TWP10 Twin Peaks wah-wah pedal | Jack Gardiner

- Twin Peaks is a new wah-wah pedal from Ibanez unlike any other before it. Most conventional wah-wah pedals utilize a single peak point to achieve the effect, but Twin Peaks doubles down on this sound by utilizing dual peak points at a higher and lower frequency. This is achieved through the use of dual inductor circuitry. Additionally, the mix of the two frequency peaks can be controlled via a balance knob, inspiring enriched levels of sonic experimentation with this exciting and entirely new pedal from Ibanez.

Gotta love the colour coordination, red & black shoes with one red cable and one black cable
Damn good coffee
Nice shoe colour coordination!
They should offer the shoes with the pedal as a package deal.
@@PaulD70Ha ha!
nice
P.S. the weeping demon was a beast
Dear God, make that 24 fret HSS AZ a production model already, preferably in bright aqua and bright pink
There's the Mario Camarena AZ that's close :)
but yeah it's gonna be super cool! especially a Jack Gardiner signature
It's an amazing-looking guitar! Do w know if the neck pickup position had to change to accomplish 24-HSS? Would it matter to the tone?
@@ericsplittgerber5154 yup, totally changes the tone
The AZ necks are so annoyingly fat though. Everything else about them is great.
@@5urg3x compared to what? My AZ Premium's neck is perfect for my hands :)
Its such a simple idea to have 2 peaks, Im so surprised it hasnt been done already. Pedal sounds great though!
Creative capabilities off the Charts, Awesome Review You Broke The Use Down Perfect
Might add this to my little collection of Wah Pedals , I have a few Ibanez Wahs my favourite is the Weeping Demon , it should of been named the Screaming Demon as it Screams when the Amps are running loud and the valves are cooking , Awesome Pedals . I thought my Blue Floral Ibanez Jem was a Pretty head Turner guitar this one Jack has is Beautiful too .
Weeping Demon is the best I really wish they would bring it back! I already broke one and now have a slightly newer one
TRULY VERSATILE
I wish you could move the frequency peaks seperately. This could work perfectly on Bass!
Sounds like it’s being used on the wah on the demo here.
I just wish it had the automatic switch + spring mechanism of something like the 95Q or the Morley wahs and it'll be perfect!
How it doesn't have the black and white floor pattern on the top is beyond me...
That would be amazing
Good looking guitar
Frushiante fans let’s gooooo!
This would sound killer on a Rhodes piano
When does it release? Price? Ya know just the important consumer information for someone wanting to buy one lol.
No you gotta get interested so you keep googling the release date so the product keeps getting hits so it moves up through the algos
Seems great! Also like the level knob. The v3 wah has such a volume spike when turned on, hope the level knob will solve that problem. Do hope it will be more reliable….the switch in the v3 breaks so often…
This gives me Frusciante vibes. I’m sold.
Why? Cause you saw on some site, he might use an Ibanez wah?
@@sn1ffy85i mean he definitely does. But its a WH10. I wouldnt say its jf like though.
Ibanez, it would have been nice to have added variable center frequencies for both dual peak points. I want to be able to move the peak points to other positions on the frequency scale spectrum.
EXACTLY
Sweet pedal
Sweet riffing
Peace ✌️
Is David Lynch going to endorse this product?
Hi. Is this the only effect we hear or there is more. Like a reverb or whatever.
Excellent gear.
I would buy this if they mass produce for less than 180€!
Good video that quickly answers the first questions that one would ask about the product. My impression is that the twin peaks give the listener the distinct impression of TWO wha wha guitars playing together. We hear this in recordings quite a bit, but it takes two guitars in two tracks or else two players on one track, but this would be a first with one player on one track so a definate plus, the sounds are immediatly familar from recordings of double guitars but the means is not a familar means.
It might have been cool to be able to set the interval between the peaks, say an octave or a fifth or a third or an octave and a fifth or an octave and a third, that kind of thing.
Ok, Ibanez, now bring the Weeping Demon back. Thanks.
@2:04 higher frequency focused
@3:05 lower frequency focused
@2:34 blended sound
My only goal as a musician is to be sponsored by maxon.. lol cheap sk8 best rock band in the Pacific Northwest.
The twin peaks, in my opinion, isn't the most versatile pedal out there (although it does look cool though I'll give them credit). The Dunlop Crybaby from Hell Wah Pedal is better cause if your foot is wet and you're playing on the twin peaks pedal, it'll slip right off it vs. the Crybaby from Hell features skateboard grip tape, so it won't slip off when it gets wet.
Like I said before, it looks and sounds great, but I would have to pick the Crybaby from Hell over that pedal in terms of the versatility.
Yeah because thousands of players are out there playing with a wet foot night after night. Got it.
