Most athletes transition from track to marathons full-time when they feel that they are not in their peak and can't compete as well at tracks anymore. Sifan Hassan is still a top track star, so she performs better than the rest. If given Sifan vs Gidey vs Koko vs Obiri who are all middle/long distance track stars, maybe Sifan might not win? Idk.

That was the best marathon race ever as never seen someone win coming from that far behind and having an injury. She is the best female athlete distance runner of all time.
