It does not have a KT. I wanted to put a TT 475 in it but it would have needed way to much modification so I chose the Big Cam 2. When I bought the truck nearly 10 years ago it already had a small cam Cummins in it. I ran it everyday for 5 years hauling blacktop, stone, etc until the small cam had issues. Rebuilding a small cam seemed counter productive. So, the big cam was an obvious choice given my level of skills.
450 seems pretty good for what you are doing. Did you ever consider the KT? The firewall seems to be a stumbling block when swapping engines along with the narrow engine compartment. Looking in terms of a lowboy. Thanks and take care.
do you know which Cummins it was originally built with? I'm thinking that year it could even have been a 220, or a 262. 55,000 rears? Being you put a double over Roadranger in it,n I'm thinking it was originally a TRQ-7220 quad box, the rear axle ratios used for both transmissions would be about the same. Really nice truck
Total respect to the Driver, that lady is a total professional, and her truck is stunning, those Jakes sound really good on that Cummins. Just total Reapect.
She really is! Thank you for that she deserves it!!!
She drives that Mack with absolute precision. Awesome!
Absolutely! She's incredible! Thank you!!!
Those older rtoo transmissions were really triple overs cause 7th direct Was direct then 7th over was the first over and 8th direct was the 2nd over and 8th over was the 3rd over. Final over was around .61 to 1
Nice truck, those old macks can run all day with the Jake on, pull the throttle lock out a hair, not enough to idle the engine up & it will still work & not stall the engine, keep em coming Brother
Absolutely! Hahaha for sure! We will do our best!
Is it a Big Cam or a KT?
It’s a big cam 2.
I thought in a B there's no room for big ass KT.@@B815MACKgal
Big cam
A regular working 450 Cummins in a B81 series truck with a 13 speed. Wonder how much work it took to do that all that switching. How cool does the engine stay with that radiator?
Thats a sweet mack joe. That ladys a driver for real. Good video tho. Stay safe and keep truckn
She really is! Thank you! We really appreciate that and you do the same! Keep on truckin!
those double over 13spd is one of my favorites along with the spicer 16spd it's shifting like you're licking postage stamps
Hahahahaha that's awesome! I like it too!
You can't beat a old Mack, man that thing sounds sweet!
Thank you!!!!! I really appreciate that!
Женщина так умело управляет таким раритетом, это действительно заслуживает уважения.
Love the sound man will you please see if you can do some ASMR videos with this truck like really long ASMR videos because those are my absolute favorite type of videos to watch on his older trucks is the ASMR videos stay safe man and have a great one
I have other footage from this ride that I am putting together as an ASMR and there will be plenty to come in the future! Thank you for that and I'm glad you enjoyed watching! You do the same and keep on trucking!
@@Only4Trucks always brother even though I’m blind I can do anything I set my mind to and let that be a lesson to others because there’s a truck that I want to get in Kentucky. It’s a 79 international S 2100 with a DT 466E and when I do get it, I want you to come down to Georgia meet me and I’ll take you for a good ride in it
thats a truck u know ur driving, loads noise, bumps, shakeing, squeeking, vibrations, clunks. love the sound of it
Bad ass unit! Great content as always brother!
Thank you! We really appreciate that!
So that was a V8 mack at one point and refitted with a Cummins.
Yes it was! Plenty more to come on this truck and it's history!
I had that same transmission in an old GMC tandem dump truck back in the day. Though it had no Cummins. It had the wonderful CAT 3208. Damn I needed every gear when loaded.
I wouldn't mind that drivetrain lol and do you mean every split to get you through hills?
Really all ya can say is badd ass driv,ah 🤙🏻🤙🏻
Thank you!!!!
Sweet truck with a kick-ass Jake! awesome vid 👍
Absolutely! Thank you, I really appreciate that!

I don't believe so.
Come on driver.
Absolutely! You got it!
I have a 1965 B83 with a 220 Cummins and a quadruplex transmission, triple framed with 65,000 lb rears. They don't make them like that anymore.
Wow that's awesome! Hey really don't!!! Hope to meet you at a show one day and see your truck!
Good deal😅
Absolutely!!! Hahah
Double overdrive road ranger too. I'm thinking it was originally a TRQ-7220 quad box with really numerically high gears
I'm not quite sure honestly
Should’ ve had a 5 and 4 or 6 and 2 transmission too shift and Left the original Mack engine in it and I wonder if you changed the springs called ( the camel. back. suspension ) most driver’s always complained the truck rode so rough. with that. particular. suspension. / I drove one those trucks hauling oilfield pipe northern. Alberta Canada back in. middle. 1980s and early 1990s in the wintertime in the bush -20 too - 30 below . They are very tough trucks. in the bush. and. also rugged. construction. sites / have a good. day and enjoy the old iron. and keep that unit between ditches . Bill. S. Canada
Thank you! And we appreciate you watching! Glad you enjoyed!
