It’s funny how Nick’s criticism of the Jets can almost be directly applicable to the Lakers but he’s on the polar opposite side of the spectrum when it comes to the Lakers
In what way? Rodgers hasn’t shown anything close to what he has been years ago while Lebron is still among the best even at his age. Jets are an injury prone at key positions team with a young defense. Lakers are an old team with 2 of the best players in the league.
1. It's ridiculous to think they could get Adams without giving up Garrett Wilson or Sauce-Gardner, plus top draft picks. Like, a few. The Raiders aren't just to just hand him over. This could gut the Jets core, and their future, just to get Wilson.
2. Why on earth anyone thinks not only will Rodgers last the entire 17 game season (plus playoffs), but also go back to playing like he did in 2021, or years before, is dreaming. The dude will turn 41 this year, and is coming off a fully torn achilles. Good luck.

Davante is going for 1 first round pick max and even that is a stretch. 30+ year old WR does not have much value on the trade market.
Devante is 31. If you think they are getting the 23 year old best CB in the league or a 23 year old star receiver who's on track to outpace Devante, plus top draft capital, you just don't really know anything about the NFL

Jets would Davante would definitely be contenders. Teams shouldn’t have an issue stopping the Chiefs as much as they have had in the past, it’s the defense that’s the strength of that team now. Davante Adams, Garrett Wilson, Breece Hall, Mike Williams if healthy, etc would immediately become one of the best skill position groups in the entire league. And the offensive line genuinely looks better.
Jets could have the whole Pro Bowl team and still F it up.

I think Aaron Rodgers has the same problem as Dak in big playoff games, their defenses give up too many points not playing well, and the QBS then press too much trying to make plays, which is why they have more INT's, if Dak's and Aaron's defenses could hold up, they could be more relaxed and effective

I think Nick has finally accepted Allen's actually really good.
Despite the playoff losses to the Chiefs, no QB plays better against them (yes, Burrow included).
Mahomes is the better QB, but you can't discount how important it is to have a HOF offensive-minded HC like Andy Reid vs inept defensive-minded HC McDermott.
In their last 5 meetings, Allen's got 16 TDs / 1 INT vs the Chiefs, while Mahomes has 11 TDs / 5 INTs in those games. McDermott's defense can't even provide a speed bump of resistance, and he's consistently out-coached.
Until the Bills get a new HC, they'll be destined to play 2nd fiddle to the Chiefs (and possibly the Ravens/Bengals).
