In my opinion there are two types of gamers they are:
1. Casual gamer : people who play games for time pass.
2. Hardcore gamer : people who spends more time into games like speed running, mastering a games mechanics etc....
I personally recently completed almost every Zelda game except four swords and the adventure of link, triforce heros.
Also completing souls games except ds2.
Pokemon, Grand Theft Auto, Red Dead, Final Fantasy(except 2d games) franchises also completed.
Still the only game I mastered are sekiro(spend 117hours) , totk(spend 391hours), ac origins (84hours spend).
I'm currently playing nier automata, it's a fricking masterpiece.
Also I spend 800+ hours in Minecraft back in pandemic 😑.
A professor is a professor..no matter what subject he is teaching..

2023-24 me bhi mai keypad phones ke game, j2me loader emulator se mobile me khelta hu because there are lot games on that platform that I found so good that I enjoyed v.much. Iska reason nostalgia nahi hai kyuki ye games mene recently hi discover kiye hai, such as:

Nowhere
Origon Trial Gold rush
Spiderman ultimate power
Heroes lore zero
Zombie infection
Etc
Ye games sirf 1MB(max) ki hoti hai to kaafi saari download kari ja sakti hai
Agar me mobile(smartphone) games ki baat karu to among us, minecraft, pubg 2019-20 me apni best form me the, there gameplay was actually enjoyable, but updates ne unhe bura banadiya. Ab in games ke devs ko sirf Paisa chahiye or games me se unki real soul ja chuki hai
Now the only game I love is Terraria. 11th most selling video game and overwhelmingly positive steam rating ke bawajood half of the Indian players iska naam bhi nahi suna hoga
Whenever I see my younger generation siblings or cousins watching mindless gameplay of minecraft and free fire of youtubers that can't even do nice commentary and engage their viewers I feel sad about them. Their mind is filling with trash
If I found games like GTA 5, minecraft, Call of duty for FREE, I still won't play them. Rather I will choose to play some games that are really good such as Portal 2, Half life 2, Outlast 1, Terraria, Faith the untold Trinity etc
I'm really lucky that I have played a lot of games rather than playing a few games for years

Now the people who play pubg and free fire why are they considered as fake gamers .
1. Thinking every other game that exists is thrash .
2. Some audience is good but most audience of these games have a habit of criticizing other games . No matter how a good game.
10 year old playing pubg, free fire comparing it to Masterpieces like god and Rdr 2 and saying they are thrash .These are the kind of gamers i hate the most criticizing a game without even playing it .
3. Their audience spends a lot of money in purchasing online items and upgrades but when it comes to story games they pirate it and try to look cool by spending money on online games which ultimately does not help game developers .
4. I have seen some gta 5 online players not playing the story only gta 5 online

I played cod mobile literally for 1 and a half year i learned how to quickscoping in cod for the first time. That 1 and a half year was the best year of my life❤ thanks to cod mobile even i got in three legendary ranks achievement in mp and 6/7 legendary rank achievement in br. I had a blast with a single game for 1 and a half yr. Its a very addictive game I would say😅 2021 November i had to uninstall the game that was a sad day for me but we have to move on. Those lobby music, season musics, comics in the game, zombie mode it had everything that a cod player needs,etc everything still feels fresh to me and i do have a strong nostalgia for that game😊. Pubg friends use to say me cod mobile is a bad game i didn't listened and i played alone as there were no friends to play with me as all were pubg guys😅 but slowly some of my batchmates starting to play the game we had a squad , i had a senior who was my battleroyale duos we played many matches of br.. whatever the game was peak during 2019 dec till i think early 2022(jun/july) its still is very good at that time it was at its peak. So i didn't think i am a fake gamer at that time because i loved the game, this fake or real comparison was not in my head just the game was there , for which i could enjoy the game and had memories with the game that's important. So everyone dont fall for this shitty comparison fake vs real gamer and play that you don't even like ,play what you like as @himanshurana says. Happy gaming guys👍🏻👍🏻🤟

I think gamer is gamer whether your playing java game/nes game or you are playing god of war Ragnarok or elden ring. lets be honest here gaming should be fun. it should give you a brand new experience in a way that doesnt break your bank. it rewards you for what you do. we should understand that there are games which are honestly very bad and should not be touched. because it subliminally brainwashes you into YOU the player using your money for something that is absolutely worthless. i call valorant free fire and bgmi dogshit simply because it brainwashes people into political agendas using REAL money to buy in game currency for items which has no monetary value. our base of gaming should be strong. but if these kind of games are our baseline our future in gaming is much worse than you can imagine. its not about having a good story or amazing writing anymore itsy about who spends the most money and that is what is brainwashing these kids and teenagers into using their parents hard earned money.
