Hey Shelly!!! I use to bartend in Mount Prospect and Rosemont area. The first thing I did with applying for different bars, I would go “bar shopping”. Eat and drink at the bars that you're interested in. Purposely sit at the bar and ask questions. You will be amazed what you learn about a place before even applying. Observe their “regulars” and the atmosphere first etc. Have fun with it of course. I hope this helps
