ASAP Rocky in my opinion is pretty underrated. Sure, his songs aren't for everyone, but I'd rather listen to him than any generic, overly auto tuned trap song any day!
I love A$AP Rocky, in my personal top 5, however he is one of the most prolific artists currently, on Spotify he boasts just under 15 million monthly listeners
Man, I'm a damn huge fan of Rocky. Have been since I heard Live.Love.A$AP back in 2012 for the first time. For me, I always thought Rocky was a total package of multiple elements although never being the absolute best at any of them aside from an undeniable swagger. Either way, dude is mad dope and I'll always scope what he puts out for solo projects even if he went AWOL on music after this damn good album, and I wasn't the biggest fan of Testing...
Neither was I a fan of testing, but I've been relistening to it here and there and got to say it's a grower. Not as good as his first 3 projects but just a little under
"a total package of multiple elements although never being the absolute best at any of them aside from an undeniable swagger" I agree, but i'd argue that he is currently the best and (for me) top 5 all time when it comes to flow his cadence and flow variations mixed with that laid back arrogant attitude is what makes his style unique while i still dont enjoy testing besides few exceptions, we all know what he is capable of
Also, RC! Please, listen to Live.Love.A$AP!! Defining record of my growing up. Not 5/5 lyricism, but still damn good in the department! Made me a massive, continuous fan. Even as I'm the kind of guy who would tell people about Nas, A Tribe Called Quest, Gang Starr, and Big L as prime examples of my music taste.
You should listen to A Tribe Called Quest's (2016) album "We Got It from Here... Thank You 4 Your Service" or at least the first track "Space program" if you haven't already.

If you don’t know A$AP Rocky’s backstory and him going to jail, being homeless, and selling drugs you should look into it adds something that is not there leaving his hard life behind for the finer things in life
Thing is, if I'm not mistaken the recommendations are only valid if the song made a certain spot in the Billboard and there is a music video. So masterpieces like "Daylight" cannot be recommended
@@robertolanzone Rings has a surprising amount of depth for one of his most accessible songs. It's a perfect entry point for new listeners as well as being pretty easy to analyze compared to his more dense tracks. And has a video.
the entire long live asap album is a modern day classic u need to listen to that. the production is A1, and the features are nothing to overlook. also its asaps most consistent and lyrical project to date
Rocky’s always struck me as an artist who’s good at what he does, and can occasionally make some catchy bangers like Multiply, Potato Salad or Praise The Lord, but works best when he’s featured. Sure, he’s a godsend when compared to people like Playboi Carti or Famous Dex, but he adds a fun and charismatic flair to songs that normally wouldn’t have those elements.
I like that you are altering the way you talk about music to better adress your haters. I love that thing you said about a hungover day drinker on the slot machine.
I don't really listen to ASAP Rocky so this was a refreshing change of pace, I wouldn't give it a full 5 but it's actually a good song. I think I like R. Cali more from him still though from what I know of his. I don't even know any Rod Stewart other than the "And you think I'm sexy" song so it's weird to see him involved in this too, hilarious.
Bruhhhh LVL is my favorite Rocky song because of the beat and the feeling I get listening to it, I feel like I'm just in the darkest area of space until the finish with the girl singing and I just finally see a star. Idk I love it. Opinions ik but I'm just explaining my POV on a guy who loves the atmosphere he got
Rocky has always been one of my favorite rappers. All of his albums have pushed what “rap” sounds like. His flow has always been top notch and his rhyme schemes are usually really great even tho every so often he has some corny lines but rocky is someone I’d definitly check out more
Yo, RC, I want to request a review but there is no way in hell I can afford the patreon thing so if you ever get around to it and feel charitable (lol) review Cage of you can. Anything at all from Cage would be dope.
You could make a whole video of songs/artists affected by A$AP Yams death. A$AP Mob members and Meechy Darko (of the Flatbush Zombies) have made songs about him and they’re really good.
ASAP isn't perfect but he definitely has the best music videos for any artist this generation LSD, Kids turned out fine and ASAP Forever are all amazing to look at and have a great vibe
A$AP Rocky is usally half-and-half, he has some good songs, and some boring or just uninteresting ones. Though I am glad that he has others to bounce off of and tends to do better after the first few albums
Honestly as a member of the LGBT+ community (a bisexual trans woman for those wondering, still haven't changed my UA-cam name yet), that d*ke line kind of ruined whatever potential the song had to be good for me.
Dude calls women bitches all the time but somehow thats the only line that offends you? Also, he said 'dykes' bc it was one syllable and it worked with the line. If he said 'lesbians', thats 2 syllables more.
