Daenerys Targaryen story's ended. She had a magnificient story through all the seasons and I'll miss this character.
In the end, she might not have had the perfect ending, but It didn't removed everything that happened before.

I feel bad for Drogon now. No brothers, no mother.
Don't be so certain about no mother....what if drogon burns her and she comes back as a dragon from the ashes as her father foretold.
He's still got his cousin, Jon Snow.
Drogon very well may have flown to Essos to find the Red Woman of Mereen, who has the power to bring Daenerys back, Dany may very well be alive and well and ruling Mereen with Daario Naharis where the Lord of Light wants her to be.

@@shawnhenderson606 it's highly likely that he flew her to the ruins of Valyria, put her body to rest on one of the many volcano islands where her ancestors were originally from. It complement nicely with the fact that Jon embraced his Stark bloodline by going up the icy cold north representing ice while Dany in Valyria representing fire, with both of them being the last of the Targaryen.
Emilia Clarke thank you for bringing this character to life. Daenerys will always be my Queen. that scene with Drogon was heartbreaking.

She is my Queen, and she loved Jon, and he loved her. He will carry what he did for the rest of his life. Always wondering if he was right.
To me, her life and her death, will always be tragic. She suffered so much, and she persevered. Her intentions were pure, even if her traumas and her losses were so great, that vengeance clouded her judgment. She is after all, only human. Who gets the right to decide what was good and what was bad? If almost everyone in that show was executed for killing, then the show would have ended a long time ago. Innocence as well as people who were evil, were killed by many. Even Ned Stark, in the first episode, had to kill an innocent man because he was Lord of Winterfell and it was part of his duties. He did it with honor, but he still did it. Why is there a double standard?

That was the problem tho. She didn’t deserve it yet. She felt entitled to it and instead of showing the people she truly did deserve it she felt too slighted at the fact that it wasn’t given to her just because she said so. That was her undoing. She needed a bit more patience and wisdom. If it would’ve happened that way she would have been the best ruler anyone could ever ask for. What she did was horrible but I refuse to believe that if she didn’t do what she did that she wouldn’t be a good ruler.

Ella If the white walkers spread they would be the entire world’s problem. It benefited her to stop them as soon as possible. Obviously she was better than Cersei but at the end of the day stopping the white walkers was not a selfless deed but simply one that was necessary.
Suzy Bekil Why though? Being a good leader in war times does not translation to a good leader in peace times. They only people who truly should have ruled were either Tyrion, Sansa or Margery. Not because they “deserved” it but because they were good at ruling and taking care of the people. What does it even mean to deserve to rule? Danys freed a lot of people but did not take much responsibility for them. Which evident several times when she was in Essos.

I kinda liked the end for Sansa, Jon and Arya. The final scenes with them were great, the rest of the episode not so much, and Bran being King is ridiculous.

@@edofluit6568 He didn't even wanted to be Lord of Winterfell because he said that he lived most of his time in the past. He spent the entire season like a robot, just giving cryptic answers and being completely useless even thought he apparently knows everything. If he knew what was gonna happen maybe he should have stopped the massacre of King's Landing, that would have made him a good king and not the ability to tell a good story, which the writers of this show apparently don't have.

Jorah was the true love of her life. When he died, so did her humanity. Her scenes with him always showed a different more human side of her. He always gave her good counsel and she always listened to him. He kept her grounded. Even in Mereen she was lost when she banished him. Tyrion only made it worse until she resorted to using her dragons to burn everything. Same thing happened in Westeros. She never loved Jorah romantically but he was her home, the only one who had her best interests at heart and believed in her even when she was just a girl too scared to speak up against her older brother. I find it hard to believe she would turn out the way she did if Jorah was there.

This is why it's so hard to accept that you know.. they turned her into an antagonist in only one episode and expect all of us to be okay with that. Like how can we forget all of the good things she did just because of that one episode!!
ju naid to be fair, she also did many things bad. If u rewatch the show u will notice that most of the good things she did was because pf her advisors advice and when she did things on her own they were cruel. Hence why Varys said he doesnt know which side of the coin she was. Now i agree season 8 was way to fast paced, but Dany going mad has been fore shadowed for years, torching Kings Landing, killing the Tarlys, crucifying the masters, all things she didnt listen about and did on her own. It could of been handled better of course but still the way it was always going to end

Tyrion and Jorah advised her to show an example of mercy but she chose to do the same as those she fought. When you fight fire with fire you just get more fire. She was using Fear to rule long before Kings Landing.

The NoobKiller Well Kinvara has been seen to be loyal to Dany so I’m hoping she is resurrected and realizes her mistakes and feels remorse. She returns to Mereen to correct anything that’s been going on in her absence and settles down to rule in Essos and never returns to Westeros. She is after all still Queen of Mereen. The people of Slavers Bay loved her and Essos is way more her home than Westeros. Maybe she’ll finally get her red door and lemon tree. ❤️

Tot she was never going to get the ending we wanted her to have. GRRM will do it the right way, but her ending will be similar if not the same. She and Ceresi are supposed to be two halves of the same coin.
We aren’t crying over the tyrant we saw in episode 5&6 that wasn’t the character that we had seen and grown to love. A Targaryen alone in this world is a terrible thing. If only she had someone who truly loved her and could love her. RIP Daenerys Stormborn of House Targaryen, the First of Her Name, Queen of the Andals and the First men, protector of the seven kingdoms, mother of dragons, the khaleesi of the great grass sea, the unburnt, the breaker of chains, the dragon queen. You will be missed. What a beautiful and tragic story. Kudos to Emilia Clarke for portraying such s great character who will be remembered forever.

Daria Müller0vá :D I never said she didn’t lose him. But something Danys never realized is that the Rebellion was completely justified even knowing the Lyanna was never raped and kidnapped. Her father was a terrible ruler and not the first terrible ruler in her ancestors. Danys also ignored that there was no reason for anyone to trust her or take her claim seriously. All seven kingdoms were independent before the Targaryens showed up and decided that they owned Westeros simply because they had dragons. Danys never tried to prove to the people that she was a good queen she thought her dragons and name should be enough. That is the work of a tyrant not a leader.

Poor Drogon with no one for emotional support. A lonely dragon in the world with no one to continue its lineage and a motherly figure on his side anymore.
Now he can be wild though - and given Balerion died of old age with his riders at the age of 200+, Drogon has many happy years ahead of him.

@@nikhillr8034 And he also said recently in an interview the main characters' endings would be the same as the show, just different ways for the book. Why would GRRM divert from a major plot twist? A lot of book readers would say Daenerys shows more signs of madness in them and started to embrace her Targaryen "fire and blood" motto by the end of ADWD. This is Daenerys' ending.

Killed because she was written as the villain from the offset. It just accelerated really fast at the end.
Plenty of character development, foreshadow, bloodline, and drastic events to turn her bad. I would've liked more episodes as much as the next person but GRRM didn't finish the books and D&D as well as the cast wanted to work on other projects. It's not one particular person's fault for not living up to your expectations. I'd advise everyone to rewatch the show from start to finish to give it a better perspective on the result and understand that not everything from the books (lack there of) can be translated to live action.

But she was planned to be the villain and get killed at the end from the very beginning. If you thought this would have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.

As much as I love Robb and Oberyn and Daenerys, Ser Jorah's death was the most heartbreaking one in the show. We saw his bond with Daenerys built up for 8 seasons, we saw him not give up on ever serving his Queen, even when she did not want his servitude. The music overbearing every sound of fighting, the way Daenerys picked up a sword for probably the first time in her life to fight for him, the way he fought and fought for her, even when stabbed multiple times, and even down to the beautiful acting done especially by Emilia.
Ser Jorah's death, despite not being one of my favorite characters, affected me the most.

If you indeed wanna become the beast that you face in order to win, when you kill it don't celebrate. The monster isn't dead; it has been replaced.

@@nikkicolaa5955 it happened in a short amount of time with shit writing. When the sept was blown up we had a couple of seasons to see the hate between the crown and the faith, so probably a similar amount of time

I will never forgive D&D for not letting Daenerys sit on the Iron Throne. I have been longing for that ever since S1. She brought peace and justice to the world. The North didn't show appreciation to the Queen who saved the day and brought the dawn. Without her there was no chance at all. Furthermore she broke the wheel, she did as she believed was destined to do.
I live with the thought she is ressurected by Kinvara, only then can I have peace in mind.
I cried so much when she died, I loved her character dearly. Goodbye, Queen Daenerys💖

Yes I always hated her because she was always psychopat. Look at her speeches to slavers, what did she do in Qarth, her quotes that she is the only chosen one. Her fate was foretold like in season two, only you didn't listen cuz you are her fanboys.
