There is no reason why Mary Magdalene could not have been Christs wife and also to have had a rough childhood such that she her was dominated by evil spirits and been a prostitute until Christ found and rescued/redeemed her. If she had truly experienced this it only reinforces Christs mission to redeem and extend mercy. He did after all, go out of His way to show his disciples (and us) that His work was to redeem and elevate all.

I know this rubs people wrong. I was not brought up in an LDS home ,my whole family converted in Anchorage, Alaska in 1975.
Out of 6 kids I was the only one that stayed active and later went on a mission to New York City in 1980. I'm not meaning to sound self-righteous, but when my wife and I got married in the Washington DC temple in 1983, We had both spoke about our different roles. I understood that I was to provide for the family and that she was to nurture. We had the family proclamation in our mind because of what the prophets were teaching at that time was not popular we had since had 10 children, and all of them had been brought up and nurtured by my wife,She Homeschooled while I provided. I have never been rich, but the Lord has blessed us with opportunities to provide with just the one income, and we are grateful, that is what our Heavenly Father would like us to do

Hello you two. I sat in back of you Sue during our tour of ‘The Traditions of Christ in Great Britain!,’ & loved every blessed minute. Since I was a last minute joiner of the tour, I didn’t get a chance to do my reading and study of the things that were talked about. My life has been busy these past 16 months with my beloved husband’s passing, & now my selling & moving. I would so appreciate the list of books to read about the subject on this podcast. One of our ward members visited France recently and commented how long the line was into the Versailles museum. The Paris temple is not far away. He pondered on how that long line should be to go to the temple. If only people knew the true value of our covenants. Thank you for this video. It was so crazy interesting and now I have a bunch of books to find and more to ponder. You two are so amazing. Never stop sharing !

Thank you. This confirms what I was taught by a wonderful Professor at a Methodist Girls College in the 50s. So many were shocked and called this great teacher an atheist. I never understood why. Today I know some people are blind to truth and are described that way in the scriptures . I had to rear my 4 children by myself while I worked, and earned 2 degrees . I grew more than I could have imagined. I believe great marriages and families are not made in Heaven but on earth through hard work. It only makes sense that what Christ expects of us, He’s exampled Himself.
I’ve had so much responsibility of having 5 children and then the opportunity of nurturing, and providing for and protecting 4 living children by myself, I have no desire to ever do it again. But, I have a wonderful family that loves and serves the Lord. I couldn’t ask for more. I’m very grateful and blessed to have had that opportunity.

Remember, the charge our prophets have is to preach and teach repentance. It is up to us to search out wisdom and knowledge on other topics directly with God-He is to be our teacher on these other topics. It is only us that limits our understanding to only what the prophets teach. We are commanded in the Book of Mormon to “search the scriptures”. D&C 109 tells us to seek knowledge out of the best books and let the Lord teach us. Attend the temple and let the Lord teach us there too. We must be intentional about our search for knowledge and truth.

I listen to/watch many, many death experiences aka Near Death Experiences, I am amazed at how true-to-the-Gospel these experiences are. So many make perfect sense, especially how these people are embraced and filled with love by the person they believe is the Savior and how their life review is done by watching their life before them not with harsh judgement but with love and if they have done good things they feel so happy, and if they had done bad things they feel the feelings of those they wronged. In essence they are judging themselves with the Saviour's light and love with them.

I have always felt this way about Christ. It just made sense to me. Thank you both for your inspiring words. I too had a son who knew I loved him very much and always would but my testimony in the doctrines of the gospel is firm. He chose to practice homosexuality but still had faith in the gospel. He just didn’t know where he fit in. I told him he is loved by myself but even more by his Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Unfortunately due to other problems and some self medicating he ended up dying by suicide. I was 3 days later assured in a way I can’t speak of that he was at peace and loved me.

So grateful for the blessing of discernment! I've got 1 more of my "fav sins" to be done with & I can get rebaptized & have my endowments given back to me. I was telling some sisters the other day, where would I even go? I don't want to go to another church. I've seen too many miracles & answered prayers to go anywhere else. YES!!! Mary fled to France.
The Catholic Church is located in Italy.
It probably was convenient as a cost cutting measure, BUT...
This would have been horribly destructive to the Italian Catholics, moving the center of power from Roman Italy, thus threatening THEIR CLAIM TO AUTHORITY.
iT'S ALWAYS POLITICS and their lust for power.

Truly awesome guys. Loved all your insights, even the NDE’s discussion. Been watching a lot of those lately. Fascinated by the comment on the glowing hearts. These of course were spirits, but I believe a spirit body mirrors our physical bodies with all the organs just se as we have now. Though we obviously know the heart pumps blood around the body, but with all the references the scriptures make with regard to the heart I have often wondered if that is the connection between the the physical body and the spirit self. Just letting my mind unwind here.
Also when you mentioned the finding of the female skull in the cave, and I know you said that you weren’t saying it was Mary Magdalen, but I would doubt it because if she was a wife to Jesus and believe she was surely she would have been resurrected a long time ago. As always thank you for bringing a smile to my day.

I seriously doubt that was really Mary Magdalene’s skull, too. For multiple reasons, one being that there is a strong tradition which I thought was in France, that Mary Magdalene didn’t die but ascended into Heaven accompanied by angels. Seems like she was translated and most likely resurrected by now.

The Lord revealed many things to me 35-40 years ago including the marital status and posterity of Christ. Christ could only be called a rabbi if He was married. The whole world has destroyed the importance of family and the great calling of women. They have demonized Eve. And the church has refused to open their eyes to see or ever speak of our comforter, sign of the dove -Heavenly Mother as the 3rd part of the Godhead/Holy Spirit. They say they don’t speak of heavenly mother out of reverence without realizing that they speak of her every time they talk about the Holy Spirit.

I agree with Pauline… The Holy Spirit is the third member of the Godhood…without a body at this time… but in reading Michael B Rush’s interreptation of The Book of Enoch… Ishtar is claiming that she is the third member of the Godhead… and exactly what is being said here… we have today a counterfeit Trinity…..Baal, Molech and Ishtar casting a dark shadow on HF’s children as many are being deceived…… food for thought!

The family proclamation is true, Brothers and Sisters in scriptures it states that we are to: "Honor our mothers and fathers" it is my personal opinion that in the world we are human and with our human nature we are in a fallen state and therefore are fallible. I believe scripture also states :
"For us to lean not on our own understanding"
With Father's Day coming up it brings to my mind a little plaque that my dad got for me when I was rather young, it was a little plaque with my nickname "Jackie" and it displayed where the root of my name came from in Hebrew, upon this plaque stated a scripture which reads:
    John 8:32 KJV:
"Ye shalt know the truth and the truth shall set you free."

I will say in my own family there has been great divide due to opposing religious beliefs which has cost us as a family from being able to know my Uncle,Aunt and several cousins. Now with that being said, there is value in learning about each other as family members in the same family and both religions believe in Jesus Christ. Is there more than one Jesus? Because if both believe in Jesus Christ and are striving to live as he did then why the division? Is Jesus better than Jesus? We can all ask ourselves are our beliefs in Jesus Christ better then others churches beliefs in Jesus Christ? And if we are honest within our own families as Christ believer's how does one suppose we ought to be to each member born to that family? In a fallen world that we are all in would it be right for us to withhold love to any of our children regardless of who they love? I believe most parents want the very best for their children and often may not agree with some of their choices and or some of the traits they may be born with, but I'm pretty sure Christ would want us to love them all equally and let their final destination be determined by God himself but in the meantime as true followers of Christ ask yourself what would Christ do?

Dear brother and sister Palmer: Forgive me if I misunderstood, were you suggesting that the Holy Ghost is our Mother in Heaven, ie. the third member of the Godhead, or just that that one stain glass window depicting The Father, The Son, and the dove was a representation of The Mother in the dove?

    • @watcherpalmerlds
      @watcherpalmerlds  2 місяці тому +1

Yes on your last comment. The dove was not replacing the Holy Ghost but in this stain glass the dove was representing God Father God Mother (dove) and the boy Jesus. So cool.

Later on in the podcast Burke shares how people have described Jesus or God as the purest form of compassion and kindness. Neither male or female…..that last line is problematic for me. I’m going to have to do some truth seeking to understand what they mean by that. Would love any insight you might have.

I felt the same way as you when I heard that. I thought of the first vision of Joseph when he said he saw two personages standing above him in the air. Joseph did not state anything other than personages. That is interesting. Much to think about, but a glorified being must just be overwhelming to see. Great question!

Ok, I'm logging on too much today but I must tell your audience the interview with Sean and John is excellent but the beginning is meh. Keep watching, it gets better. Fantastic experience of life after death then coming back. Ok, I'm done. Oh wait! There's more. I'm not sure if they mention this in the podcast but I know that in many major hospitals now they have a box which has a number which changes each day. It is to document, for certain, when someone dies in the Operating Room and rises to the ceiling they will see this number and be able, hopefully to report it to the Doctors. If the numbers match they have proof. No one can change or see the number, only someone who has the view from the ceiling. It' computerized and automatic/ random. I can't wait for the experiences of those who die in the OR and report the numbers they see. The doubters will still doubt probably but those of us who know will smile really, really big!

Most of those ancient churches in Europe didn’t survive unless they had a holy artifact of some kind to attract the pilgrims with. So they fabricated ‘holy artifacts.’
I’m glad to see that you use divining rods. My father was an expert at them as he used them to find water for everyone in his region. On my channel, I teach people how to discern truth instantly using our internal dividing run, which is the energy of our body. These Work using energy frequencies which can’t be deceived.

This makes sense to me, you see if you pray the "Hail Mary" prayer it reads:
"Hail Mary full of grace the Lord is with thee, blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus, Holy Mary Mother of God pray for us sinners now and in the hour of our death, Amen.❤❤❤

You and Sue did a great job here! One question???
    Why do scripture say that
JESUS say, "if you can't live as I live (celabot)", then better you marry than to burn?? He obviously never married!

When I do a Google search for "Was the apostle Paul married? - the answers are almost always: "Most Christian scholars think Paul was a widower"... previously married, but since his wife has died, then he was practicing celibacy...

Love to catch your video. Your take in the beginning about the members following the path of those in the B of M is. my view. I’d love to read Kimball’s research. My thought is Christ was asked by God to fulfill all laws as an example. Just as He needed to be baptized in the flesh He to would have fulfilled the requirements of the first and everlasting covenant of marriage just as Adam Jesus would have followed that pattern. Mary also witnessed Him before He had sssended to the Father. I think she was from Magdalia. Then after His assertion eventually traveled and settled in Celtic islands. I think He could have had offspring to in that His offspring only received chromosomes from His mother’s mortal side thus His offspring would be no different than us totally mortal nothing passed on from God the Father.

My personal thought is that the true scarafice of the Atonement was that Christ would not be able to be exalted with a wife. Instead, God the Father gave his own creations to Christ. Hence, Christ became the Father as it references in the scriptures, but this is just me
