Actually, I like that even All for One and All Might aren't as one-dimensional as you can think at the beginning. All Might can't protect every single person that is in danger and basically just creating an illusion that everyone are safe, and All for One cares for Tomura and ready to sacrifice himself for him.
*Best Jeanist said it:* Heroes and villians are two sides of the same coin. Same thing, just different circumtances, similar motivations and opposites names.
As far as I'm concerned, MHA is all about the protagonist (Deku), antagonist (Shigaraki) and rival (Bakugo)'s growth and conflicts. They are not perfect to leave room for their growth and them slowing learning to become the heroes and villains of legend is a big part of what's charming about this series I'd say.
I enjoy that the line of heros and villians values blur the line of what is right and wrong. There is more of a grey area in ideology where it is hard decide who really is on the right side of the argument. Conflict breeds change and can force someone to rethink their position. As always, thank you for the great content. Look forward to the next episode.

I think another big thing in my hero academia world is the whole idea of ranking heroes. Let's look at All might his idea is to be a symbol of peace NO. 1 hero of course it has an amazing effect on scaring villains and motivating new generation, but when you create a ranking system and then you but an unbeatable boss on top of it it will also cost some problems just look at Endeavor. No. 1 hero is supposed to inspire new heroes while No. 2 hero is supposed to strike fear in villans. When you spend filling that role for two decades, of course, it starts to effect your personal life. Endeavor spend his whole life on improving his quirk and body (maybe even more than All might just look at the size of his body it is almost equal to All mights) but sadly the difference between their quirks was too great. He was the only one trying to surpass him and you know how the public reacted to his endeavors? They were laughing that he is even trying. So Endeavor to fulfill his goal of surpassing All might did the only thing he could find a wife with a quirk that could get rid of his weakness and train his child. And they kinda said that at the beginning it was an actual love they had, but after three failure he had to be getting pretty desperate after all he put like ten years of his life into this instead of trying some other way. A lot of people hates Endeavor but nobody actually tries to imagine them selfs in his position.
I mostly just love how (it's similar to Attack on titan in this regard and thats my favourite manga) that its not straight up good versus bad. The Villains are shown to not be purely evil, a lot of their beliefs and ways to crime are "justified". There's so much criticism of hero society and heroes, We are made to sympathise with both parties for different reasons. Many other series give us barely a glimpse of the villains side and focus purely on the heroes while we know the thoughts, developments of personalities, ideals and changes within them of the villains. We get to make up our own minds on who we love rather than being forced to just love the heroes. Especially love how much more intense the characters are and how realistic they are regardless of things like quirks and strengths. At first MHA is easy to just ignore as a typical shounen with no depth but then you realise that its reflective of irl in many ways especially with discrimination and hatred still being one of the biggest problems in their universe despite nearly everyone having abilities. The heroes and training are not completely superhuman, quirks have their advantages and disadvantages. Most can permanently damage the holder, some are basically useless. And how you can see Horikoshi's storyline developing from basic to well thought out and intense.
Just realised you have the perfect jawline and placement of facial features to cosplay Stain!! Well, excet for his complete lack of nose. lol 😅 Keep those awesome uploads coming!! 👍
Joe from the channel Pause and Select has a fantastic video on this topic called "MHA and Peace". Basically in the meta sense BNH showcases how definitions of peace have changed over time, and how ultimately "peace" is just a stand in for "something worth fighting for". It's great stuff
There is a chapter (Chapter 69) in the manga that reminded me a matchup between the methods of villains. The difference between stain "creating a strong society without false heroes" and shigaraki "creating a world without all might" (who reminds me the difference between pain "A world where everyone shares the same pain" and tobi "creating a world where the hatred doesn’t exist" in terms of ideals)
I have a remark about mid/late-season 2, because this might help answer the question of what makes a hero or villain. Dog-face just visited Izuku, Shoto, and Iida in the hospital, and he tried saying they were all at fault for using their quirks to injure Stain. Apparently there's some law that says you can't use your quirk to injure others unless you're a pro, and I was thinking such a law would only apply to cases in which ANYONE harms another with their quirk intentionally, and especially for the purpose of causing harm. Unintentional harm would be addressed by a different law. However, none of this should apply to cases of self-defense or saving others. Also what about all of them having provisional hero licenses? Also, I don't remember All Might's cop buddy giving this speech to any of the students who fought villains at the USJ. Native and Iida are alive because the three students decided to use their quirks. A murderer is off the streets because the three students decided to use their quirks. I doubt the law restricts that, but any law that does isn't one worth having or following because it's no law at all. Does that make a hero a villain? So what decides who is a hero or villain? The screwy laws, probably. Beyond that, it's intent of the individual.
You know the guy who’s the flesh meatball hero? I think he might become a villain because he’s kinda stubborn about trying to change his approach since he’s been influenced by Stain

I feel empathy for alot of the Villians in the series well of course I dont always agree with there actions for example i wasnt happy when he went on a hero killing spree but i did agree with not wanting Heroes in the society who dont care for the lives of others only money.
