LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY | The Roaches | Peak District
Вставка
- Опубліковано 15 вер 2024
- Craig spends an afternoon photographing the Roaches in the Peak District. He discusses composition, light, using polarising filters and why a tripod is essential for landscape photography.
Will clear skies prevent him from capturing dramatic results at the end of the day?...

Just found your channel - I live in the USA now but in all my years in England I never ever made it to the Lake District. I feel a trip coming on ;) Loved your wee joke about photoshopping in the sky. lol All the best and thanks for the videos
Cheers
Jim
+Jim Oates Hi Jim. Glad you liked the video. Yes, the Lake District is definitely a place to visit at least once. But keep it quiet, as everyone will want to go there otherwise! ;-)
More wonderful shots and excellent info. Great stuff!
Just love your videos, Mr Roberts. Learning a lot. Seems like a visit to UK is on the agenda. Tank you.
I won't go overboard but that was just a load of
Brilliance fantastic stuff Craig 😃
+Shaun Hilton High praise indeed! Thanks Shaun.
Another great Vlog Craig thanks for your useful tips and inspiration
Great vlog! Love how you explain your thought on composition and light with pictures you take. Inspiring :D
I love the way they've bent the gate at 8:47 so cars can get through.
Your best ever, you really showed what you can do if you work at it, (look)
very useful tips and beautiful shots, as always !
Another very informative video craig. I found the tip of using a nd grad with the polarizer a great help as i had a similar problem when shooting down in portland bill recently on a clear sunny day.
Keep up the great work Craig.
Amazing, loved it
Great info thanks. Being 15 with an omd em1 learning a lot from you.

you're an artist!
Nice video 👍
Thank you! e6 Vlogs...,
big thumbs up from me
Another really interesting video. Thanks for posting. Was trying to work out which camera you were using?
Hi Howard. I was shooting with my Olympus E-P5
hi there can I ask what filter holder do you use , I want one for sigma lens, great video
+Brent Jones Lee Seven5 system.
You take your tripod yet when you are seen walking, it's not visible. Where do you hide it? Always find the tripod a [necessary] pain to carry.
Love your videos, especially those in the Peak District, an area I know well. Was up at The Roaches in May taking photos. Think I'll go back to Stanage and try practise what you say. Long time since I've been to Ladybower - too may tourists even out of season now.
It's probably supporting the camera that is filming me walking!
I found your videos a few weeks ago. I love these type of fotos where you explain the process behind your fotos, something I have been looking for a while, but just a few people do these type of videos. I also shoot fotos (instagram: chefrist) and I like to shoot videos. You inspired me to try these type of fotos. Yesterday I shot all the fotos and videos in Berlin and today I edited them. Turns out I need to improve my english and my explanations, but all in all a great experience. I think these videos will improve my own skills, because I need to put more work into the thoughtprocess. Thx for your videos and inspiration!
+Machun Thankyou. There's loads more videos available on my website with my e6 Subscription, if you fancy it ;-) Good luck with your own videos.
+Craig Roberts i will lool it up later. Thx, hopefully they turn out great
Your last sentence was my concern during the video.
