Dear Blue sky, such people like her ex do not know how to recognize a diamond from the rest. For him, promiscuous women who expose themselves and talk dirty are what matter to them, and changeable, they get very tired of seeing 1 person all the time, meaning that such people cannot live a married life and they feed off of making the wife miserable.

I worked in the UK with non resident Indians in the IT sector. I can say that 50% - 60% of the men were regular visitors to massage parlours and strip clubs. I know this because they would openly talk about it to me and say that it was normal for a man to do. Sometimes they asked if I would like to join them. Some of the same men would say that they wanted to marry 'good' girls. I remember once I walked with them in the evening and we walked passed the flat of one of the Indian ladies in the office. They made judgemental comments about why her lights were on so late at night ??? All these guys were educated and came from middle class families. Most of the women in these parlours were Eastern European. I asked them if they considered that some of these women might be trafficking victims. They didn't care. One of them had a beautiful wife and two sons. I would like to say to those people that think it's 'normal' for guys to do these things that's it's not. I never did them and I am sure that many others don't. If you are going to massage parlours or strip clubs then you have a mental defect. Stop telling other people it's normal and marry the prostitutes you like to visit. Don't destroy the lives of these women who should be marrying decent men instead. I am also aware that some of these guys parents are desperately run around looking for 'good' girls for them and will even go to PK/IN to find a 'traditional' wife.
thank you for saying this. There are so many women who go through this and end up marrying a man who wants a saint for himself while he can also enjoy himself at massage parlours. There are such double standards. I am glad that there are good decent people like you out there.
I am born in England and live in Scotland, and quite assimilated in UK (working in nuclear industry).
Visited Pakistan on few occasions and also know a few men from Pakistan settled in UK (mostly my fathers friends and a few husbands of cousin etc).
Their attitude towards women is, well, simply shocking.
Once in Pakistan one of the men said that if a woman is in a burkah she is definitely up to no good. But what disturbed me the most is the staring, the constant blatant staring, like a wolves, at any woman that happened to pass by. In UK this would be utterly unacceptable behaviour and censure is swift from the woman and those around.
In my opinion the main reason for this is Islam that forbids sexual curiosity between men and women. It is contrary to nature.
@@tariq_sharif I think that this problem can be attributed to cultural upbringing because men from Sikh and Hindu culture don't treat women any better either. It is more of a cultural issue I believe. Men who come from India hold similar beliefs about women and show very little respect. I see this as a South Asian issue and how men are raised by their parents.
@@nassrakhan863 agree, men are forgiven for a lot probably because they think he will look after the parents. From the examples I gave in my first comment I got the impression that they got into it at university and were encouraged by their peers. Hence the importance of keeping good company. I remember that in the past if anyone tried to get me to do something against my better self I would avoid that person in future as best I could or at least not develop a friendship with them. I would also let my parents know what happened or was said. What I don't understand is why some families give their daughters to these guys. You can see their deeds on their faces sometimes. When i lived in PK I was unmarried, it was assumed that I must be doing funny stuff by a few relatives who would insinuate things about me in front of my dad. One relative who was also unmarried who was a PK national took me to Lahore on an 'outing' with a friend of his. When we got there, they started talking bakwas and mentioning 'heera mundi' I realised that my relative is doing these things. When I returned home I told my dad, but even he was defend the relative. Now that relative found a rishta in the UK and is living in Bradford. I wouldn't be surprised if I learnt he is using prostitues in the UK because he came across as creepy.
@sugges0 you have a valid point, for me its from my life experience with people, what they say, how they talk, what friends they have, what hobbies they have, if they have a big ego or appear vain. I think a better way would be to hire a marriage investigator to set a honey trap. I think though that people should also care about ensuring their sons don't become like this without restricting them like the girls or forcing them. You're right though people lie which is probably why people prefer marrying within the local community because in villages the gossips ensure everyone knows everybody's businesses.
I feel like it's my story. Being gas lighted and getting feeling of an unwanted woman is a worst thing to have.
This was the most touching story of the entire season!!! We really need to stop normalizing this "men will be men" thing. Lots of duas for her that she reunites with her son and spends rest of her life peacefully and happily.

Kanwal is strength and not just strength she's someone I fully believe is making an actual change and working for the good of our people. You should definitely get married. Every human being needs a companion but take your time making a decision about who you would marry. Get to know him and his family. Don't rush into saying yes. Trust your gut feeling and if you see a slight red flag, don't hesitate to say no.

This is heart breaking. I hope she finds a way to get connected with her son. The whole episode I was hoping that in the end the child will appear like in the other episodes, the women got a happy ending. Please get your son out of that toxic environment. I know you must have tried.
There might be someone in her ex’s family who has a heart and conscience and connects the son via phone with the mom.

I kept crying the whole episode, how and when people will see it is not right to break someone's trust, to ruin her life and completely shatter her personality! Why little kids have to see their cruel father beating their mothers , why their little souls and minds have to go through this just because of one dirty person!
One of the saddest episodes I’ve seen. I was waiting for her to say when she was reunited with her son and my heart broke when she said her ex had kept him. What an evil evil man. I hope she gets to meet and keep him soon.
One thing I notice about some guys who are 'bigrai' is that when marriage time approaches they become very religious and sometimes this continues after marriage. It's like they swing from complete extremes of lifestyle, before and after marriage.
This broke my heart. I pray that she gets her son back and I wish we as a soul sister community could help her in some way! As a mom I felt her pain so deeply. How in the world is it possible that the Pakistani law system allows animals like her ex husband to have custody of a child?! What can we do to change that?! I am so heartbroken because I know that exactly this fear of loosing ones child is the reason for so so many women to stay in abusive marriages. It’s just so frustrating!

The most heart wrenching episode! Cheating comes in so many forms, not just physical fornication, although it's the worst. I personally believe when you're cheated on, it changes you to a great extent. The cheating partner might change over time and give up his/her wayward ways but the scars that inflicts on one's psyche never truly heal.
Fatima needs support from the other lawyer sisters.A powerful case should be built to get back her son.This true story should have a happy ending.

Firstly thank you Kanwal for bringing this to the fore front.There are many of us who have been through something similar but don't have the guts to talk about it openly like Fatimah has.Fatimah time is a great healer inshallah with lots of duas you will meet your son .My daughter met her dad after 1 year. The amount of begging I did to mutual friends and family is shocking. My brother and sister helped me to find him in the end it was a small lead which was enough to find his whereabouts.I will never forget the times the difficult times.

So if someone is being constantly toxic for your heart and soul, someone is betraying you - then yes it’s definitely better to walk out of such relationship. Hi i am from nepal and i love this show. You should never endure abuse for the sake of your children because it's meaningless, u can never raise your child in a abusive relationship. Bahad Mai jai ye duniya dari. Cheating is a choice not mistake. Girls never ever endure an abusive relationship. It's a mistake my mom did.
