I was first introduced to Glass in the mid-1970s through this work, to which a friend told me I must listen but which I avoided, thinking it was just more of what I termed contemporary music's "academic grey" sound. When I finally listened, I was hooked and have been ever since. This wonderful documentary, which I saw when it premiered, was my first taste of what Einstein looked as well as sounded like. Thank you so much for posting this, the first time I've seen it since then!
Saw this on TV in Iceland in the 80's and this was my intro to Glass.
I’d love to see this production in its entirety ….

thanks you for uploading this old original. still crazy shit when sober and even better when you are "under the influence" of life.
Lowkey one of the only documentaries I’d watch. Lafalasidosi!
“The second major influence was when I adopted this 13 year old black deaf mute child.” Lmao it’s like a parody
Thank you, thank you!!!!
