"Hospitability" My Ivorian Bro/sis are one of the best in my life. After two years living in the Ivory Coast as a refugee, my landlord turned into my big brother and his wife became the mother of my daughter. I still remember the tears rolling down her cheeks as she hugged my daughter for 5 straight minutes prior to my departure for the USA. Special things to your host. She is a real sweetheart. She's treating u as family all ready.

In 1947 when Liberia was 100 Ivory Coast wasn't on the map yet.
The first president Felix used agriculture to build the country.
He gave the electricity and water to a French company. This gives Ivory Coast one of the constant supply of electricity and water. Even villages have electricity and water.

It's an oddity that to this day to get from Monrovia to Abidjan one has to go all the way up to a frontier town like Danane. It's really strange that Liberia has never had a highway to connect all of it's coastal settlements. It would certainly make for a less arduous journey
