I was finishing with knots that were strong but very sloppy. I got this tool a week ago and I will never tie off again! Definitely worth the investment.
Thank you for your tutorial. I bought nylon thread to string jade stones because I read that it makes it hang nicely. Hopefully it's not too thin to grip strongly. At the end of your video you mentioned cutting off the excess wire, but if the bead holes are big enough, I like to string it right over the excess so that there's no sharp ends and it's available if I ever need to restring.
My pair of 1 step crimper doesn't make good crimps at all. Not sure if I got a faulty pair or what.

What do you consider a medium to heavyweight cord? I have these and they arent crimping tight enough. The crimps always slide off.

I only use the 1.5mm crimp tubes. Will it work with tubes this small?

Hi Miss K! Certainly, the Bead Buddy 1-Step Crimper works on beads and crimp beads up to 2mmx2mm, which is the approximate size a 12g.
they're just too big and bulky
It is not good at all. Tried four types of crimps many times, including the ones attached : the device twists the wire, no folding, most of them are not tide enough to hold. In short: rubbish
I really disappointed in this tool. Better for me to use my regular crimping tool. If using a wire guard don't get it caught. It's an ok tool but not the greatest.
