i Loved when you said you never wait for things to DRY! I thought it was just me! I struggle to be orderly on Camera! EVERYTHING WAS ADORABLE! LACE AND VELVET are my Favorites!
@@queencityminis The Struggle is REAL! I have to talk to Myself/Little Gretchen," all the time regarding drying time.Hair drying is a great idea. I've seen people with heat guns, but blow dryer is PERFECT! Thanks for the tip!😀
Anytime :) If you watch my videos, you can see all the wet glue and wet paint while I handle things. I even glued the dyed flowers to the side of the Witch's cabin while the flowers were still wet 😆
@Little Gretchen's Workshop I was just about to say the exact same thing!! Hahaha So good to hear other crafters openly admitting they are too impatient to wait , I don't feel so bad now lol
lol. You did a wonderful job. I have learned a lot from you. Thank you for such a wonderful channel. I started with building half scale models from Hobby Lobby in November. I have completed 8 so far. You gave me the courage to throw out the instructions to number 9. I’m pretty much doing it from scratch. Just bought the kit for materials.
I like the tips witb the aluminum foil, and as I said before, you are really an efficient person, impatient maybe as you said, but quite effective. Thank you for sharing, it gives a lot 😊
Glad it was helpful! I'm definitely efficient because of my impatience. Some miniaturists are willing to spend hours on one task, but I need to keep the crafting moving.
So creative and good use of materials. Im impatient also. I do crafts with my sister, we started when we were really young, doing arts & crafts during summer vacation from school...at the school! We loved it so much and never stopped making things. We are in our 60's now and are still at it, so thanks for posting!
“But wait- there’s more.” 🤣 Yes there was, so much more. What a delightful video full of great ideas. It looked like you really had fun with that lace and velvet.
Well these are just adorable and I'm barely into your tutorial, but I was too impatient to wait till the end of it. Lol. I relate, especially when I work with air-dry clay that has to wait 24 hours to dry! Beautiful work wonderful ideas. LOVE those books! Now I watch the rest of it. 😊
And some of these techniques are already used to made tarps, kit-bags, canvas truck cargo covers, etc. Of course, mine are a bit tattered/torn/beat-up looking on purpose and were soaked in cold coffee for a bit and wrung out but you made it easy for me. My sister gave me a bag full of material scraps from her sewing...
I adore your narration. You're a creator I watch when I need to be distracted from my chronic conditions. If I have to close my eyes I can still clearly imagine what you're doing. Thank you.
That's so nice to hear! I'm glad my videos provide comfort and distraction. I consider my videos as entertainment more than anything. I know many people watch who have never made a miniature and never plan to.
Love it, got major impatience here too, but at my advanced age I should know better lol!. I liked and subbed, I have been having an on/off obsession with miniatures for decades and dont know how you escaped my attention. I like 12th scale and 18th just to be awkward!
Just saw you chatting in a Bentley house livestream! I'm super excited to have found your channel, your work is great! Thank you so much for what you're doing here :)
Hi Andy! So happy to have you :) I'm having lots of fun learning how to create videos and edit and becoming part of the miniature community on UA-cam. None of my friends make miniatures so I really enjoy this atmosphere.
If you use the picture of the pattern pieces from the instructions you should be able to make miniature clothing. they look the right scale, but I haven't tried it yet.
I use cornstarch water to make these take shape. Dummy me had to have the corrugated rubber pretty pleats to make curtains. I bought all 3 of them and now I can't find them. Wow what a hot mess. lol Have a great day
That would be so cool! I have lots of projects on the roster, but maybe someday. You should watch Bentley House Mini's abandoned Coffee Shop project. ua-cam.com/play/PLAECWnaY6axA-I9p_n7Pp-WO0vsR2fdJe.html&si=PXTx4uANu1ZHjKr4
My grandmother used to make couches like that and sold them at craft fairs and the toyshop that used to be at Williamsburg, VA. Would love it if yours turned out to be one of hers.❤️
Some really cheap, simple but very effective idea's there 😊 👌🏻
Thank you! 😊
i Loved when you said you never wait for things to DRY! I thought it was just me! I struggle to be orderly on Camera! EVERYTHING WAS ADORABLE! LACE AND VELVET are my Favorites!
I'm always drying paint with my hair dryer and assembling items that have wet glue. It's not easy being so impatient!

The books remind me of my fuzzy diary I had back in the early 90’s as a kid. They turned out so pretty.
I had a fuzzy pink diary myself! Now I feel nostalgic

No Naked Windows! I loved that!
If I can create fabric minis without having to sew, I'm all about it!
I have to admit I got a touch of crafters envy when I saw your lace stash. The craft hoarder in me immediately wanted to get MORE lace lol.
Hahaha it'll take me a while to use all that lace. Idk why I thought I could make a mini wedding gown. I don't have the patience.

I never measure/cut straight or wait for glue to dry. Love your tutorials ❤
We're of the same mind! I like to keep the momentum going.
So pretty thank you for sharing 😊
You're welcome!
I’ve learned so much from you! Thank you

I just love you, and you are so talented! Thank you so much for making it so easy, and I am the same way easy and fast. Thank you 😊🤗

Hi there my name is Debra you are so smart I'm 65 and I would have never thought of some of the stuff you have done love you keep it coming
This is one of the first videos I did! I'm glad you enjoyed it
Bowl sandwich lol. Great ideas.
I will say I tried a couple bad ideas first before hitting on something that worked 😆

Thank you! This is such an old video of mine. It's one of my first. I'm glad to see it's still making it's way to people.
Just fantastic, incredible much Beauty in there....👍🍀❤️🤗

I love when people give me things to use in my miniature craft. In my next video, I use some scrap leather a knife maker gave me.
I adore your narration. You're a creator I watch when I need to be distracted from my chronic conditions. If I have to close my eyes I can still clearly imagine what you're doing. Thank you.

Great ideas I loved the lamp shade. I made my vintage living room chairs and couch with that fabric.I love that color.
You made a couch and chairs? That's impressive!
Hola soo cute,,muy lindo 😍🇲🇽
Thank you :)
you're so pretty and so classy!
Thank you 😊
Not sure where you get your ideas but they are stunning! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you! A lot of the ideas just pop into my head or I see someone else do something and it sparks an idea.
I have a lot of lace. Now I know what to do! Thank you for your inspiration! Everything you make is so beautiful!
You're welcome! Have fun

Thanks for the sub! Welcome 🤗 I've been having an on obsession with miniatures for the past couple years.
Really enjoyable video! I’m guessing that balsa box originally came with worry dolls in it. I have one too and now I’m inspired to juj it up a bit ❤
Oh cool! Have fun
There's lots of inspiration in this video so thank you! I also have a lace stash, so I can't wait to start!!
I'm so glad! Happy crafting
Beautiful
Thank you!
I just started working on miniatures and I'm hooked. I love your videos! Keep them coming, I don't wait for the glue to dry either 😀
The only time I wait for the glue to dry is if I leave it to go eat.
Just saw you chatting in a Bentley house livestream! I'm super excited to have found your channel, your work is great! Thank you so much for what you're doing here :)

Ох, какая красота!!
Thank you 🤗

That would probably work. I haven't made mini clothing (aside from an apron) bc I'm so impatient.
I use cornstarch water to make these take shape. Dummy me had to have the corrugated rubber pretty pleats to make curtains. I bought all 3 of them and now I can't find them. Wow what a hot mess. lol Have a great day
Great idea!
Ugh, that does stink! Those are expensive. They must be around somewhere.
Very cute
Thank you! 😊
Thanks
You're welcome!
I love your videos could you make a phantom coffee shop diorama.

Here you are! One of my earliest videos 😬
The closed captions all appear at the first second of the video but not at the times they should appear
Oh no. I'm not good at figuring out how to fix things like that, but I'll try
I would never have thought of this. I'm making a dollhouse for a friend and this is a wonderful idea. Thank you for sharing!
That's awesome! Is it a surprise for your friend? What's the theme?
@@queencityminis she wants a witchy themed dollhouse, so I'm thinking of a lovely little cottage with a "reading room".
Awesome! Check out my Witch's Cottage video. It's filled with a bunch of mini tutorials while I decorated a Witch's Cottage. You may get some ideas.
@@queencityminis thank you😊
