing. The only song that I recommend is the studio version. Probably because that's what I'm used, but i like it better. ❤
The G.O.A.T. was a pure showman no doubt, RIP Stevie keep playing for the Angels...
This is a legendary performance by SRV at the El Macombo in Toronto Canada
Ain't Going To Give Up On Love is a good one for Stevie.
Love ,love, love !! Great reaction !! I kinda got hot too, and I've seen the video a hundred times !!
It was a lot of fun listening to this song!!!🔥❤️🤘
Check out Mary had a little lamb. Also little wing too
Jimi said he was better then him. ❤❤❤❤ He was. ❤❤❤❤ He's also my brother.❤❤
The version of voodoo child in this El mocambo concert is better than the voodoo child version of the Austin City limits show. My opinion
tin pan alley with johnny copland
Love this react. If you’re sweating. Then you are feeling it correctly. This is akin to watching Michelangelo painting the Sistine chapel or carving the pieta. Just. Mastery.
Omg amazing song🎶🥰
Very interesting comment
Her reaction is great she's totally into Stevie's playing
Nice analogy. ❤️❤️✌️
Life without you live at the Capital Theater and Tin Pan Alley with Johnny Copeland and his guitar sound check where he is wearing a leopard coat
I always love to see how long it takes for a new listener to say" Oh yeah, C'mon now". Everyone always says it on the first time hearing SRV.
We are soo lucky to have these vids and his music which stand as a testament to this man's abilities...his band is an integral support to all this fine music too... Hats off to them as well...Ty guys
IMO the best slow blues guitar performance ever recorded.
How bout the best performance ever?
Absolutely!!!
One of the amazing things about Stevie's playing is how there were no "filler" or "place-keeper" notes. Every sound that came from his guitar was a part of the conversation he was having with his instrument and his audience. Truly one of a kind.
And he never played the same song the same way twice. King of improv
SRV ~ 🎸🐐 The goatiest goat in all of goatness
Suggestions for the pretty lady? Where do I begin? For another deeply soulful one, I suggest:
**Leave My Girl Alone at Austin City Limits 1989**
Thank you, will have to check it out!!!🙌🏾🥰
He could tune his guitar during a song and not skip a best
Stevie’s life was ended right after his last concert with Eric Clapton in 1990 in a tragic helicopter crash at the age of 35. One of his best songs he wrote for his friend who passed away was called “Life Without You” 1985 Capitol Theater where he gives a beautiful speech which resonates today more than ever. Also, please check out his 1989 Austin city limits concert “Look at Little Sister” guitar swap. That dude could change a guitar faster than NASCAR can change tires. GREATEST GUITARIST EVER!! SRV
I was at Stevie Ray Vaughn's last concert the night his helicopter crashed after the show at Alpine Valley, Wisconsin. The next morning when I heard the horrible news was one of the saddest days of my life. The lineup was Eric Clapton, SRV, Robert Cray and Buddy Guy. RIP SRV!🎸🎵🎶🎵
I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this reaction to my main man and GOAT....SRV!!!
His live performances are ALWAYS better than the studio versions!!! I can't say that for most artists!!!
Another Jimi Hendrix inspired song by SRV is "Testify" (from this same concert) which is an Isley Brothers song with Jimi on guitar!!! The song opens up the El Mocambo concert!!! PLEASE check it out!!!
For a heartfelt soulful SRV song I'd say Life Without You.
Great choice and may I please offer this live performance. SRV actually chipped his tooth during this performance:
Stevie Ray Vaughan - Life Without You - 9/21/1985 - Capitol Theatre, Passaic, NJ
ua-cam.com/video/DQ4REYdCkTw/v-deo.html
Omg you know how big of a Stevie Ray Vaughan fan I am for over 40 years and I've been watching reactions of Stevie Ray for 3 yrs.I by far loved this reaction more than all the reactors I've seen I absolutely loved it. Thanks for introducing her to the one and only GOAT STEVIE RAY VAUGHAN
Oh wow thanks
I love srv. He was right up there with b.b. king in my opinion. When he plays oh he plays his soul out. That feeling you get when he plays is almost like getting touched by the holy ghost.
What i really like about this video is this queens reaction to listening to him for the first time. Right out the gate she got that instant stink face it was that good. Then when things got real heavy. Then that sou.d just started making sweet love with her soul. I even felt that. Oh man lord have mercy. Thank y'al for the video. Can't Waite to see more. You gotta check out "pride and joy" and "little wing" by srv.
Thanks again and God bless 😏👍
SRV never played a bad note. Incredible.
Stevie was a true Texas Legend and this is Texas Blues at its best. I was fortunate to have met him a couple of times and have drinks with him. He was one of the most humble guys you will ever meet. You should check out the live performance he did with BB King. RIP Stevie you are missed.
Pride and Joy is a great one to react to.
And the collabs with his mentor Albert King as well.
@@robincochran7369 absolutely!
How fortunate that you met him. I never did. I saw him on the street in NOLA one night but he was with his girlfriend and I didn’t want to bother him. I think his true next level-greatness was because he was so humble. His playing respected all the great blues musicians who came before him.
🎸💯 Those Texas blues children‼🔥
SRV called his guitar "The One"‼🐐
RIP Stevie Ray Vaughan. ❤ 🕊 🙏
Haven't popped in in a little while...hey Biz, you're better looking than I remember you!
With Stevie Ray, it's gotta be live!
Oh, next one gotta be "Tin Pan Alley", live with Johnny Copeland.
When guitars fantasize, they dream of being played by SRV! RIP Stevie!
“Riviera Paradise” or “Lenny” These are 2 songs that you will feel his emotion through his music ♥️🎸🎤 I had these 2 songs on my MP3 player(yes I’m old) during labor with my 2 youngest kids born 91 & 93 ♥️ Then the guitar swap from “Look At Little Sister” is amazing 🎸
He sure can get busy with that guitar ! Anything from SRV is good . Did anyone see him in Scorpins " Wind of Change " reaction you did ? Walkin with his band ax over his shoulder .🙏
Gotta have her watch Chicago 25 or 6 to 4 live. That version from ‘71 is just awesome to watch. And yes. Voodoo Chile is the next one she should see
Voodoo Child 1989 Austin shows Stevie healthy and happy and playing his best.
Yup, 25 or 6 to 4 from Tanglewood is super dope...
EVERYONE OVERLOOKS THIS ONE, BIG MISTSKE!!! AUSTIN CITY LIMITS 1989...LEAVE MY LITTLE GIRL ALONE...NASTY!!!
When guitars go to sleep at night they dream of being played by SRV. I like Jimmy he's a great guitarist but SRV can out play him behind his back. Voodoo Child is one to react to. R.I.P. SRV
I Ain't Gone 'N Give Up On Love is a song he wrote and is his best vocal IMO. Gotta watch the live of course. Also, Lenny, which he wrote for his wife Lenora, is a tear-jerking instrumental.
What a delightful and charming lady.
Stevie grabbed her with the first note, and that's how it's meant to be done.
Thank you so much🔥🥰💞
Jimmy Hendrix and stevey have different styles of playing. Both are just amazing guitar 🎸🎶 players
this is the only song thats ever made me cry, and it's just from the way the notes hit me...Recently the second song ever to do that is one of the biggest reaction vids right now..."Hi Ren", is the other one and the words go deep down.
3.14.23. Third rock from the Sun©️ by Stevie Ray Vaughan from the same concert‼️ it’s a Hendrix cover🎸
I never knew about Stevie until a friend in Texas told me to look him up. I’m in the U.K. and didn’t really take that look until perhaps 10 years later. Now I’m a Blues fan and on first listening to the man I kick myself for losing that 10 years of pure class.
I still say to myself Damn, Damn, Damn when I think of how his life was ended and how he got himself off whatever he was using and was absolutely straightened out when it occurred. Damn again, I just can’t help myself thinking how much more he could have contributed to the world had he been alive now. His legacy still thrives though and these “ Reaction “ vids help to rekindle the legacy. I just love to see the youngsters of today ( I’m 70 so everyone’s younger than me ) reacting to his talent. Nuff said.
Stevie was better than Jimi at the blues. Jimi was better at hard rock. BUT, I think that Stevie could cover Jimi better than Jimi could cover Jimi. When Stevie covered a Hendrix song, YOU JUST KNEW it was Stevie playing it. I would have LOVED to have heard Jimi cover of some of Stevie's songs but, sadly that could never happen. AND, you are incorrect about Voodoo Child. Stevie's BEST cover of a Hendrix song is "Little Wing" . . . . .
Stevie always blows my mind. You sure looked like you enjoyed that performance, said it made you hot.😏 He has that effect on the ladies. But, ooh yeah, you gotta check out Voodoo Chile, same show. Also Tin Pan Alley with Johnny Copeland. The stockpile is endless, it seems. Thank God.
Since we lost our Stevie Ray, at least we can still watch him and hear his guitar magic and that warm sizzling voice. Try "Ain't gone and give up on Love", Capital Theater. The "SRV Effect", you become a fan after just one song. ☮️to all.
Hi Biz., SRV is the Best Blues Guitarist ever, no one even close.. ♠W.G.
Check out some early SRV. “You Can Have My Husband” is a fun little song from his early days with double trouble. I don’t know of any live versions of it, but there are some studio versions on line.
Stevie Ray is guaranteed to give you that Stank face, especially the first time you experience his greatness.
"Stevie was an endless, open channel that music just poured out of. He made people who'd never touched a guitar in their life want to pick one up and start playing, and he made those of us who'd played with him live onstage before want to quit."....................Eric Clapton
She's got great taste! How can anyone not like SRV? Keep them coming! A suggestion is Joe Cocker With A Little Help From My Friends for her.
🥰🤘💞
Life Without You live at the Capitol Theater
Great reaction! Loved it!
🙌🏾🥰💞
He was sent from the heavens for us to enjoy. Music of the Angels
I got to see him live and you are absolutely 100%, I got tears runnning down my face.
Walking the tight rope great song
Such an indelible contribution to the artform. "SPPIRITUAL ATUNEMENT TO THE BONE". R.I.P.
Another home run Biz.
🙌🏿🙌🏿
You might try to look at little sister live with Jeff Healey. Jeff Bailey is another one you need to see live and you'll see why when you see the performance Jeff is another one to see live. You might try... see the light on David Letterman live
Another one you may like is, Jeff Healey, "See the Light"... 1988 Night Music...
Love your sincere reaction. SRV makes one hot, nothing wrong with that, you are feeling it!
Voodoo Chile is a great Hendrix cover. Pride and Joy, Rivera Paradise, Little Wing. Or here is one that is maybe a little different. SRV sound check he does right off in the morning straight out of bed.
This song right here❤️🔥
In other reactors' videos of this performance, I've spoken of the classic southern Black blues migrating to England and Europe where the music was heartily and lovingly received; the Black blues -- St. Louis style, Texas style, Chicago style, all forms -- fostered the British invasion of America in the 1960s, with John Mayall, The Animals, The Rolling Stones, and so many other bands who brought the ELECTRIFIED BLUES to the states from whence the "infant," raw, original Blues came. HOWEVER, my thinking has changed a bit due to SRV's and other modern blues bands performances -- SOME BLUES NEVER LEFT THE U.S.! They simmered here for 60 years or more and weren't necessarily REBORN, but they have certainly MATURED!!!
I’m very happy to see, watchbiz Matic’s 8:20 , other half react. Now I’m going to request some “Kinda, romantic/chick” tunes.
Let’s start with “You Take My Breath Away” LIVE by Queen. ❤
Well, there were an awful lot great blues guitarists over the decades, and Stevie Ray is the best one I've ever heard. And I heard 'em all.
Stevie never did a bad concert that I've listened to, yet he went absolutely ballistic at the La Mocambo!
He never did a better rendition of Texas Flood before or since this concert. Which is ironic, because here, Stevie was at the height of his active cocaine and alcohol addiction.
And it shows in his semi-coherent vocals, his excessive drug sweating, but definitely not in his guitar playing, which was simply other-worldly at the La Mocambo!
Stevie's performances improved a lot once he sobered up for good, but his guitar playing kicked down a half a notch, in my opinion.
I’d love to see you guys react to two Stevie videos back to back in one reaction: his official video of his cover of Superstition, and a live performance of Stevie Wonder & Stevie Ray Vaughan playing Superstition together
Stevia Ray said he didn’t play guitar with finesse, but played like he was breaking out of jail lol
This was packing an entire show into one song.
Tin Pan Alley with Johnny Copeland is one of his greatest performances ♡♡♡♡♡
Great reaction!!! Stevie got her HoTT...lol....💥🌹
I was having a good time!!!🔥😅🔥🥰
One SRV song that’s underrated: “Willie The Wimp” (IMHO)
Great song I also like the original version by Bill Carter
I have literally watched this video, hundreds of times, and it never gets old, even though Stevie is gone now his music is going to live on until Jesus comes back, Voodoo Child is good, but nowhere near this performance. 😊
SRV and Johnny Copeland live at the Capital Theater
Please do ain't gone n give up on love from capital theater
Everyone that watches SRV gets stank face.
Voodoo Chile❤ 🥂
Ok DIMPLES!!!! You're gorgeous! ❤ I love this man so much and you will not be disappointed by any of his music. Such a great reaction. ❤❤❤
Awwww thank you, Awesome song!!!🎶❤️
Riviera Paradise, live at Austin 1989
liquid cocaine pouring out him at that time in his career
Most enjoyable reaction. Real Music, Real emotion. Stay Healthy and God Bless!
Much love, thank you!🥰💞
Thanks! SRV knows the blues.. and obviously, so do you! Hope you do some more reactions!
I sure will!!!🥰🎶❤️🫶🏽
Stevie swag and talent> everyone! Lol
Oh guuurl!!!!! He was as humble as he was talented. You gotta check out “Tin Pan Alley” with Stevie Ray and Johnny Copeland at Montreux 1985!!
Yessss very talented!!!🙌🏾 Ok thanks for the suggestion have to check it out!🥰🔥
Well u ruined her. It's over now. She's gonna freak bro!
😂😂🥰
😂😂😂
I know why you enjoyed it, because my wife stated, back in the day, that "That man makes my ovaries tremble'. Is that what you are feeling?
She cried for a week when he died back in 1990. And she swore that our first son would have the name 'Vaughan' as his middle name. And he does. And he is now a brilliant blues/rock guitarist. We still tell him it was because of the name.
🥰🥰🥰
Correction. Both y’all are so cool and lucky y’all on the same page! ❤
🔥🔥🔥
Live version is always best
She felt that in her bones! Love it!
I sure did!!! Yesss🙌🏾❤️
Girlfriend that was the most fabulous response I've ever seen on these videos.
Thank you so much, had me🔥😅🥰
YES! Voodoo Child (Slight Return) is the actual title, just to distinguish it from another Hendrix song (from the same album) called "Voodoo Chile". (Nobody remembers that one because it just wasn't all that great, unlike 'Voodoo Child (Slight Return)" which is goddamn ICONIC!
Look at little sister he breaks a string and keeps going switches guitars without missing a beat
Yesss🥰🔥💞
Very good!! You were listing to the GOAT!! RIP STEVIE!❤
There’s a video from the Capitol, in Passaic, NJ… SRV is playing with his teeth,,,, and loses one!
That is a beautiful woman enjoying this song like I have enjoyed this song for 25 years! Every single time!
I enjoyed it so much🙌🏾🔥💞
Absolutely loved your reaction ahh the good ol days when I first heard him I was woh hold up who is this brother been loving Stevie ever since he is just amazing.
It had me sweating!!! Amazing🥰🔥
Live Vs. Studio ??? Some songs the magic is in the Words, those need lyrics ( Schlyrics ) up reactions..Example Pink Floyds song TIME or Skynyrds SIMPLE MAN. Others need to be seen to be appreciated. Example Stevie Ray Vaughn and Pink Floyds COMFORTABLY NUMB. The main thing,,, enjoy the new music. 🤘
Texas blues. SRV is THE best guitarist that ever lived. Jimi Hendrix, RIP. But Jimi thinks the same thing. SRV has done him proud. And RIP Stevie Ray. Been gone 33 years now. Hard to believe.
You know he's a badass when you get stink face just listening to him🤣🤣🤣
You've just witnessed the best blues guitarist to ever walk the planet.
Welcome to the SRV Fan Club.
Next
Allman Brothers Jelly Jelly....
When you know😂.
As much as she enjoyed that, I enjoyed watching her react to this. Her reaction was EVERYTHING!
I believe "Couldn't Stand The Weather" live from The Capitol theater, 1985 is better than this , and Voodoo Child, but that's just me...Also, from this show, as far as showing his amazing versatility, the song "Lenny" that he wrote for his wife, is to my taste, better, as well. Again, a matter of taste, and possibly my age..I think he shows a degree of maturity in that one, that is just beautiful!..CSTW is just total swagger, and one of the coolest live performance's I've ever seen, and I've seen A LOT in my day!
SRV Voodoo Child live on Austin City Limits in I believe 1989 when he was clean and sober because he died tragically in August 1990
Jimi Hendrix was great guitar player. The only one who could do justice to voodoo child was Stevie Ray Vaughan and he did it even better than Jimmy did that’s just the fact people.
Listening to SRV will make you crack your teeth 🦷 or give you TMJ
SRV took over from Hendrix. Hendrix was great no cap. However Vaughan cleaned it up and made the riffs his.
Couldn't Stand the Weather, Marry Had a Little Lamb, Little Wing, Riviera Paradise.....
Your reaction was pure gold. I love to see new people discover SRV.
Although Stevie is technically better than Jimmy, Jimmy was more innovative than Stevie. Just listen to Jimmy, songs like "A merman I should turn to be"!
