Sandhill Cranes

A sandhill crane is a large bird averaging 3 feet tall with a wingspan up to 6-7 feet. A migratory bird that breeds in northern latitude and spends the winter in southern areas of the US.

I had a pair nesting behind me this summer a couple of hundred yards back . They reared 2 chick's and fly over regularly l . Man they can squawk.
