My Grandfather, was in the Portuguese Military back in 50's. He was one of the first Soldiers to Run one of AR-10s when The Portuguese Army where testing them, according to him, the AR-10 was shunned by Salazar the Dictator in preference for the G3. In 63' he was sent to Africa, issued with a G3 and he ended up requesting him and his squad to run the AR-10, as the G3 was just way too heavy for the type of engagement he was was facing, to which his superiors just ignored... My Father ran a Galil SAR 5.56 in his time (77 to 81) although he was trained with a G3 Para. He was adamant the Galil was superior in most cenarios. And then there's me, being UK born... I had the SA80 🤡 To me, the OG AMR Galil is the sexiest gun ever made...
Ah, Battle rifles, my favorite rifle. As a pre-teen I liked assault rifles but throughout the years I noticed they weren't powerful for me & thus my introduction to battle rifles was born. The G3, FAL, M14, MK14 mod 0, AR10, .308 Galil, M1 Garand, SG 542, SCAR-H, HK417, etc. I can keep gushing about these power houses.
Truth. To this day it still baffles me how as we become more "modern", our main ammo caliber becomes smaller. From the 8mm, to 7mm such as 7.62x51mm NATO, and we skipped the 6mm for some reason until we ultimately get to the 5.56.
I would actually LOVE if you did videos on guns that are actually in call of duty. Seeing the galil in your video made me want to try it out in COD, and knowing more about a gun kinda makes it more fun to play with.
Galil I will forever remember from CS 1.6. Old school days... The funny part is that it's supposed to be the 5.56 version but it's modelled after the 7.62 version.
@@andrewfarrugia6072 absolutely..Americans like you ensure that if any enemies think about setting foot on our homeland...the will have more than just marines to deal w..I love it..

It's crazy to know the AR10 came from Holland, and it was so ahead of its time. Gun maniacs owe their existence to the STG 44. You forget just how many weapons it spawned.
I have my .45’s and my m14 and I’m happy with that and the firearms along with my ability to shoot effectively makes me feel fairly safe. Buuuuuut my dream collection looks surprisingly like yours. It’s almost like you looked in my head and went and put it all together.
For the galil, 2 version were made by the Israeli and you have both. First was to be used as an assault rifle, while the second one was to be used as a light machine gun.
You've got a good voice for this stuff and your collection is INSANE. So please spend some money on a decent lapel mic, I can barely follow along because your mic levels aren't, well, level at all!
Love it - was watching you dispense this knowledge over breakfast! I was waiting for "freeeedom chocolate" the entire time you were presenting, and cracked up over the "she's thicc" comment. Very well done as always my man - thank you!
My question is why don't anyone make full auto rifles with a pump action style cocking? I mean charging handles come in the way in conjested places, atleast AR15 has the rear charging handle but others left or right charging handles that comes in contact with anything weather you wanna crawl and shoot or lean on a wall, it tend to snag a lot. But if the charging is done as a pump action gun under the barrel guard then it will be free from snags and very convenient. Please forward this idea to gun manufacturers and bring a change, a great innovation to me atleast. Please dont ignore this. Please. It will also save time as you dont have to change your hand position to charge the gun, it is already at the natural place on the gun. You dont have to keep moving to hand to charge.
what is that gun from 0:08 to 0:10? On first glance the mag made me think i was a 8mm kurz round gun but as I looked closer I though it looked more like an AR-18 or some gun that Sig made maybe? idk lol
What’s in the box was in the box a movie scene from the movie Se7en Starring Brad Pitt don’t watch that movie if you have a weak stomach. So my question is about the AK or the Galil if I spell that correctly. Am An American if I bought one of those two I feel that I’m not an American if I don’t own an A.R. 15 or ARI0. God bless the USA for American made rifles never going to shoot an AK or a gun for made in Europe. So correct me if I’m wrong I just feel in my heart that I’m an American citizen and I love American made firearms!
Ok kids sit down, when a… Soviet Svt40, G36, colt ar15 and a Vietnam M16 along with a Famas plus an M14 battle rifle love each other very much they make "OG Ar"

The AR-10 is simply the best looking rifle ever made. Absolutely perfect and I want one so badly.

The hole in the Front Sight Hood of the Galil is actually to adjust the Foresight elevation using the sight adjustment tool, not for letting in light.
Also to attach rifle grenade sight
That Sig 542 is so fuckin awesome
For AR-18 with 40-rd magazine - particular respect!
The sig sg540 family is long-stroke, not short-stroke has piston. It is basically a fancy Swiss AK.
M16 A1 was my favorite, but I didn’t see any bad choices
