It's funny this game was getting modded like 3 days before launch, and seeing how much content there already is for frontiers, I'd say that the modding community is going to get pretty big.

I can see where your coming from, gens has had 11 years worth of modding, Depends how quickly modders stop modding frontiers.
@@hoohoo431 I feel like the newer sonic games are either to limiting to mod or will take a while to really delve into them and add crazy stuff. gens already did that with customization on the fly, sonic from 06, mario from 64, complete animation and physics changes, as well as just random tweaks. however, people actually like frontiers so it will probably still get mods

frontiers is becoming the new generations and that's dope.
Adventure Sonic + Physics Mod + 60FPS cutscenes = My ideal Sonic Frontiers experience.
There is also the buffed Titans mod while it doesn´t tweak any major parts of the fights it buffs the speed and aggression of the Titans as well as their health bar.
To be frank this is the mod to make all Titan fights more enjoyable and to be able to hear Supreme's battle music to the fullest as he is basically the Sundowner of Frontiers: cool concept but he loses HP too fast

The final boss`s healthbar gets decreased to smooth out the experience.

Frontiers already has this big a modding scene, I'd think if unleashed got a steam port it'd likely be the most modded game,seeing as werehog stages would likely be easier to make. Aswell as using the eggmanland mechanic of switching between the hogs mid stage potentially being used for really cool puzzle stages.

do you actually have to put HedgeModManager in the Steam directory for Frontiers? it works fine not being there for Gens or Forces
No. As long as you have your game path in the right place, you can put the mod manager anywhere.
Didn't know that. I mean i'd rather have it there anyway as opposed to sitting in some random other location

Just as an update, since DLC wave 1, Beatz's Improved physics mod currently causes the game to crash on startup. hopefully they'll be able to fix it soon though.
Most of my mod were made game harder such as Impossible mode, rebalance Cyberspace, and some nerf sonic. Making my second run more enjoyable.
I'm not finding the mods that you checkmarked at 2:20 on Game Banana. Can you link some of those mods in the description or comments section? (I especially want the Disable Umbrella Camera Lock-on mod.)
Disable Umbrella is a code built into the mod loader, not a mod you download. Check the codes section and you might find the things you're looking for.
How do I add a game to the manager in the first place?

If you're still answering questions, how would i go about installing the Boss Select mod?
I can tell just from downloading it that the file is unlike some of the others I've managed to successfully install and I can't to figure out where it's supposed to go if the Mod Manager doesn't recognize the file.
I don't believe that mod is any different than the others. Download, Unzip using WinRAR and put the folder in the mods folder. Should just work.

Uh a new sonic simulator game was released on roblox a few months ago it's very fun and there are some custom skins like camper knuckles a Fisher man big the cat and ninja amy but the down side is that tails does not fly in the air and knuckles never glides and neither rouge and I forgot that riders rouge is also a custom skin and amy never uses the pike piko hammer
When ever I see sonic and .exe in the same file I always think of the creepy pasta called sonic.exe
Also another reason to mod the PC version is because I've seen some stuff about it and it sounds like there's gonna be a pop in mod semi soon

As a Sonic fan who got the Creepypasta version of the Internet Starter pack alongside their first Sonic games in the 2010’s, any time I hear ‘Sonic’ and ‘.exe’ in the same sentence, I am legally obligated to feel marginally threatened. I also know it’s gonna get REALLY deep in any number of different ways.
Disable Framerate Limiter doesn't work for me I have no clue why...

Side note: if you’re planning to activate infinite boost in the mod loader i’d recommend you turn off The boost gauge so it doesn’t take up your screen

I installed 1 skin and used your improvements in the codes section, i start the game and everything works fine but why now the game crashes after a few minutes i'm playing?? can you help me fix that?
Right click the game in Steam, properties, local files, Verify Integrity of Installed Files. See if that changes anything.

@@Garrulous64 done it but it still crashes randomly after a few minutes but I think Ik why, when I do a little minigame to unlock a piece of the map(i'm in the desert island) "I think" the game autosaves and then crashes, I also found out that when I save manually the game instant crashes so...what do you think about this? Is it cuz of the mods? I mean after I installed the mod loader and everything a problem created somehow? Cuz it happens even when I'm not using them(mods)....Just in case how do I unistall the mod loader and all the files just to see if it works?

Here is what I did to fix the same exact issue I got the version from github then I of course put it into the steam directory then I switched it to development mode and it started showing it so yeah there ya go hope that helps unless you already got it working

Dang this game is already getting mod fixes like Better SADX and SA2. The thing that sucks the most is that these changes aren't official for console users.

It is a code built into the mod loader.
Does Denuvo not prevent modding?
No, i believe it is mostly for stopping pirating the game. But i've heard it causes issues for general performance of the game.

It might be because I'm old and slow but I found certain sections of the game to be hard to complete with the Physics Mod because Sonic is too fast and gains too much momentum. I had to turn it off for the Island 3 Titan First Encounter (chase scene with the giant saw)
You have to turn it off in that section i think, it's a bug
either slow down your top speed or turn it off
@@F1re_storm yeah, had to turn it off. The added and consistent momentum had me going too fast for the scripted set pieces pf that chase scene

you actually dont have to put it in the same folder as sonic frontiers also make sure to enable use game launcher as this will fix some glitches you may have
Had to mod PlayStation buttons in because of course as usual for new games it DOESN’T SUPPORT DUALSHOCK

I think the meat which sonic was cooking in 10:42-52, could been from a human graveyard. He might had took body pieces from a dead human corpse in a graveyard, than cook it for himself. That is what my theory is, because the meat he is cooking looks like human flesh.
At least put Windows in darkmode.. my eyes.
I am usually a dark mode enjoyer, but windows default shall not be changed, it would be too weird.
