Oil Pump looks very similar to 70s twins. The earlier pump bodies were alloy and later ones were cast iron. Apparently the later ones were better? I have an alloy type that is tight same as your video, I will give it the treatment as above. Thanks for the excellent video...
In regards to the A and B BSA engines: I’ve considered buying a brand new very expensive new style oil pump. I wonder do they pump MORE volume of oil? Will that cause MORE leaks or not? My other question: is the sump filling from sitting coming thru the oil pump? And how can you reduce that seepage?
Sorry I don't know much about the new pumps, check out the ball and spring in the outer case to prevent "wet sumping" my test only shows flow and not pressure. Cheers Brian
