I really do hope chunsoft re-makes pokemon mystery dungeon explorers of time/darkness... One of my favorites aside from this one. Super has a really good one as well, just most people haven't seen it because after Gates, everyone just assumed Super would be just as bad (it ended up being hella good).
One of my favourite Pokemon Mystery Dungeon songs. My favourite till now is Memories Returned from PMD2. That soundtrack hits your heart even harder than this masterpiece, especially when you remember the flashbacks of your journey with your partner. This is actually what I associate Groudon in PMD with - not Magma Cave but Memories Returned😅
Okay... Literally just finished the game five minutes ago Never played the originals I knew what was coming...and my heart still hurt. Seeing Golden. My beloved Pikachu partner. Cry over her best friend Phoenix. Skitty even went with a smile. This game was great. And I’m glad I don’t have to reset to play it again as a different Pokémon. I’ve used all my family profiles ACT were some of my favourites. Their personalities were spot on. And I laughed when the gloated about their gold rank. When I had spend hours on hours to reach a dumb platinum just for the laughs Absol didn’t play much of a role. Other then saving the main characters from Articuno. But still when he joined the team I didn’t take him off. The cutscene with ACT showed that he had faith that these two youngins knew what was going on. And that he could trust him. Even if that made him a fugitive to. Siding with the main character. Would I say this game was one of the best? Yes. Story and character wise. Some of the best. It just passed Gates for me. Amazing. Music? It can’t match against Explorers or super. But it was still up there. Especially this song. The flute and the violin combined just makes it so harmonized All I need now is an Explorers remake and my life will be absolutely perfect 👌

This theme plays when a loved one of yours is dying and you only have a few more minutes to say goodbye to them. Or when a loved friend is moving out of town and is never returning.
This was actually the first pokemon Mystery Dungeon game I've ever played, and even though I knew it was gonna happen, I still cried at this part of the game
