Not really, he didn't recognize Sentinel Prime as being The Bad PrimeTM and called Primus new despite being part of the fiction even since the original Marvel comics in the 80's
The mouthpiece coming off when he says "And you betrayed _me."_ felt like a great way to convay the personal level of their conflict. That when it was up he was speaking as a Prime, and when it was off he was speaking as a friend betrayed.
I noticed on rewatches that you can actually see hints of D-16’s predisposition towards violence before he learns the truth about his society. Even when he’s friendly bickering with Orion, he says things like “I’d turn into a shovel and beat you”, and “If you make me miss the race I’ll smelt your face right off”. Also, an interesting detail is that in the final fight, when the 3 other High Guardsmen try to take down Optimus, he actually puts his energy axe away and engages them in a fistfight. I took that to mean that he knows he could easily terminate them with his axe, but he doesn’t find it necessary to end their lives. He then re-equips the axe once he re-engages Megatron because he is a much more serious threat demanding lethal force.
And even then he doesn't use the axe to harm Megatron, when he slices his fusion cannon off Optimus has a clear shot at slicing his head clean off but you can see him tilt the axe upwards so he only disarms.
Well, yeah; if you look, when Optimus does his final moves, bending the smaller cannon and cutting into the fusion cannon with his axe, he PULLS UP the axe at the end, so that he doesn't decapitate Megatron. Optimus was only doing as much as necessary in the fight.
It actually very rare to see people who react to this movie actually know their Transformers. This movie is easy to watch because you can actually map out the Hero Journey... I remember watching this movie in cinema and moment i see Wheeljack during the mining montage, i was like "Oh no, everybots get out from there!"
The asymmetry of of the 'birth' of Optimus and Megatron is some of the greatest filmmaking I've ever seen. We have someone who becomes a leader through sacrifice and renewal--and one who becomes a leader through force and vengeance. Megatron crowns himself his new name, whereas Optimus has his new identity bestowed upon him by someone else. Such a beautiful way to show the differences of their characters and the explosive birth of their rivalry. I love the way Megatron was shown on-screen for his moment. It felt heroic in a sense. The lighting and everything. It made him feel like a compelling rise to villainy. You feel how deeply hurt he is by injustice and now feels empowered to take justice into his own hands. Also I have to say I'm glad they went as brutal and savage as they did with Sentinel's death. It probably scared a few kids but I think it's worth it to really show the depth of Megatron's rage. I also have to say the fighting, particularly the last fight sequence was something so few filmmakers do right: if your characters have interesting non-human or magical abilities, for God's sake, make them use those abilities in fights in interesting ways. The way they played around w the transformations and mechanics of their limbs and parts made the fighting soooo incredible and breathtaking to watch. Overall such an amazing film and honestly, possibly the best transformers movie ever made.
So fun fact about the red streaks coming from Megatron's eyes. I think it was the Director that revealed the inspiration for that came from Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, which is a fantastic series. Basically starting in the second season, when the protagonist's Gundam, Barbatos, goes into limiter-off mode its eyes turn red and red lightning streaks from them like a berserker. They felt that was appropriate here to show Megatron's rage.
I really like the small detail of megatrons selfishness randomly breaching the surface. “Sentinel lied to MY face” “I got it” “I’m doing this MY way”. He takes his anger out on Orion when he learns the truth, and only truly gets upset with Orion when he himself is affected by his actions. He constantly flips back and forth between friendly and selfish when a situation doesn’t work out in a way that benefits him and it subtly shows that megatron was always there, he just never had a reason to let that part of him take over. There’s a few other examples I’m blanking on at the moment but from almost the beginning of the movie, you can tell there’s a very dark selfish side of D-16 waiting to come out.
One that stands out to me is immediately after the race when they're in the room waiting to be debriefed. D-16 is furious with OP and how foolish he was made to look in front of Sentinel. Then when Sentinel flips the script on them and OP asks, "Still md at me." D-16's answer is 'less' mad. All is not forgiven with him. Then when they get dropped in the incinerator pit, D-16 forgets that they were 'supposed' to be rewarded for OP's efforts, again blaming him (not Darkwing) for getting stuck there.
Yes! Thank you! The one with him blaming Orion instead of darkwing was another big one I noticed, it’s very interesting to see the different ways he conveniently throws blame upon the wrong person to try and convince himself that his reality isn’t as bad as it truly is
Indeed. He also rarely, if ever, takes responsibility for anything bad that happens. It's either Orion Pax's fault, inherent in the system, etc, but it's never D-16's fault.
Also how D says that Orion only thinks of himself/is selfish but like, if you ACTUALLY look at his actions, he's not. He's searching for the Matrix for the betterment of EVERYONE. And several times, when they get in trouble, Orion leaps in to take the fall (when Darkwing is punishing Elita for the cave explosion-even tho really the fault is Wheeljack's-, to Sentinel after their stunt in the race, even after they end up on the surface). He's not willing to let someone else take the blame and punishment for something he did, even if they were involved. Which is like, the opposite of selfishness.
I love how you didn't even open up with the fact that you are very familiar with transformers, but the moment you say Orion instead of Optimus in the first minutes, I had an inkling that you are very well-versed, and boy it's such a joy to watch you react. (yeah I know the trailer already mentioned the name Orion Pax, but just the way he says it just convinced me he always knew about Orion.)
Also, as a Transformers fan who first got into the lore in the 2010s, the “Thirteen Primes” are something that make up a cornerstone of my sense of the mythology. “Megatronus Prime” was said to be the original “Decepticon” of sorts, who understood with his powers of entropy that chaos and destruction are necessary aspects of existence. His legend inspired the young miner-turned-gladiator D-16 to take up the name “Megatron” as a revolutionary symbol against the oppressive caste system. In the movie, they make Megatronus Prime more of an acclaimed and heroic warrior, and transfer his deceitful aspects to this interpretation of Sentinel Prime. I find that really interesting because it adds to Megatron’s character that he corrupted the reputation of a legendary hero for his own purposes. I think that’s a fitting act for the true first “Decepticon”.
But at the same time we don't really know a lot abut TF One Megatronus, just the fact that he fought Quintessons, and was a great warrior. I find it very suspicious that every single t-cog emits a blue light in TF One (the color of Energon/the blood of Primus in the Aligned continuity) except the cog of Megatronus' who's cog is purple (which is the color of the blood of Unicron/Dark Energon) I think there is more to the lore of the Primes than what we were shown int the movie. Maybe it will be revealed later, or it's just a strange little detail they put into the movie for old fans' sake.
@@pepita2437It is interesting that they chose purple for Megatronus’ cog, but at the same time I think that was just a stylistic choice for the storytelling. It makes Megatronus’ cog stand out among his siblings and works as a shorthand to indicate that it grants increased strength and firepower compared to regular cogs.
@@MiguelGaray-mm7ce Do you know why I think the color choice (of Megatronus's cog being purple) was not just a stylistic choice? Because TF One took a ton of lore elements from the Aligned continuity , including changing the color of regular energon form pink to blue. This is significant because the color choice of blue/purple became even more important by the end of the series, since the designers wanted to signify than Optimus represented Primus, Megatron did Unicron. Another fun fact, Megatronus was also a worshipper of Unicron in the Aligned continuity. I may be wrong, but this does not seems ike a coincidence to me.
@@pepita2437I’m familiar with the Aligned lore. I know the importance of purple in regards to it being the color of Dark Energon/“Unicron’s Blood”. And I know that Megatronus betrayed his siblings and aligned himself with Unicron, in part because his spark was created by Primus to be most similar to the dark lord. However, in this movie, Megatronus stood united with his siblings and gave no indication he was a servant of Unicron. I don’t think we can justify a purple-colored cog as an indicator of Dark Energon. Notably, Energon is shown to change to a purple color when it becomes unstable in the mine collapase scene. One could say that a purple cog indicates it being powered by Energon in its most volatile state, explaining the increased power given to the wielder.
51:40 So the 'canon fodder' for Sentinel's militia were probably Vehicons (or their precursors), i.e. mass-produced low IQ arguably non-sentient, well, canon fodder. It's so you can have guilt free casualty's on the enemy side without killing off a fan favorite.
I think that keeping the camera static was a better call as it commanded attention to the character and what they were saying -something that really helped set this up as being a movie about the Transformers and their world, which is something that very few people outside of the fandom have ever considered for this toy series.
I think Sentinel having what are probably generic Vehicon drones as his minions makes more sense as he probably only trusts Airacnid to some degree and wouldn't want actual bots around him that can find out what he did and was doing.
Yup. Out of universe, it makes sense for budgetary reasons, which is also why the cog-less bots and the hundreds of seekers all share basic models with just colors and surface level details changed. It allows you to have large background groups that look suitably different, while saving a ton of time, effort, and money on 3d assets. It's also very intelligent use of budget limiting, because it works perfectly fine in universe too. All the cog-less bots would look similar, basically only being partially "finished" from the protoform stage. All the Seekers are classically recolored design copies of Starscream, so it worked well for the High Guard (also, "High" Guard, because they fly lol). And then the shiny but bland drones make sense as Sentinel's guards because of what you said Everything about this movie is a love letter to every generation of Transformers fans, and everyone can see how much care was put into it. I'm so, so bummed that it bombed at the box office because it means it might not spawn its own series. It's legitimately the best Transformers movie that has ever been on the big screen, by a big gap. Every Transformers movie before has had great parts swamped in an overall messy film, but this is the first time it's fantastically enjoyable start to finish
Also makes sense with the High Guard leaving him. If he couldn't trust the High Guard, he'll make his own, drones, completely loyal to him, who answers to him, with no questions or hesitations.
Hearing you know your Transformers and going technical about how films are shot, lit, and character beats, is such a treat to listen. I mean this is “Filmmaker Reacts”. ^_^
Also, for music and sound cues, at 40:24 when D says “Pax”, I heard what sounded like a church bell, implying the impending death of D-16. And at 40:38, the sound used when D-16 shot Orion, it’s an enhanced version of a Walter P-38, which was Megatron’s original alt mode back in G1!! Which I think is one of the most excellent use of sound design I have ever heard in animation.
what Im really into already- most of the time when I see these "Filmmaker reacts" videos and stuff, you don't- really get that impression from them, and then here comes you, with- you CLEARLY know your stuff, and you're using the terminology frequently, like Im only 9 minutes into the video here and already I can get a grasp for just how technical you are, how keen your eyes and ears are to point out certain things, like the lack of music in a scene, the lack of movement in the camera in a scene, even the way things are lit AND you clearly know your stuff, pointing out bots like Red Alert, Sunstreaker- even catching _Hound_ when he passes D-16 on the train- who _I_ thought at first was Moonracer! I thought that was a woman that walked past him there! 😂 absolutely delightful, you are, take my subscription, you
Brian Tyree Henry really out did himself with his incredible performance and his deep understanding of Megatron since always wanted to play the villains. Every villain is a hero of his and her own Story. D-16 is not only a product of Cybertron’s corrupted system and takes on Sentinel Prime’s oppression though violent means all the social injustices he had experiences forged his transcendence into Megatron and building up to a rivalry with Orion turned Optimus Prime (due to wanting the same goal of a unified Cybertron but have different viewpoints). Even if Orion is willingly to sacrifice himself for restoring the sake of his brother’s morality by being taken by the blast. But their friendship is doomed ever since they discovered that shocking realization their leader Sentinel Prime had sold out Cybertron to the Quintessons after betraying his fellow Prime brothers and sisters, and ruled his planet through oppression. D-16 has put too much faith in the system he has held on to until his worldview was shattered that boils up to anger and a personal vengeance after being suffered of the social injustices while Orion still kept his optimism by exposing the truth of Sentinel's corruption. This what makes D-16 a much more of a compelling hero-turned-villain and tragic character in Transformers history. And the rift between two brothers. Both D-16 and Orion really wanted a unified Cybertron but each have different ways to bringing it into fruition.
Just a fun note about the info dump in the beginning of the movie: Primus becoming Cybertron, and the design used (including the animation for transforming) are based upon the Primus seen in the end of the Unicron Trilogy, the final episodes of Transformers: Cybertron. It's a fantastic callback to the era of the Transformers I grew up collecting. I didn't actually discover the shows or toys until the early 2000s, so I missed out on some of the classics, but the Unicron Trilogy was where my interest in the universe began, and I recognized the design instantly. In the rest of the movie, there are references from across the franchise; the living nature of Cybertron, the way roads reshape to create new roadways for vehicles crossing them, and even the various mechanical elements such as the "jump" vent Orion and D-16 use to enter the race are derived drom the War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron video games. Many of the character designs, such as Starscream, are based on appearances in the IDW comics, and I believe Optimus' look is based upon some of the art from the Marvel comics (not confirmed, just a certain visual likeness to my eye.) The various media that references D-16 tends to claim he was a gladiator who battled in the "fight pits" for the entertainment of the Cybertronian elites, forming a dedicated cadre of followers among fellow gladiators like Soundwave and Motormaster; these became the foundation of the Decepticons, when D-16 managed to get into contact with a librarian named Orion Pax, who worked in Iacon. They met and became friends, and essentially began the revolt that would topple the then-ruling Primes, led by Zeta Prime, whose design is featured in the film as seen in Transformers: War for Cybertron. This version of the origin story comes from the Aligned Continuity, as it's called these days, including Transformers Prime and the Cybertron games, among others. Despite the blending of this with other versions of the origin for this movie, it does still reference, with various notes such as the 13 original Primes, their names and special, unique powers, and the friendship and inevitable split between Pax and D-16, the Aligned Continuity. Even the way Shockwave and Soundwave naturally fall under Megatron after his self-christening is meant to echo the way that they followed him in his gladiator days, because he proved through combat that he was stronger. There's almost too many references to mame, like Cliffjumper, Jazz, and Ironhide having their Fall of Cybertron design worked into their pre-spark forms. Each part of the film made me respect the amount of research that went into it, and that despite creating, technically, yet another version of the origin story, it gathers together so many elements from across the franchise so faithfully that it feels like Transformers: Universe finally got the film it deserved. Oh, and the Megatron triple blaster is from Fall of Cybertron as well, it's his signature weapon in the game.
Fun fact: if you stop on every scoreboard scene in the race scene, you could see blurr, cliffjumper (from tfp), breakdown (tfp also), hot rod (og transformers) and motor master (og transformers also) and more
Watching a real OG fan react to this movie really made it better. I loved the movie, but I still don't know how close or far they are to lore. Seeing you identify bots immediately was so cool.
Man, you have no idea how much respect the writers showed to TF lore in this movie. Like the storyline of the Quintessons and the missing cogs is from the G1 continuity, where the Quintessons ruled Cybertron, and took the cogs of a ton of Transformers to keep them weak, and in slavery. (they revolted tho, and kicked the Quintessons off of Cybertron) Cybertron being a dystopia is from the IDW comics, where bots were put into different castes depending on what their alt-mode was. The top of the heirerchy had it pretty good, but the low castes had a very rough time. Even Megatron's D-16 origin comes from that continuity (D-16 was the member of the lowest caste, the miners, who weren't allowed to own anything not even proper names, they were called by their serial numbers) Megatron's and Orion's close friendship is form the Aligned continuity (which borrowed a ton from IDW too) They were revolutionists who fought agianst Sentinel (who was a puppet ruler just like in TF One), and Cybertron's corrupt government (Megatron wanted to burn their corrupt civilization down, and build it anew, while Orion thought that their society could be fixed peacfully). There are a ton of other things too, like B's knifehands are from TFA, Sentinel's design, and personality was pretty much influenced by his TFA version too (most notably his huge chin) Megatron killing Orion before he was rebuilt to house the Matrix is a story element from the G1 series. Starscream being the member of the Prime's military unit is from the ALigned continuity (where he was the head of the security detail of the Primes, later became the Sky commander of the Tripticon orbital station, which Megatron invaded, beat Starscream up, killed his scientists, took his men, and blew up his station- this resulted in Starscrem swearing fealty to Megatron) etc
@@pepita2437 They never took their cogs in the G1 cartoon, it was an invention by the Autobots during one of the wars leading up to the one that the cartoon focuses on. And Cybertron being a dystopia is from far more than just the IDW comics, that may have been where the concept originated but practically every series incorporates that in one manner or another since then, same goes for Megatron and Optimus' friendship except that started with the 07 film. And no, Bee's knifehands are decidedly not from TFA, those were electric stingers mainly used for wiring and other electrical engineering. How can you be so confidently wrong about so many things all at once?
@@tracytron7162 First of all, check your facts. XD Optimus, and Megatron's friendship is a realtively new thing, it was first introduced in the IDW comics (for a brief time they were friends there, but their friendship did not last that long, nor it was that deep) This is a story element which was itroduced in the early 2000's, ( first by IDW which started running in 2005, and the Aligned continuity was the one which actually explored this theme btw) no, this was not a lore element present in most continuities (before the early 2000's this was not a thing). And no, this was not a thing the Baymovies invented. (since IDW predates the Bayvers movies) Also the designs of B's knife hands are from TFA. Even if it had different function (and looked a little different) in the animated series, B also used it for fighting, and the desigsn are very similar. With this you just literally splitting hair my guy. XD Both designs are just electric/energy sharp things coming out of his hands. Regarding the cogs, I was talking about the G1 continuity btw, not the cartoon. In the g1 continuity the Transformers were created by the Quintessons, and the whole Cybertron was a production facility. The Quintessons kept the Cybertronians in slavery and weak by taking some of their cogs.
@pepita2437 The IDW comics do predate the films, yes, but Megatron Origin, which presented this history, was not published until the same month as the 07 film was released, and given how long comic books take to produce compared to movies, and given that 07 has the explicit line from Megatron: "We were brothers once!" It's pretty safe to say the 07 depiction came first, even if the first issue of Megatron Origin may have released a couple weeks earlier. And I never said it was a plot element in the early 2000's, I don't know where you got that from. And yes, I'm aware in the G1 cartoon continuity the Quintessons are presented as creating the Transformers (Although that has long since been retconned into a lie, but that's besides the point) but the Quintessons never took their t-cogs because they literally didn't have any at that point. If you actually watched the cartoon (Specifically the multi-part episode Five Faces Of Darkness) you'd know that. And the knife hands really aren't TFA Bee's stingers. They're just wrist-swords, like in the Bumblebee movie, but with an energon glow like Optimus' axe or his swords in the Bay films. I hardly think you could call those stingers, as they don't have any electrical effects nor can they work as blasters like TFA Bee's stingers, instead having completely different blasters for ranged combat in TFOne
I actually really liked Chris as Orion, sometimes it just sounded like Chris but other times you could hear Optimus come through, i do believe there was an interview where Chris mentioned he did work with Peter Cullen to get the voice right and i think it really shows in the later half of the movie ❤
I know I only grew up with the bay trilogy and the cybertron games, but this was still an absolute treat to watch with my Mom. Felt like a true Transformers film.
As a Transformers fan since G1 and the 90’s era, this movie makes me really happy to see Elita One get more focused and action. Scarlet Johansson fits perfectly for the character like she did with Black widow. I hope our favorite female Autobot lives longer in surviving the upcoming Autobot-Decepticon Civil War in future sequels. The only animated show where Elita one I know alive with Optimus Prime is in Earthspark. None of us want Orion/Optimus to suffered like he is in Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy Netflix series. This movie really brings so many highlights to Elita, and how it made her to a badass female Autobot long time fans have really wanted to see.
She never died in the G1 cartoon, she just never appeared again because it was an awful glorified toy comercial with zero sense of continuity. Also she lived throughout the entirety of IDW 1.0 comics and is a major player in the current comics.
@@monged4life442 Yeah, cause it was a "boys toyline". The original character concepts even had Ratchet as a woman but Hasbro axed that because the execs were (And still are tbh) sexist pigs that think boys would hate any toys of female characters. The writers had to fight tooth and nail to get Arcee into the 86 film, and then Elita-One and her squad was added into season 2 (Season 2 and the 86 film were in production at the same time in case you didn't know, the 86 film just took longer to make) to give her a precedent.
@@monged4life442 That happens sometimes. For example "The New Adventures of He-Man" had two heroines (Drissi and Mara) who appeared in multiple episodes even though they didn't have figures. Same with Abby Arcane in the Swamp Thing cartoon.
The voice acting in this movie felt so fun! While I was initially hesitant about Hemsworth, his Pax/Prime performance was very well done and complements/is complemented well by Henry's D-16/Megatron. It's just a shame this movie wasn't advertised nearly as well as it should've been.
The thing I loved about the comedy in this is that they knew right where the line was where it'd get excessive, and pulled back from said line right as they approached.
Transformers One was a beautiful, beautiful movie that absolutely got the short end of the stick in terms of trailers and marketing. It's a fantastic take of how Megatron and Optimus Prime began, as well as a great story about freedoms, autonomy, and action/inaction. Not to mention, it looked beautiful!
The amount of lore you know about transformers without even letting anyone know that you know the lore is absolutely amazing because I’m learning new things
I love the way you commentate on the camera movements and the lighting and stuff. It's those simple yet important things that don't get a lot of credit in animation since it's all done digitally. And i enjoyed your explanations on how shots are composed.
I absolutely LOVED this film, probably my favorite of the year so far ( I still gotta wait for Sonic 3) Although the lack of Peter Cullens iconic voice for Optimus was unfortunate, Chris Hemsworth did a great job.
They said that they did it because they needed a younger voice for a much younger Orion/Optimus, seeing is Prime is thousands of years old in the Bay movies, and in the OG cartoon.
@@grimzin1655 Bayverse isn't the only Transformers. Peter Cullen is the original voice of Optimus Prime from G1. Which is generally why we keep wanting him back in the role. But yes, the logic of the character being much younger does track with using a younger voice actor, who at moments almost transitions to the old one.
After hearing Hasbro is no longer financing Paramount due to the past failures in the Bay movies. I hope Transformers Two isn’t in jeopardy. Director Josh Cooley had plans for a sequel. I wanna see the aftermath of Transformers One and how Optimus becomes a better leader as he realizes his past selfish actions as Orion have everlasting consequences.
Given how this movie is huge with both fans and newcomers, I'd say it's a safe bet that it'll get sequels and/or spawn a new animated show. A lot of us G1 fans don't like the Bayverse stuff, so it's really refreshing to see someone doing Transformers right again.
8 minutes in, gotta say, I love how you're reacting/analyzing the movie. And it helps that you're obviously a fan because you can recognize all those background characters, whereas most people think they're just generic-bots.
I've never come across this channel before, but when I heard, "Is that Red Alert?"I knew I was gonna love the video!! Definitely gonna check out your other stuff once I'm done with this video 👌
42:11 something that I didn't catch at first was that they grey out and rust when they die. I didn't notice it with Orion because of the lighting, but it's more noticeable with Sentinel 43:11 that's the model for Shockwave's canon in the Cybertron games. Also, Megatronus Prime's model bares a resemblance to Tarn, a Decepticon introduced in IDW's More Than Meets The Eye comic, Tarn was an Autobot named Damus/Glitch who was turned, rebuilt, and trained by Megatron himself (in his only show appearance, Cyberverse, he's referred to as the "Perfect Decepticon") Tarn is my favorite Decepticon and I actually yelled out in theaters when I saw that his model was Megatronus 45:31 Megatron has tear streaks going down his face
I find it interesting when he says “oh that’s new” when hearing that primos transformed himself into cybertron, that’s been a fact all the way back in G1
The real genius of this movie, canon wise, is that it pretty much works as the origin of every version of the canon. G1, Bayverse, Prime, unified continuity, ...any of them. That way, it can appeal to any Transformers fan, regardless ofmwhen they grew up or found the franchise.
45:41 - 45:47 I saw someone else say it but I’m gonna say it as well. When optimus puts down his mask when he says Megaton betrayed him, he’s doing as a way to say “I’m saying this as Orion Pax, not Optimus Prime” But Megatron doesn’t see Orion, all he sees is a prime, so he calls him “prime”
In the uk version of this They made it instead of "i have knife hands." It's "i have sword hands" I don't fully know why for the change But the trailers didn't do the movie justice it looked more like a comedy
I'm latinamerican but watched the movie in english. I think I heard "Sword hands" and not "Knife Hands". I think it will depend exactly where you watch it
@Deceptinerd1995 That's what the uk version means since I saw it in the uk And from the trailers, it said knife hands So, with reasoning, I can conclude it was changed
I adore all the references in this film. As soon as I saw that they were using the thirteen primes lore but I knew this would be great. Really hope frank welker and petter Cullen make cameos in the sequels.
It’s so wonderful being able to point out the little nods in the background. Also I adore how you can tell a lot of this takes inspiration from Prime: the blue energon, Airachnid, the backgrounds were initially even going to be gladiator and data clerk and while they changed that you still see the deep influence in characterizing the main duo. It’s wonderful. Beautiful nods to the older shows we adore all the while making new dynamics and fun takes on everyone
Also I totally understand not liking the mouth, but I honestly love it. It’s carrying over from Prime, the comics, so on and so forth. It also adds so much symbolism to the moment of “And you betrayed… me” his voice softens to Orion, his face is shown, that face that is distinctly Orion Pax, whereas Optimus Prime was the one speaking about betraying Cybertron/its citizens. It is so potent. I hope in a sequel if there is one we get to see the progression. Mask up more as he has to front as Optimus, then removing it for the more personal and sensitive moments as Pax
45:45 I like that he says "you betrayed Cybertron and its citizens" with the mask on, and says "and you betrayed me" with the mask off. He first speaks in an emotionally detached way, as a leader passing a judgement to a crime. But then he shows his true face, and speaks as Orion, a friend betrayed, a friend hurt deeply by someone he called a brother.
Nice vid bro:D Really loved to see you explain how the way they showed the different frames shows what they wanted us to feel and see in the movie. It was even more amazing when I noticed you know about Transformers and was fantastic! Have a nice day
An interesting tidbit, whenever a Transformer dies, if you look closely you can see they actually lose their colour. Just like when Optimus died in the OG. Orion Pax is colourless when falling, though it's difficult to notice because of the lighting, if you don't know ahead of time. And when Sentinel gets Jazz'd, he also loses his colour and turns gunmetal grey. Oh, and this isn't part of the Bayverse. Here Sentinel dies from Megatron doing him like my boy Jazz. In the Bayverse, Sentinel is killed by Optimus in cold blood. Literally. Sentinel is wounded by Megatron, who saved Optimus' life. Then Megatron basically says "I just want to be back in charge and go home, who would we be without each other" and then Optimus just goes "no, screw you" and rips his head off with an axe. Sentinel is now kneeling on the floor, wounded and no longer a threat, and he explains that even though he made a deal with Megatron and was gonna destroy Earth, he only did it because he truly thought that was the only way to save Cybertron. Optimus picks up Megatron's gun, walks up behind Sentinel and blasts him in the back, then finishes him off with a headshot. Bayverse Optimus is a damn psychopath.
What really makes Megatron's turn more heartbreaking was that when he said "Why did you do that, WHY?!", he was saying that to himself, not Orion. And then at the end, the reason why they were in that volcanic area was because it was a place where the Energon didn't reach.
I am very glad to have found your channel with this video! I loved the Transformers lore knowledge you dropped, but also the filmmaking aspect that you kept highlighting. Earned a follow!
Your video in my suggestions was the final straw i needed to go and actually watach the movie. And right after i was done i came straight back here. Thank you for that final push as well as the excellent reaction
Extra fact: Sentinel´s goons are all generic "Vehicons" from Transformers Prime, show from which Airachnid also came. Meanwhile, the seekers (Starscream repaints) have never been so varied: different heads, wing designs, cockpits, air intakes and weapons for each of them, plus the usual color variation. Bonus from the fact that when Skywarp says "WHAT!?" after Orion tries his "roll out" line, that was the director himself doing the line.
On the 'Con side, among the High Guard, I'm pretty sure we saw Slipstream (the purple lady body we saw a few times) and Thundercracker and Skywarp were the pair pointing guns at our crew when they first woke up (I caught glimpses of blue-TC-and purple-SW, and Skywarp was listed in the voice cast, he might have been the one that said 'What?' lmao) so they weren't all like, same faced and generic. There were some known Cons there. The ones on Sentinel's side, I think are just like drones/grunts? Mass produced clones so they're meant to look the same.
If you look closely at pivotal moments, D-16's are gradually changing to red. The most noticeable times are when he beats Starscream in the slomo shot and when Orion tells him to not be like Sentenal. Also the scene where Megatron get's banished you can see that he had wet streaks on his face from crying.
I'm pretty sure this is in the Bumblebee universe since they call Bee, B-127, and they don't get rid of his voice, setting up Blitzwing to later take it.
If you look real close D-16's eyes slowly start changing. They also got Brian Tyler who did the music for Transformers Prime to also do the score on this movie.
Yeah, Prime comes in a second favorite slot after G1 for me. It's another example of them doing the franchise right. They even used a bit of the Prime theme in the music.
Man knows the G1 Transformers!! New to this channel, (instant subscribe) but you're instantly GOATed for all Transformers knowledge. Interesting fact, the Decepticon logo was inspired from Soundwave's head design, just like you mentioned at 9:56
@ prime is a pretty good series even if the character designs were based on bayverse in fact the prime theme song also played in this at one point, airrachnid was a character from that show as well,as for the mouth I personally think they just did that so Orion/optimus could show more emotion the same as they did with having their eyes not be just one solid color. First time I remember him having a mouth was optimus primal in beast wars so maybe it’s from that…there are a lot of other references from other series as well like bumblebees knife hands and mask being from transformers animated
@@kaizammit the only other thing I can think of where it came from was this weird story book that I have,it’s a transformers book and prime has no face plate, cliffjumper has big cartoony eyes in car mode and megatron was driving a big black Cadillac,I don’t know where I put that book at the moment but there’s pics of it online.all I remember other than that stuff is they are having a race for charity or something
This was a masterfully crafted film, made by the legends at Industrial Light and Magic, the makers of the Transformers Michael Bay films, which I’m incredibly certain these won’t lead into, with these films instead bringing us back into either the Generation 1 continuity, or the Aligned continuity (Prime). I LOVED that in this film, they actually used their alternate forms as weapons, which I don’t think we’ve seen too much of in any other continuity. Paramount did this film so dirty. I will never forgive them for that. I’m beyond thrilled to see you’re also a Transformers fan, picking out all the little references and characters, and for that, I’m subscribing.
2:00 he said it! 😂 (for those who don’t understand Laurence Fishburne was in the matrix. Just find it funny that the dude teaching about the matrix all over again 😭)
For what it's worth, I do think part of the reason they made the people working for Sentinal so generic is that they were basically "Drones?" Built because only bots with Cogs would have weapons, and Sentinal made sure most bots don't have Cogs anymore so if there's ever an uprising his drones have weapons, the populace largely doesn't, so that's even less incentive for rebellion. Like, even the minors said it. They can't fight cause they don't have Cogs. But from a purely design standpoint, I understand the gripe and maybe giving a distinction like Melee Drones being Gold and Ranged Drones as Blue would have worked. But I also think the idea is to make D's fall worse. Because D-16 wants all of Sentinal's followers dead. But like 99% are drones. You've got Airachnid and MAYBE Darkwing, but I don't think it's clear whether he knew what Sentinal was doing because he acted on his own in sending D/Pax to sublevel 50 and he simply came off like a bully, but he never even spoke to Sentinal on screen, so I imagine all he was told is "Sentinal wants the minors working around the clock" and he's not gonna think anything of it, cause he doesn't care and he's seemingly just kind of prejudiced against no cog bots/minors. But I think the idea is that Megatron would just kill anyone he thought was in on the whole charade if he was in power. Which is odd because Soundwave can tell if a bot is lying, but that's probably getting too deep into things.
the 2007 Live Action movie will always be my favorite transformers movie, and my all time favorite movie just because of how it still gives me shivers, but this is a close second. I think this movie does a great job retelling the transformers origin in its own way
Honestly if it wasn't for the unexpected audience reactions, I would've ignored this film because the trailers and marketing weren't good and made feel like this more oriented towards children and thought it was gonna be more simplified but I'm so glad I gave a chance to watch this cause I loved the mature themes and the origins of the brotherhood between Optimus and Megatron, similar to like Professor X and Magneto; I loved the voices too, similarly to how Chris Pratt voiced Mario, I was genuinely surprised how much their voices fit these characters we're so used to hearing differently.
You know, I haven't seen anyone point it out yet but it's interesting. Sentinel says 'All shifts off' for the race. Except, during the race we see that there ARE some bots still working. We see Elita-1 working in waste disposal. And given that it seems like next to no one knows about sublevels 41-50 (given Orion and D's surprise at their existence), the bots down in THOSE were probably still working(esp the farther down you go, *gestures to Bee*). Which like, what happened to 'all shifts off Sentinel'??? Or was it just 'all shifts off, except you guys' I love the animation on the constantly shifting and moving spikes on the surface. Idk what it is about it but it just looks really cool. Like a wave but of solid metal instead of water or snow. Another little thing, is that when Optimus banishes Megatron, you can see tear tracks on Megatron's face.
Ok mr zammit i gotta be honest I got giddy like a school girl when you were noticing all the background characters It's nice that you know the lore and made this reaction 1000 times better
Mate I said loads but the editor cut it out. G1 is my jam. Got a couple of Soundwave's tattooed on my arm. I'm also very glad to hear you enjoyed the video. 🤘🏻
The best transformers movie we ever had in nearly 20 years! It fills me up with joy seeing transformers be actual characters and each with their own purpose and hopefully, if we get a sequel or a trilogy I hope we can get characters like jazz, ironhide, prow, soundwave, shockwave and starscream get major roles. I also really recommend watching War for/fall of cybertron game cutscenes in a meantime since the storyline of this movie and the games are really similar. Cheers!
I wish we saw Soundwave's minicons. If we had we could have seen how small humans really would have been if they were here. We could have seen Aerobolt (the blue eagle I think that's what he is from 2015 RID) but it was removed.
This movie i feel the polar opposite of when trailers spoil a movie. The trailers for this film really didnt do it justice and i feel the box office numbers suffered for it. I saw this in theaters bc i was bored and i used to play the old war for cybertron games. I was very pleasantly surprised when i walked out with more than my moneys worth.
Ok while I get what you say about the background characters like the minors and the seekers (High Guards) but there are more subtle details toward the High Guards. Basically there were other Seekers characters like RedWind, Slipstream and a green and yellow (can't remember the name as it hasn't got one but people says it could be a reference to Sturm something?)
And with that, the floodgates have opened. I'm glad you were able to take a look at this fantastic movies. If you want to check out more Transformers stuff that's video game based, I highly recommend the War for Cybertron & Fall of Cybertron cinematic trailers and cutscenes; do note that you'll have to watch through some gameplay to get the full experience of it, so a heads up there.
I wanted to hate this film so much going into it but when he did that initial fake transformation I did laugh and so gave it a proper try, was not left wanting, except for more :D the way they tied it all together at the end was beautifully savage.
The fact that you knew the characters and the lore made the video 10 times better

@@kaizammitI got a question for you.Would you be interested in reacting to the movie 65?It's a very interesting Movie you'll definitely like it
The mouthpiece coming off when he says "And you betrayed _me."_ felt like a great way to convay the personal level of their conflict. That when it was up he was speaking as a Prime, and when it was off he was speaking as a friend betrayed.
Optimus: You have betrayed Cybertron and it's citizens...
Orion: And you betrayed... me.
Gives me chills every dam time
I noticed on rewatches that you can actually see hints of D-16’s predisposition towards violence before he learns the truth about his society.
Also when D speaks about Megatronus he only mentions his strenght, not other qualities. Establishing early that strenght is the only thing he values.
Another thing to note is D believed in the system AND that he couldn't do anything about it... until he got Onyx Primes's cog.
It actually very rare to see people who react to this movie actually know their Transformers. This movie is easy to watch because you can actually map out the Hero Journey... I remember watching this movie in cinema and moment i see Wheeljack during the mining montage, i was like "Oh no, everybots get out from there!"
I love that it was Wheeljack who caused the explosion, so on brand for him.
Also, Megatron yells his name with music in the background while Prime’s name is said with calm and no music. This movie has a lot of great details!
I really liked look upon Optimus' unmoving, pallid corpse face as it falls down
So fun fact about the red streaks coming from Megatron's eyes.
That would make sense, pretty awesome! I've not seen that but I totally get it.
@@kaizammit you should totally check out Gundam IBO, its one of the best gundam shows and has a very mature theme.

@@johnhalo-ug4go I believe it was the directors Twitter.
I loved the bits where you go "Is that X?", shows all the cameos put in for the transformers fans.
Always have fella ✌🏻👍🏻
I find it very suspicious that every single t-cog emits a blue light in TF One (the color of Energon/the blood of Primus in the Aligned continuity) except the cog of Megatronus' who's cog is purple (which is the color of the blood of Unicron/Dark Energon)
I think there is more to the lore of the Primes than what we were shown int the movie.
48:50 some people already know this but you can see the Decepticon logo fade into its G1 colors
51:40 So the 'canon fodder' for Sentinel's militia were probably Vehicons (or their precursors), i.e. mass-produced low IQ arguably non-sentient, well, canon fodder. It's so you can have guilt free casualty's on the enemy side without killing off a fan favorite.
Indeed. A similar thing is done in the video game Transformers: Devastation.
@@Wright805and in transformers prime
And then the shiny but bland drones make sense as Sentinel's guards because of what you said
Everything about this movie is a love letter to every generation of Transformers fans, and everyone can see how much care was put into it.
Which I think is one of the most excellent use of sound design I have ever heard in animation.
what Im really into already- most of the time when I see these "Filmmaker reacts" videos and stuff, you don't- really get that impression from them, and then here comes you, with- you CLEARLY know your stuff, and you're using the terminology frequently, like Im only 9 minutes into the video here and already I can get a grasp for just how technical you are, how keen your eyes and ears are to point out certain things, like the lack of music in a scene, the lack of movement in the camera in a scene, even the way things are lit
AND you clearly know your stuff, pointing out bots like Red Alert, Sunstreaker- even catching _Hound_ when he passes D-16 on the train- who _I_ thought at first was Moonracer! I thought that was a woman that walked past him there! 😂
absolutely delightful, you are, take my subscription, you
Thank you for watching, I really appreciate it! 🙏🏻
Many of the character designs, such as Starscream, are based on appearances in the IDW comics, and I believe Optimus' look is based upon some of the art from the Marvel comics (not confirmed, just a certain visual likeness to my eye.)
The various media that references D-16 tends to claim he was a gladiator who battled in the "fight pits" for the entertainment of the Cybertronian elites, forming a dedicated cadre of followers among fellow gladiators like Soundwave and Motormaster; these became the foundation of the Decepticons, when D-16 managed to get into contact with a librarian named Orion Pax, who worked in Iacon.
I missed CliffJumper! Where was he!?! I've also not seen the Unicorn Trilogy.
Fun fact: if you stop on every scoreboard scene in the race scene, you could see blurr, cliffjumper (from tfp), breakdown (tfp also), hot rod (og transformers) and motor master (og transformers also) and more
Chromia winning the race is a nice change of pace, as she's often killed off in many of the continuities.
Cliffjumper and Breakdown are from the original cartoon
Except there's a mining bot also called Chromia.
(they revolted tho, and kicked the Quintessons off of Cybertron)
Cybertron being a dystopia is from the IDW comics, where bots were put into different castes depending on what their alt-mode was. The top of the heirerchy had it pretty good, but the low castes had a very rough time. Even Megatron's D-16 origin comes from that continuity (D-16 was the member of the lowest caste, the miners, who weren't allowed to own anything not even proper names, they were called by their serial numbers)
Megatron's and Orion's close friendship is form the Aligned continuity (which borrowed a ton from IDW too) They were revolutionists who fought agianst Sentinel (who was a puppet ruler just like in TF One), and Cybertron's corrupt government (Megatron wanted to burn their corrupt civilization down, and build it anew, while Orion thought that their society could be fixed peacfully).
@@tracytron7162
First of all, check your facts. XD
Optimus, and Megatron's friendship is a realtively new thing, it was first introduced in the IDW comics (for a brief time they were friends there, but their friendship did not last that long, nor it was that deep) This is a story element which was itroduced in the early 2000's, ( first by IDW which started running in 2005, and the Aligned continuity was the one which actually explored this theme btw) no, this was not a lore element present in most continuities (before the early 2000's this was not a thing). And no, this was not a thing the Baymovies invented. (since IDW predates the Bayvers movies)
Also the designs of B's knife hands are from TFA.
I hate that they butchered the marketing of this movie. They made it seem dumb in the trailers. But it's actually a really well done origin story.
I think it's fantastic! When marketing fails, it stings.
I actually really liked Chris as Orion, sometimes it just sounded like Chris but other times you could hear Optimus come through, i do believe there was an interview where Chris mentioned he did work with Peter Cullen to get the voice right and i think it really shows in the later half of the movie ❤
You know it a good thing when Thor actually ask the original Prime himself for help
As someone who never watched the Marvel films, I was unburdened by the fact that he had a recognizable voice
@@tracytron7162 It being a glorified toy commercial made the female autobot cameo all the weirder as they didn't get toys.
Yes. It's very much akin to the G1 mixture of storytelling and comedy.
This is my favourite movie of the year. I can relate fully to that achy face from smiling so much! Great, thank you
I love the way you commentate on the camera movements and the lighting and stuff. It's those simple yet important things that don't get a lot of credit in animation since it's all done digitally. And i enjoyed your explanations on how shots are composed.
I absolutely LOVED this film, probably my favorite of the year so far ( I still gotta wait for Sonic 3)
Although the lack of Peter Cullens iconic voice for Optimus was unfortunate, Chris Hemsworth did a great job.
He eventually grew on me.
They said that they did it because they needed a younger voice for a much younger Orion/Optimus, seeing is Prime is thousands of years old in the Bay movies, and in the OG cartoon.
@@grimzin1655 Makes sense! I do sincerely hope they make another one of these!!
I see a lot of potential for transformers one
He actually wanted to create an entire trilogy :) which would be so great if they’re given the green light
@@PocketBroccoli Since the movie is a success, I would say they deserve a trilogy
@ it wasn’t a success financially unfortunately 🫠 but it’s got an amazing reputation
42:50
The transformers prime theme build into the score hits me so hard every time it's amazing
1:42 idk if u already knew or not, but primus being cybertron isnt new
42:11 something that I didn't catch at first was that they grey out and rust when they die. I didn't notice it with Orion because of the lighting, but it's more noticeable with Sentinel
43:11 that's the model for Shockwave's canon in the Cybertron games.
Also, Megatronus Prime's model bares a resemblance to Tarn, a Decepticon introduced in IDW's More Than Meets The Eye comic, Tarn was an Autobot named Damus/Glitch who was turned, rebuilt, and trained by Megatron himself (in his only show appearance, Cyberverse, he's referred to as the "Perfect Decepticon") Tarn is my favorite Decepticon and I actually yelled out in theaters when I saw that his model was Megatronus
45:31 Megatron has tear streaks going down his face
But then why most of the 13 primes still retained there colour like megatronus was bright in colours including few others
One critism about backstory is how quickly all Primes died. In many continuities they were so powerful.
They really made a movie both for fans and newcomers. And that's not easy to do. Props to them for really doing Transformers right.
45:41 - 45:47
I saw someone else say it but I’m gonna say it as well.
When optimus puts down his mask when he says Megaton betrayed him, he’s doing as a way to say “I’m saying this as Orion Pax, not Optimus Prime”
But Megatron doesn’t see Orion, all he sees is a prime, so he calls him “prime”
It's great seeing someone react and know the content quickly. So many fake it and fans can see it. Great reaction, sir.
Thank you for watching fella!
In the uk version of this
They made it instead of "i have knife hands."
It's "i have sword hands"
I don't fully know why for the change
But the trailers didn't do the movie justice it looked more like a comedy
I think it's because of all the knife laws over there. Because apparently, the UK bans knives.
@@Baldwin-iv445 yet they still have stabbings...
@@SeanPS Exactly.
I'm latinamerican but watched the movie in english. I think I heard "Sword hands" and not "Knife Hands". I think it will depend exactly where you watch it
@Deceptinerd1995 That's what the uk version means since I saw it in the uk
And from the trailers, it said knife hands
So, with reasoning, I can conclude it was changed
Major respect for the Lego delorean and starlink Arwing in the background
It's more personal and I agree with you, it's definitely what they went for.
Nice vid bro:D
Really loved to see you explain how the way they showed the different frames shows what they wanted us to feel and see in the movie. It was even more amazing when I noticed you know about Transformers and was fantastic!
Have a nice day
Glad you liked it!
And right after i was done
i came straight back here. Thank you for that final push as well as the excellent reaction
Thank you for watching, it means a lot! Glad you enjoyed the movie and video.
As a Transformers fan from the very start of the toys in the 80s, this movie was such a gift.
Till All are One!
OMG I did not expect you to react to this, this movie was so fucking good!
I loved it fella!
38:55 that timing 😂
If you look closely at pivotal moments, D-16's are gradually changing to red. The most noticeable times are when he beats Starscream in the slomo shot and when Orion tells him to not be like Sentenal. Also the scene where Megatron get's banished you can see that he had wet streaks on his face from crying.
You said badges and all I could think of was, "We don't need no stinking badges!" 😂
This is my favorite reaction video for TF One. Love how you spotted so many easter eggs. Cheers.
Glad you enjoyed it and thank you for commenting.
15:15 it’s new cuz sentinel prime is in the Bayverse
I'm pretty sure this is in the Bumblebee universe since they call Bee, B-127, and they don't get rid of his voice, setting up Blitzwing to later take it.
@@StarWars.Gamer06 I think it's actually been confirmed as its own continuity.
42:14 if you watch sentinel as his eyes go out, the color also fades from his body just like it does in G1. a nice detail that I'm in love with.
I saw someone point out this detail and I love it. Optimus earned his name but Megatron took the name for himself
If you look real close D-16's eyes slowly start changing. They also got Brian Tyler who did the music for Transformers Prime to also do the score on this movie.
If you're gonna continue doing movies and TV shows, I DEFINITELY recommend Transformers Prime, it's one of the best Transformers shows EVER
Yeah, Prime comes in a second favorite slot after G1 for me. It's another example of them doing the franchise right. They even used a bit of the Prime theme in the music.
Yeah, and TF One tooka ton of lore elements from TFp (Meagtron's,and Orion's friendship is one exmple)
Never have I ever wanted a video more but also never expected you to do it
I aim to please. Haha
Man knows the G1 Transformers!! New to this channel, (instant subscribe) but you're instantly GOATed for all Transformers knowledge. Interesting fact, the Decepticon logo was inspired from Soundwave's head design, just like you mentioned at 9:56
That's awesome thank you! That's my boy!
If you notice at 49:50, the decepticon logo has the OG colors.
The “generic canon fodder” are based on the vehicons from the transformers prime series…..where they were generic cannon fodder lol
I never watched that series sadly, heard it's good though. Also where Primes mouth display came from right?
@ prime is a pretty good series even if the character designs were based on bayverse in fact the prime theme song also played in this at one point, airrachnid was a character from that show as well,as for the mouth I personally think they just did that so Orion/optimus could show more emotion the same as they did with having their eyes not be just one solid color.
First time I remember him having a mouth was optimus primal in beast wars so maybe it’s from that…there are a lot of other references from other series as well like bumblebees knife hands and mask being from transformers animated
That's true but Optimus Primal also had a whole section cut out for him. I'm looking at my Masterpiece of him just remind my self. 💪🏻✌🏻
I love how knowledgeable you are of Transformers. Great video
II was naming each character too! You are a serious fan.
I’m surprised you didn’t catch Airachnid in her first appearance, you seem to know a lot of characters.
To be fair, Prime Airachnid and One Airachnid look very different.
Thank you!
2:00 he said it! 😂 (for those who don’t understand Laurence Fishburne was in the matrix. Just find it funny that the dude teaching about the matrix all over again 😭)
Finally someone notices the change in background color in D's betrayal 🔥
34:17 Ironic that Shockwave, the most "logical and emotionless one of the franchise", would so emotionally expressive here.
so excited for more movie reactions!!!
the 2007 Live Action movie will always be my favorite transformers movie, and my all time favorite movie just because of how it still gives me shivers, but this is a close second.
My guy knows his transformers
dude it about time some reactors know some lore and background information, loved it.
Or was it just 'all shifts off, except you guys'
I love the animation on the constantly shifting and moving spikes on the surface. Idk what it is about it but it just looks really cool. Like a wave but of solid metal instead of water or snow.
Another little thing, is that when Optimus banishes Megatron, you can see tear tracks on Megatron's face.
You sounded like me in the theatres, just naming every transformer I see
Haha, that's awesome!
Mate you look so much like obi wan that makes me imagine this channel is just obi's way of copeing after mustafar 😭
More movie or even show reactions would be cool.
Ok mr zammit i gotta be honest
I got giddy like a school girl when you were noticing all the background characters
It's nice that you know the lore and made this reaction 1000 times better
Mate I said loads but the editor cut it out. G1 is my jam. Got a couple of Soundwave's tattooed on my arm. I'm also very glad to hear you enjoyed the video. 🤘🏻
@kaizammit yeah
Most reactors don't know the lore so all the references are lost on them
It was a nice change of pace with this reaction
The best transformers movie we ever had in nearly 20 years! It fills me up with joy seeing transformers be actual characters and each with their own purpose and hopefully, if we get a sequel or a trilogy I hope we can get characters like jazz, ironhide, prow, soundwave, shockwave and starscream get major roles.
I also really recommend watching War for/fall of cybertron game cutscenes in a meantime since the storyline of this movie and the games are really similar.
Cheers!
You know who brawn is. You have earned my respect
Totally agree! Makes a change tbh.
KAI YOU NEED TO WATCH THE WFC AND FOC CUTSCENES AHHHHH
Planned for early next year!
😊 It's such a good movie! Hopefully, we get a sequel!!
Hasbro has already said they dont want to be involved with movies anymore
It’s a really good chance they will
And with that, the floodgates have opened.
On my list for early next year! 💪🏻✌🏻
Beat me to it. @kaizammit can't wait to see your reactions, mate. Loved those games, what transformers should be when for teenagers and adults.
Let's go another video
I hope we get sequel because that means we are basically getting war for Cybertron, man that would be so cool.
I wanted to hate this film so much going into it but when he did that initial fake transformation I did laugh and so gave it a proper try, was not left wanting, except for more :D the way they tied it all together at the end was beautifully savage.
