I just want to thank you for a concise and to the point video. It should not take 12+ minutes to make a video about jalapeño poppers. Everyone wants to tell you, how long it takes for a jalapeño to grow, how the cream cheese is made, how the oven was made and where it is from, yadda, yadda, yadda. Outstanding!!!! 👍👍
I cook a whole thing of bacon and put it in the whipped cream cheese in very small pieces, separately I sauté onions in small pieces with garlic and add to the cream cheese mix along with Colby jack cheese. After that I chop very small green onions into the mix PLUS already cooked XS shrimp/ chop it up of course ( could be used for salads etc) and then wrap the bacon on 20 of the 30 poppers of them.... both are 😋 and my kids and hubby love them!!
U covered the basics so everyone can put their spin on it, but have a great basic method and simple base recipe. Wonderful. Tonight....mine will be a blue cream chz spread (mixed with some bacon crumbles bc....why not) and wrapped in bacon. I could think of a million ways to tweak the recipe but this gives me the basics and tonight I'm sure it will be a success.
I love them stuffed with jalapeño boudin and pepper jack cheese. The boudin seems to be a good binder for both the oven and the grill.... pretty much anything you want to stuff into a jalapeño and wrap in bacon will taste good. From shrimp to rotisserie chicken to leftover steak.... slap some cheese on and BAM! People love it 🤷♀️❤️
Sounds like a good party dish. I’m going to try it. I was also thinking about stuffing it with other ingredients too. Like scrambled eggs and cheddar cheese wrapped with bacon. A tasty breakfast snack.
ive put dove breast in these, and smoked them with hickory, adding a layer of brown sugar 15 minutes before they were done. they were exquisite...nothing like that!!
I spooned out all of the insides and I was left with 0 heat the first time i did this :( Going to try bacon wrapped now that I got bacon, and ima leave some seeds.

I like using cream cheese, cheddar cheese shredded, Chipotle pepper seasoning, smoked paprika and garlic powder for the mixture on the inside.

For my filling, I used cream cheese, added some shredded cheddar. And I put everything bagel seasoning and garlic, makes it 10 times better.

That cheese needs to be softened AND SEASONED, plain cream doesn’t have much flavor so the finished product won’t taste like much!
