The Fast Lane Car You've got exciting news !!!! Emme's pregnant, isn't she ??? Just think, you could do mash-ups on baby carriages, and see which ones lost power at a mile above sea level. I'm so excited I can hardly wait !!!!!
Will be interesting to see whether Lincoln / Ford updates the transmission offering to an 8-speed next year, to remain competitive with the Escalade in that regard. I would pick this over the Escalade for two reasons -- #1, CUE (enough said, I've tried it and it's far more wretched than even gen. I of MFT/MLT), and #2, the rear compartment is far more usable than GM's new raised platform-to-hide-the-rear-seats.
I would love to see that V6 tow 9000lbs.....you guys should test towing on these light duty trucks, if it says it could tow 9000lbs then hook up 9000lbs to a trailer and tow with it and/or better yet.....try out that big hill you guys usually do with the heavy duty truck....I think you call it the gauntlet or something like that....let's see that V6 pull 9K up that? Now that I think about it, Ford keeps touting customers with it's ecoboost V6 then grab any Ford truck with a Ecoboost and hook up it's tow capacity an give it a review....let the truth be told or at least verified???
They do test the Ecoboost and it kicks the V8's on the gauntlet test. Thats also due to the elevation change which is an advantage of forced induction. I have a Ecoboost Flex and have towed well into the 7k range (2k over capacity) and the engine has plenty of power!! Pulls like a freight train!
gspunk29 probably stops like one too.... people always think that towing is about power, that's a part of it but you have to be able to stop properly. Towing 7k with a flex is just downright dangerous and irresponsible, sorry to say.
hound haha that was funny. Yea i have trailer brake controller and that helps alot. I wouldnt tow that on mountain roads but it works around town and on the highway. It holds up very well.
Great review thanks Just curious - which is a better luxury car between the Denali, Lincoln Navigator, Infinity QX80 and the Escalade? And if I could ask one more question: Of the 4 which has more HP and offers a better drive? If anyone else cares to comment on this question please do so. Thanks everyone!!
Towing is 9,000lbs???? Everywhere ive looked it showed only 6,000 lbs. Thats really nice to know, my 08 expeditions towing capacity is right around 9,000 lbs and i was looking for a 2015-2017 navigator.
I actually like the Navigator over the Escalade. The new generation Escalade and Yukon Denali have gotten uglier and I've read that the engine in the Denali was slow and sluggish even with the V8. While the Navigator isn't as refined as far as interiors go than the Escalade the Navigator has better overall presence and Substance. I'll take one of these in bronze or gray in the Reserve package.
Forgot the Lexus LX 570 my personal fav but I must admit it looks good and it isn't cut from the same cloth as the escalde, yukon, tahoe and suburban cloth.
It doesn't seem very luxury to me. The back end looks like the designers just got tired. And the middle infotainment center looks like a big chunk of plastic. Not something you'd see in a luxury vehicle.
Ford chief engineer has said " this is a luxury SUV, so we're competing with the Cadillac Escalade primarily, and the QX80, and not the GMC Yukon Denali, which has bragging rights for being a full-sized luxury SUV.
How could Ford have updated their entire line-up and neglected to redesign both the Expedition and Navigator chassis and the Taurus and MKS chassis by now? Still no concrete plans from them that I've seen from them about the next steps and when these machines will be redesigned or replaced and they're painfully outdated! I've seen fantasy prototypes for a Ford Torino that looked kind of cool but probably just a prototype and not much else. What gives Ford? These are important markets! Particularly the Taurus/MKS market. Especially for Lincoln which is on a respirator!
***** Why would anyone hope that consumers who've worked hard for their money would lose their cars at 100,000 miles just because you have a dislike towards Ford?
***** I see. I know someone with an F-150 with a V-6 that has almost 300,000 miles on it so it shouldn't be a problem if it's maintained well although I also would prefer an eight cylinder option with pushrods. I just think it's a better setup for trucks. Even a pushrod six. Glad that Ford is your favorite company. I still like straight six engines better for heat dissipation compared to a V-6
#FORD & #GM have hit the button with these SUV's leaving #Dodge in the dust, only the #Nissan Rogue comes closer. Glad to see #Cadillac back in the swing of things to come.
Who heck is going to afford this truck!!! Holy cow that is expensive. Especially for a dang Ford. Man I'm sorry but the suv market should be around 30000-45000 but anything over this is ridiculous. By the time most are done paying for this the truck won't be worth anything.
They really need to look back at the models that really fueled the elegance of The Lincoln Motor Company: 1961 Continental, The Mark VIII, The K series,The 2nd gen Towncar, the first Navigator. The back seats scream cheap Ford. Cadillac has successfully upped the ante differentiating it from Buick and Chevrolet. Lincoln needs to find some sort of design language.
Truly a nice looking SUV but the center info-center takes away from the dash beauty. It might be a deal breaker for me. Why have car designers/engineers overlooked the design and functionality of - what is in this day and age - one of the most important part of a vehicle. Can't anyone develop an infotainment system that looks good AND functions properly? I once walked out of an Audi dealership because the infotainment system failed to work properly during a demonstration where the saleswoman attempted to connect our smartphone.......in 2 separate cars. Wasn't going to drop $89K that day!
J.A.Grami Actually decided to purchase the Outback and a used RV. Really wanted that Audi though. Maybe when I retire I'll treat myself to a Tesla. Drove one a few weeks ago and was absolutely blown away.
I love the way Ford brag about having independent rear suspension like it's the cutting edge of engineering advancement. Wow, they're a bunch of hard faced bastards and no mistake.
it's not like anyone at lincoln has a tough job. They are handed a design from ford and all they do is make the taillights go all the way across he back and call it a lincoln.
Im a 2014 Lincoln Mkz owner and I have to say "STEP IT UP on the interior Lincoln" The interior is is a joke compared to its rivals. Cadillac has such sumptuous materials and they don't use hard plastic anywhere. You can see hard plastics in the video on the dash. Just bad. Thats the last piece of the puzzle for Lincoln. Technology is great, exterior design is good and getting better. Interior is a D+ in terms of luxury cars.
1:25 You're the chief engineer? Wait. But...you're just a woman! I'm really impressed. I mean, if you can really talk cars with me. I'm mainly saying I'm impressed because I'm on camera, lady.
I like your site very much and look forward to your reviews. I must say that the Chief Engineer of the Navigator would make a very solid salesperson and I found it interesting. However, I come to your site looking for a complete review which should include your driving impressions. So a big fail for this Navigator review in my opinion. Once again you guys generally do good work.
Roman, Is this more upscale than Ford from the interior? It looks very plastisticy and bland from the inside. Asking as we are looking to buy a used full size SUV
Im torn on the looks and the interior design. I honestly feel the previous style was a little better looking. I also feel for 80k I would rather have a new 2015 6.2 cadillac. I can't afford either so maybe my opinion is null and void anyway haha.
Why can't Lincoln figure their s*** out and do something stylish with the exhaust. Every single Navigator has had an awful looking muffler/tip design, though admittedly it looks better on this generation than the previous. /rant
they really give a great value for the car think about the lexus, range rover they are asking too much for what they offer and they are not as good as this
i love lincoln, and if you compare car companies from the 90s and before, lincoln is my favorite, but they have been on a steady decline.i think the navigator looks great, but that interior is rather boring, and the same goes for cadillac. they're interiors are underwhelming, and their cars are getting cheaper and cheaper. what happened to edsel ford's deam of building the best cars? i fee, liky the only way for lincoln to make a come back as a serious luxury brand with the ability to compete with bently, merc, lexus, RR, ect, it to make an image builder, similar to the continental mkII. they need a large convertible sedan (or coupe) with suicide doors, a v10 or v12, and high price tag.
Esta bellisima , cuando veo una en la calle 😮me vuelvo a enamorar, desde que tenia como 14 o 15 un amigo de mi papa tenia una en ese entonces, y wow cuando llego a la casa fue de Que belleza
The interior looks kinda bland and not very impressive for a luxury segment car. I expected quite a bit more but when she open the passenger door, my jaw just dropped.
I would not pay that much money for something that looked like that. Especially on the inside. Not competing with the Denali because it's a "Luxury" vehicle? Denali is way nicer...
If the year was 2001 I would be impressed with this SUV. Unfortunately, it is 2015 and Lincoln is falling farther and farther behind every single other automaker. Who is running this company anyways? My mother in-laws 2004 Expedition offers the same bloody options as this overpriced plastic piece of shit. I really want to like Lincoln but I mean come on. This thing is $95,000+tax up here in Canada and this thing can't park itself, has no 360 degree camera, no lane keep assist, no HUD, no collision warning and has a worse fit-and-finish than a 1990 Rav 4. Please Lincoln/Ford stop trying to push this EcoBoost bullshit down our (The Consumers) throats, there is nothing ECO about it. So what? It can tow 1000lbs more than a GM or other equivalent vehicle. I would be much happier towing less and getting my ass massaged by the seats while adaptive cruse control regulates my speed for me and collision warning keeps me safe. I feel insulted that Lincoln would even try to sell a vehicle that is so inferior the competition and still charge so much for it. This pile of junk isn't even worth 40k brand new let alone 95k (Canadian), it's just a 15 year old f-150 with a box on the back and some shitty dim moustache-looking led strips bought from home depot to make it look more "Luxurious" Good Job Lincoln! (sarcasm) -end rant. Great Video/Coverage TFL!
It is very refreshing to have a manufacturer spokesperson that really knows the product and is not shy!
I bought my navigator because of this series video, and I’m super happy with it!
It's basically the same SUV since 2007 but for this year, it received some good revisions with major one coming from it's new Ecoboost engine.
Thanks for uploading your videos early in the morning; they have become part of my routine :)
You are most certainly welcome. Thank you for watching and please stay tuned we have some exciting news coming this week.

I LOVE THE 2015 LINCOLN NAVIGATOR

How'd the Eco Boost due over time? Who's driving a 15/16 Navigator/Expedition now please? Thinking about picking up a 15-17 Nav. Thanks!
I got a 2015 Lincoln Navigator L.
My grandmother still drives her 2015. I’m thinking about picking it up from her for myself!
Look at you guys getting all fancy with the multiple camera angles.
Roman thinks, ' I'll sweep Elaine off her feet with my suave charm '.
Elaine thinks, ' Where's Nathan ??? I want Nathan !!! '.
I'm like this Lincoln Navigator ..I'm need more information. Please
Is there a way to view the tire pressure from the instrument panel on a 2015 Lincoln Navigator?
Why is everyone talking about this car being ugly? This car looks fantastic compared to any of the new Chevy/GM products.... Now those are ugly!
Wow, this is way better looking than the Escalade... said no one ever. Damn, it looks like Clifford the Big Red Dog.
It looks like a pimped out Ford Expedition.
Nice 2007 ford expedition ! I have been waiting for this review !
Now that's a beautiful truck.
No just me, and my mom tells me I'm somebody cause she loves me......and so does your wife, funny thing is I tell your wife shes a nice truck too.
Great review thanks

Idk if you've seen a 2015 one at night yet, but the rear end lights remind me of a spinoff of Dodge's "racetrack" stop lights.
I like it, I think big SUV and trucks should be able to turn more at low speed
U guys already uploaded this video???
Thanks for the comment. No we didn't. We uploaded a mashup review with the old Navigator. This video is Brand Spakin' New like the car
I am so sorry
seme aweke Ugly??? You are nuts. This is one of the most elegant cars made.
billmarq stfu this car is shit
seme aweke You must be 13 yrs old
9:25 Andre shut that guy down lol
He just asks his question anyway , what a boss
"Woah! Youre an engineer?!"
I got the 2015 & I luv it 👌🏿
Ford has always advertise these get the same MPG as a regular V6, but they get the same MPG as most V8's.
Ford chief engineer has said " this is a luxury SUV, so we're competing with the Cadillac Escalade primarily, and the QX80, and not the GMC Yukon Denali, which has bragging rights for being a full-sized luxury SUV.
How much for months?
If you close your eyes, she sounds like Sarah Pailin...
Looks amazing
Please more charger videos
I triad navigator 2014 it's really amazing I love it every thinks was amazing on it
What did she actually engineer?
2:57 absolutely, the “Twin Turbo” nonsense scares me. Imagine when either of the turnos die, after all they are always going to be on.
Beautiful truck.
bruh thats not a truck, thats a SUV
@@Dannygordi It’s built on a truck frame, so technically.
@@realPutt-Putt technically, but i f you search it up they say its a SUV, plus its just logic
@@Dannygordi Dude go do something productive for society.
@@realPutt-Putt i will, im just bored for now, btw im not trying to be rude
The dash reminds me of the aviator
I’m confused how is she saying it will do 60mpg in the city 22 on the highway with a combo of 18 mpg it don’t make sense 😂 3:16
almost $80k...are you friggin kidding me??? A FULL size V-6 powered luxo-ute, actually a gussied up Expedition.
the yukon looks better and has a better engine. eco boost = expensive problems you wont be able to fix unless you go to a dealership

@@yellofury I guess they saw your comment because now they ARE different...
Classic design
The new suburban and tahoe are just as nice in my opinion. The escalade is more luxurious. My 2 cents, I have driven them all.

Rather go with the Caddy.
Personally, I like the outgoing model better than the new one.
Seems like the rather old dash layout needs attention...independent rear suspension the best feature...now fix the looks!
There is a 2016 with 200,000 miles on it for 18000 it's mint just lots of miles should I?
ford expedition and the navigator are dinosaurs. People say there are bad cars but if they are ,why are they still around:)?
TheKillerace900 I use the navigator personally and expedition for Uber
Roman,

I had a 2008 navigator. Inside just a refresh. The 2nd and 3rd row are the same. Only thing different is the dash.

Not feeling this SUV for some reason, at least compared to the Denali or Escalade
For something as expensive as that is, it sure does look pretty damn cheap

I bet the next Navigator smokes the Escalade.
it's a purse on 22's

Fact: Henry Ford was a huge supporter of Adolf Hitler.
Fact: Henry ford was not aware the Jews were being killed.
Really cool suv but 60000 base price is too much for me. 47000 would be a better price.

GM doesn't list the Yukon as a luxury car, that title goes toward the Escalade
It should be identified as luxury car. HAs everything a luxury car does.
+SuperFlame1995 XD
Dennis, the Yukon is a luxury SUV, an entry-level luxury SUV, but it is still a luxury SUV especially the Yukon Denali.
The dashboard looks big and ugly
I liked the 2014 model better with the v8
I'd buy a fully loaded lexus lx570 with 80k
The interior looks kinda bland and not very impressive for a luxury segment car. I expected quite a bit more but when she open the passenger door, my jaw just dropped.
