I am a first time collector and this I bought the Supergirl action figure from The Flash (2023) movie. My question is what else would possibly be a good action figure or figures to add to such collection. I am also thinking of collection Funko figures and I am curious as to what should I collect? Any advice would greatly be appreciated of course.
I’m 15 and always had a couple of transformers figures and others but lately been very depressing and going back to childhood feels great I forgot how much I love figures so I’ve been digging through my toy box and displaying my figures around my room it feels great but I want more. Obviously I can ask my mom but that’s her hard earned money. I’m soon old enough to get a job and I’m so hyped to work hard to earn happyness.
@@ghostieboi9783 I’m 15 and I’ve been collecting since I was about 13, and I’ve got a massive collection now. So much fun, stick with it, it’s a great hobby
Although, I've been collecting DC and Marvels figures for years, you mentioned in your video how to go about starting out, which is what I did when I first started collecting. No one taught me the ropes of collecting. From watching your video, I now know I've been doing the right thing all these years. Thank you for reiterating! :-)
I'm actually getting into theStar Wars Black Series line of figures. Even tho never opening figures keeps their value high i find it not fun to display figures in the box. Posing is always more fun :)
Good video. I'm sure why it popped up now by 5+ years old, but I'm glad it did. It's funny how figure collecting has changed. Nowadays, seems there's always a Boba Fett on toy shelves. One tip I'd give collectors is to start a collection with the grail of the line. If you want the whole line, wait till you find the grail or hard to get expensive pieces at a fair or cheap price. That way, you can build around it. I saw a lot of collectors get to the last piece or two and get up because as prices on those pieces are more than the rest of the collection and maybe even double prices during to time collecting. Whatever you collect, make it fun.
@@jeroona5648 I got the mochas last year and called it quits, lately I’ve just gotten dunks but only if I get them on SNKRS/skate shops for retail. But yeah I feel better buying more figures for the price of one shoe for sure

It really depends on the wave. Unless you truly want an entire wave or want a build-a-figure from a wave, I think 20 each tends to help me stretch out my toy hunting budget over the weeks.
The more MIB or MOC in the market, the less investment they will make. i think those who keep modern action figures MIB/MOC today is because they saw a 40 year MOC go for thousands & think their modern MIB/MOC will fetch that value in 30 years time. What they probably don't realise is that those MIB/MOCs 40 years ago are rare beacuse back then, the majority opened their action figures for play and not having the hindsight of their worth 40/50 years in the future. For me, when I visit someone's house to look at their collection, I really do not want to see a room that resembles the toy dept at a supermarket.
