Your journey reminds me of my journey to Mae Salong. Never thought that the temperatur in Thailand could be so cold. Specially at night. It was great. Thx for bringing back good memorys.

Wow Gabi you found that rare beast, a bright spot in Thai tourism in the hills outside Chiang Mai. I travelled to Doi Inthanon over a decade ago with friends. I felt it was a rip off for farang back then as well although I don't think we were charged extra for the temples. Seems to have been a bit of landscaping around them since I visited. It was a wet day and we didn't make it to the highest point unfortuneatly.
