    One suggestion is to replace those white paper towels with blue paper shop towels they don't disintegrate immediately, you can hang to dry and reuse, after 50 years with the Boy Scouts I would not go with out them!!!!

    This was incredibly helpful as someone who's about to acquire a scamp and know basically nothing about RVs.

    Great vid as usual. The only item I would add to your list is a small toolbox kit, which only needs the very basics. Plier, screwdriver, utility knife, zip ties, adjustable wrench and duct tape. Happy Camping!

    I think that you are frugal. You are discerning and are a good steward of resources so that you provide the experiences of value for your family. That is not cheap. 😁

    I would add a Swiss army knife because it has a blade, screwdrivers and most importantly a can opener, a long stem lighter for your campstove and MOST importantly a roll of duct tape which can fix everything from a broken pole or tarp to almost any kind of leak

      Yes! Definitely a good idea (perhaps we should get that!!!)

    I have two chock locks. Mostly because I'm special. But also because if you have only one it's relatively easy to take off the entire wheel, lock and all, and put on your spare. Having two wheels chock locked makes stealing your little house less likely.

    How about a netted dining fly? We’ve used one for years. If you roll it really tight it’ll fit under the bed with the chairs. Keeps the bugs away and you can cook under it too.

    Great Video!! Do you have a pdf with photos? If now, you should make one with all the goodies you've learned that are essentials. Even without all the info, they would be a great starting point for someone, especially a newbie. When my kids were little a friend had her list of stuff - I made a copy and I still have it! Since then, I've learned that, when writing, I save myself a lot of time if I use a small handheld recorder - Sony is the best.

    Another great video! I was curious…what video editor do you use? I need a better less complicated one for my videos. Also you might want to think about building a chuck box. I have a video on my channel about mine. In 15 months (or so) when I get my Scamp I plan on using it instead of the kitchen area. It holds all my cooking gear and is my portable kitchen. I plan in either keeping it in the car or Scamp while traveling. Thanks!

    • @ladyandthescamp
      @ladyandthescamp  2 роки тому

      I just use the iMovie that came for free with my Mac. :) It’s really simple to learn but is limited in scope. We kind of have a chunk box, since we almost never cook in the scamp. Thanks for the rec!

    You think everybody lives like you which is probably true because most of them probably do but you need to develop your acronyms and your pronouns and your nouns to a wider audience
